I hate those tent caterpillars too, Nancy.  Here they tend to get in wild cherry trees.  Needless to say, any wild cherry trees in my yard are no longer here!

Lisa, did you take the picture in your yard?

Kathy maybe your local garden shop sells that sticky tabe to keep the worms out of the tree?    Ugh we had tent catepillers in Illinois, gross.

Here in WA my main issue is lots of bees around the trim on the house. A window washer had to go off to the hospital last summer due to bee stings.  We do have some really pretty Rhododendrons and Azaleas along with a couple Camelias.

    Hugs Ginger

Nancy, I had such a tough time on Arimadex as well as a small progression that my doc changed me to Femara. Within a couple of weeks, I was like a new woman.......literally! No aches and very few pains, my mood lifted and I felt more like my old self. That was two years ago and I'm still doing well. Hopefully your once will change you to an AI that makes you feel better.

Las I love that pic, remember when you posted it the first time and I kept a copy.......the colors are stunning!

Ginger, I haven't heard anything from Isabella since she posted tha she was in hospital. I do hope she is on the mend and her back is feeling much better.

Well, I finally gave in and went to a hairdresser to have my hair done......lol. My girls have been urging me to do this for ages and I finally gave in as DDs wedding is in Sept as you know and I want my hair to look good for her. I must admit that a little color and a few hi lights sure do make a difference.....lol. I actually like the effect. I'm off to visit the GP tomorrow so am spending the night with eldest DD. I've been having fun with her cat and my laser pointer........I've been laughing so hard at his antics that I've had tears running down my face.

Hope your day has been a good day!

    Love n hugs. Chrissy

Lisa, What beautiful colors the flamingoes are!  Been to SD Zoo a couple of times and love watching them.  My photos are no where near as good as yours.

Lisa, My guess is Alaska, perhaps Juneau or Sitka. But I know you were in Maine last year, and it could be there.

Kathi..it while I was doing my chemo that I took up digital photography twelve years ago now..the cameras were pretty primative but it was a learning experience when I had to stay home..

Wow, Lisa.  Can't believe you took up photography only 12 years ago.  Your pictures are professional quality!  The flamingos are gorgeous.

Thanks, Ginger.  I'll try to find those bands somewhere.  The exterminator was here last week and he said they didn't carry them yet, that the canker worms had just started coming into this area.  That's true--never had them until last year and now everybody in the county has them.

Chrissy, there's something about a new hair color that just gives one a lift and I'm so glad you like yours.  Post a pic when you can.

DH finally broke down and went to the doctor after complaining of a sore throat for a week.  Sometimes men are so hardheaded!  He now has an antibiotic and 2 allergy meds so hopefully he'll recover soon.  Both our allergies have never been worse than this year, but I keep telling myself that this pollen has to eventually end.

Kathy, wellI grew up with a camera in my hands, but color developing cost so much I did not take many pix. Also we had to wait for the whole roll of film to be used up before we took it in, I was seeing Christmas pix in July! With digital we can take hundreds and just print up a couple, plus we can crop and use tools to fix them so easily. Digital made photography fun and affordable so I delved into it happily.Software has also added the fun factor like making collages..keeps me mentally and physically active!

Lisa, What software do you use? I have a mac and use iphoto, but would love to be able to do collages.

    Morning all

Just flying by. DS's wedding today. Lots to do before 4.00. Hair to be done, flowers to organise - for the venue - and MiL to organise which is going to be the most difficult. She is forgetting things and is so sure she had a dress to wear but it is a tunic over trousers. She wants to wear it with stockings - I giggle every time I think about it. Must write DH a list as he is collecting her.

    Big hugs

Alyson, such an exciting time!  Hope all is going or went well, and that MIL was fine.  Do post some pictures!

We kept DGS today and I so envy the energy he has!  He didn't stop all day and was still going strong when I took him home a while ago.  We, on the other hand, are ready to drop.

Aly, hope the day goes well and you get to sit and enjoy!

I hear you Kathy on the energy of the little ones.........my grand nieces and nephews wear me out!

I dropped the boys home on Monday and stayed over night as I had a docs appointment. He says I'm doing well so that's a good thing but I've been having some stomach pain issues so now we are on the hunt to find the cause/culprit.........if its not one thing it's another........this getting older is definitely for the birds! Oh well, from now on for a few weeks to see if it makes any difference there is no sugar, no dairy and no gluten 😠 yuk! Oh well if it stops what's going on I'll be a happy camper.

    Have a good day all!

    Love n hugs. Chrissy

Lisa, the flamigos are wonderful. Their heads and necks are making a heart.

Aly, the wedding is over by now, heave a sigh of relief. too funny about MIL's "dress".

Chrissy, I really do hope the vacation from my AI works. It's nice to know I am not the only one that it seems to effect in such a way.

I had my colonoscopy today. I came home and went back to sleep, now I'm awake in the middle of the night. It turns out that I have some diverticulotis, which might have caused the pain I've been having.  You are right it is always something.

Well, my DD has called while she is driving in CO, due to time change we can talk.

    hugs      Nancy

I've had a diverticulosis pocket which shows up on every scan I have.  My doc is thinking along the lines that it has gone to diverticulitis and is part of my problem.  I hear you Nancy on the belly ache......not nice.

Hope you have a good chat with your DD, nice of her to call.

    Love n hugs,   Chrissy

Sorry about all the various tummy troubles. My DH goes for a coloscopy next week I think.

FIL is having itching due to his jaundice. They are having Hospice come in today for first time giving service, all the intake was done a few weeks ago.  Since there is no treatment to help him, he has gallbladder cancer, I hope they can help his symptoms. My MIL got some anti anxiety meds so she is doing better but is feeling bored. SHe is used to being busy all of the time, all the time. She is a dynamo.

I wonder how long it will be for him. He is still up and continuing to write a famly history and memoires and organizing family photos. He is about 86 and mil is 83. It is hard from this far away. DH has tickets for Memorial Day weekend but I don't think FIL will last that long, he was told weeks, maybe months over a month ago. Oh, I don't know anything really.

    Love Ginger
