Jackie, your morning sounds wonderful. Mine was too. I saw an eagle trying to build a nest on top of a local cell tower. He's done it before and they've knocked it down. I'm kind of hoping they don't notice this time. Also saw a field full of deer. Saw a different field full of them last night. They are a road hazard but they are so beautiful.

OK, I'm done.  Just love it when Christians speak ill of the dead!  I have more Christianity in my nail clippings.

    So sorry, Athena!

Wendel is home and sleeping.  I had to take his cone off.......he wouldn't move!

Ok, let's see if I can explain this without sounding loopy or making more proof reading errors than ever.

It appears that I have a nerve impingment that started in the rhomboids and is radiating down my right arm to cause out-of-this word pain at several points, in cluding y elbow, my forearm and my hand.

It appears to have been exercise-induced, and I had spent the last two weeks massaging, rubbing, stretching, etc... to no avail. On Sunday at dawn, the pain reach about a 7 or 8 our of ten so I went to the ER. THe gave me 5 mgs of Valium and some oxycodone. These meds barely touched the pain. This morning at dawn, I limped back into the er crying. They gave me an injection of dilaudid [sp.] (HL - I thought of you) and another injection of something else - prescription motrin or something. The pain quickly subsided. MY rhomboids pain remained, but it was a 2-3 out of 10 and the doctor said that would remain for a while. They then discharged me with 10 mgs of valium every 4 hours plus oxycodone of the Tylenol kind. This idea was to rid me of the pain and ke sure I could stay ahead of it, which I more or less have, though feeling loopy.

This is the worst pain I have ever had in my life. Doc is very doubtful it is mets - it's clearly a nerve impingement. A non-serious condition with killer side effects.

I hope I don't need surgery because I have enough scars in my body, thank you very much. When I was thinking of love earlier I must have been thinking of dating (who knows what I was thinking!).

Anyway, part of the feeling-sorry-for-myself-itist is that I feel unloved by all. Buahua. :-)

Not sure what the Mods are on about, although the less we discuss people whose views don't deserve respect the better.

For now, I will continue sleeping and taken meds and being up at weird hours.

Who knew a verve impingement could to this much. It could be a disk. In my infinite wisdom, I may have slipped one while exercising to get rid of the cancer.

    Athena the brilliant (sarcasm oozing)

    Forgive proofing errors.

It is - LOVE your name, Blue. The US DOES need "your sticking money" - we have a trade deficit with Canada.

Oh - and (TMI) I have thrown up more times per day than I can count, thanks to the oxycodone. My thinking is: asl ong as I don't throw up the actual pill it's ok. Other thinking: a person in excruciating pain has a divine right to ice cream. Wolfing down some Haagen Dasz as we speak.

Loving the pictures Blue....and haters are going to hate.  Too bad that is the apparent dominant factor in those sorts.  Well, I guess you have to feel something in bubble-land.  Anyway I appreciate the pictures.

Also....jmho but I think there are a lot of people who profess Christianity and really don't get it.  Or maybe it is the fact of formalizing so much of it --  again jmo but you can get real complicated about things and go nowhere.  If you take everything down to the lowest common denominator, there could be some real surprises.  I tend to things like that quite a lot because you get rid of some of the smoke and mirrors which seem to be everywhere.

Athena -- you are going through so much.  Wish there were something I could do.

River -- I'd have loved to see your Eagle too.  They are such magnificent birds.

Still raining outside ( boo ) but at least our water table is back up where it normally is....in a lot of people's basements now and then, but fortunately people know how to keep it out now.

    See ya all later.

Sounds good Athena!  I take oxycet for my back as well.  It can cause havoc on the digestive tract.

Athena - Ice cream is very nutritious - it has milk in it, or maybe cream, and certain things that give it flavour like maybe real fruit, or what once was real fruit. I think it is almost required at this point if you like it.

The trouble with nerves is that they are hard to treat. I have no loss of strength or range of motion. The Valium is meant to serve as a muscle relaxant just so that my nerves get a break. Grrrr. How annoying.

    Blue, rest well.

Chick - great news - looking forward to hearing all about the cruise in June.

Athena - I have been having the most excruciating nerve pain in my right arm since the middle of January - I've had every test imaginable and waiting on the results of an MRI which I should have by Thursday - thinking is that it is a disk because I have disintegrating disks all over the place - no bone mets have shown up so far - I wear a special brace at night which helps me to get to sleep, during the day if I rest with my back against something firm the pain diminishes - I've tried everything and I mean everything - maybe I should try the ice cream!  BTW being on the computer is when the pain is terrible which is why I've hardly been posting.  Take care and let us know what's happening.

Athena, I hope you are able to get the pain under control and the tummy issues go away. I can't recall anything you said that would offend me. So whatever that was all about, forgitaboutit!

Wabbit (I think) I have not been around much lately because: I'm teaching two nights a week; getting ready for major benefit at work, anticipating close to 200 attendees; moving out of current house on April 30, into new one on May 1. I'm just a little crazy!!!!

    Oh, hugs to E.

    Yeah for Chickadee!!!

Athena~~I'm so sorry you are in such horrendous pain. My stomach can't handle those meds either. I know you aren't really a believer, but if you don't mind, I'll be praying for you. Think of it as well wishes, good thoughts, whatever.

Blue~~I love the one of Michael dancing. My favorite of all his songs are Billy Jean & The Man in the Mirror.

Well Wendel is in peeing mode.  I guess all the IV during the surgery.  So here I am waiting for him to settle down.   Watching old reruns of House.   Wonder what terrible things I will hear about him tomorrow! You now my taste in men and all....hahahahaaha!

Paula, I love Michael too! Such a kind spirit but I guess one must have kindness in them to recognize it.  He was absolved of all wrongdoing but still some still like to talk crap about him.  Small Minds who haven't done their homework!

The Morrison.........what can I say, he was the best!  Always will be!
