Good luck with the bone scan, Alyson!
-
Alyson -- wishing you very well too.
I'm going for blood draw tomorow and then PCP appointment on the May 13. It should all be fine. I tend to look on it all in a positive light -- also, it is not the oncology check this time and is just more to renew all my medications and go over numbers from the blood test. I do have a knee issue ...... it has a couple of slightly swelled areas on it...been that way for a couple months or so. I feel it, but it hasn't hurt. Still, I know I need to address it before it does anything strange. Now would be a good time.

So glad to see your post, Athena. As others have said, garble is good. Hope everyone had a decent Monday.

Alyson - hope you're boring!!!

Alyson, wishing you a BORING day.
I'm off to Manhattan to meet a fellow BCO - from the Flat and Fabulous thread. Going to a luncheon to promote living flat as a viable option for women who've had mx. I'll try to check up on everyone later today.
Meanwhile, thinking of Athena, and hoping for another small roar as she's able.

Boring Results!
I used to wonder but now I have no doubt!

I think I need to move to the USA. You see I'm not free in this country! haahahaahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
-
Have a great day A! I'm off today too! Gonna smell me some baby, that is, if my Government will allow it!
-
Blue, great with the boring results! I thought you were a "Murrican." Are you up there with the pinko-vegetarian-commie scum in Canada?
-
Yep that's me!

-
Alyson, taking a nap to while you get those boring tests done!
My kind of skateboarding!

-

Blue, I laughed so hard at the Egyptian graphic that I forgot what else I was going to say.

Hi all,
Back from my 8 day (seemed like 208) at my mom's. managed to keep my thoughts to myself most of the time unless her dh said something incredibly stupid. Good news is that my mom doesn't have pancreatic cancer so I won't have to go back anytime soon!
So good to hear from Athena, yeah for garble! And E, loved the photo of Sampson. Hope you can ride soon! So much has gone on in my absence that I can't comment on it all. Just hoping all tests are boring and negative means negative from here on out. -
Kudos to BCO: This past Saturday, I had lunch with someone I met here nearly 5 years ago. She was attending a seminar in Niagara Falls, ON (she lives just north of NYC). This was our first meeting "in real life" and I hope we're lucky enough to have several more! She doesn't post here anymore, but she and I have made several dear friends here, so.......Thanks, BCO, for bringing us like-minded gals together!

So wonderful to hear this! Thanks so much for sharing!!!

That golden horse is unreal!
-
river_rat - add me to the Flovent list
Nearly went into cardiac arrest at the PRICE - and finding out my BCBS Medex Part D deductible went from $90. to $250. since last year. YIKES - $170. for a steroid inhaler - 120 "puffs" - that's more than $1. a puff???? Oh, well, hope it helps. X ray seems ok - and I am SO TIRED of coughing...From what my nice doc said, this year the Flu was HIDEOUS, and the recovery very long. SHE had the flu & developed pneumonia...and she's much younger than I am. Oh, well - feel better having seen a doc - and having an xray, guess everyone can understand what I was afraid of finding - jeeeeeez, does the fear ever go away???
LOVE the horse hugging the little girl...thanks, Blue...love the pictures you find - must be the Canadian wisdom
showing up again
-
