Athena! Hope this is all a horrible mistake and it is just severe inflammation, compressed disks and tendinitis and bursitis. Or osteopenia.

Hey Moderators - can you resize my horse? His awesomeness won't fit on the page!
-
Craze-E, I just tried, but not successful. Another Mod will try soon.
-
Sampson's amazingnicity even resists resizing attempts! He's SuperHorse!
-
-
Sampson is gorgeous. Look at those sexy flanks!

Sampson is the most amazingly amazing horse!

I love the ted talks! But, but, but, but.....you have single payer, so....your doctors are lazy government tit-suckers....and everybody knows that research only flourishes when it's for money!!!!
Edited to add: Watching his talk, I'm amazed at what he's accomplished! A miracle worker!

Athena and E
All I can saw is WTH?

What a beauty Samson is and I don't even mind having to roll my mouse a bit to see all of him. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Have to admit ( due mainly to size probably ) I am slightly intimidated by horses, but Samson doesn't look as though he would know anything about scaring anyone.
Athena, I'm with the others and am crossing everything that can be crossed that an answer that can be easily dealt with shows up and you can begin deep relief measures.
lewing....ick -- but it is something you need to know about and is something we all should do on occasion. I'm hoping someone devises something a bit better though. In the meantime we are stuck with something not too palatable.
Christians equals something that causes a lot of controversy. It is also something that doesn't just happen but takes work often in the form of having to keep trying to achieve the right framework -- it isn't just dropped there and left. All comes down to a four-letter word. If you can love enough you will work toward actual understanding and finding a bridge for differences of opinions -- a lot of bridges out there that no one is crossing. The other 4-letter word is hope. Always hope for us, but back to that other four letter word....work. There are a lot of four letter words in my LIFE and they don't go away.
The picture below is not the best, but the words and idea are very much so.

The man is too big for words. If not for him, I would be bedbound right now. It isn't perfect and the disease is still progressing but I can walk without falling over!
-
Athena - say it isn't so!!!

-
Sampson is a very sweet boy but occasionally, he gets pushy. He's easily intimidated, though, so he backs down pretty quickly.
Athena....come in, Athena....we miss you!
-
Athena, NOOOOOO! So hoping this is a BIG mistake!
Sampson, the beautiful!

-
((((((((((((((Athena)))))))))))))) please check in!
-
Athena, I hope your pain is under control and you're getting some rest right now . . . but please do check in when you're able. You know we're here for you. Big, big hugs.

Athena...I am letting out a deafening ROAR!!
E...my daughter was not allowed to ride her horse for awhile too. They were afraid she would fall and either break a bone or bleed excessively. However........we did let her walk around on her mare while being led. It was even more theraputic for her because it was forbidden and we allowed her to break the rules.
Now, I am not saying that YOU should do such a thing. That would be very irresponsible and wrong.

Edited to mention that she was visited by the Canadian Olympic Team's Chef d'equipe and given an Atlanta Olympic riding jacket.
-
Athena,
Damn and a few other choice, unprintable words. I really hope this is a big mistake. Love ya!
-
Athena - Hoping for the best!! Waiting to hear .....
E - whatever you do re Sampson, please be careful!
Couldn't listen it your doctor, blue, I'm at chemo and the benadryl is kicking in, will listen later! -
E, he is a miracle worker. Love that man!
Universal Halthcare scares all the good docs away! NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahahahahaha!
-
It's a little known fact that Canadian doctors' incomes are the second highest of all the first world countries we can think of. So there are 2 reasons why some of our best hospitals and research institutes are able to lure U.S. docs to cross the border: comparable income and the fact that they don't need to fight with insurance companies to treat their patients.
((((((Athena)))))) We're all in your pride and keeping our paws crossed for you, dear one.
-
Blue -- I watched part of the Mel Blanc story you posted last evening. Loved to meet the man who gave voice to my avatar -- and to so many more!!
-
Athena - No! Didn't you say you had an event at the gym?
-

Oh dear! Have no idea what I'm doing wrong but the image doesn't show, and I've tried several times to delete the post, and tried to edit it, and nothing works. Modsd, I'm still with eyes downcast, and face red
. -
Well, heck! There it is! Our Mods work fast!!!!
-
Athena, let me tell you about my experience.
First I had mets to the spine. (bone scan)

Then I waited 6 months.
Then I got the all clear (another bone scan)
So it ain't over!!!!!!!
Please check in......me worried!
-
Same here with me Blue - x-ray, bone scan and now MRI - results from first two show nothing but MORE arthritis and MRI results due tomorrow - in between (since January) experiments with all kinds of drugs (none worked) and OT follow-ups weekly, plus special brace (made just for me) to get some sleep - soooo Athena - sending you hugs and hope that things turn out better than you think and if they don't we're here with whatever you need.
