Hi peeps xx
Gorgeous sun shine here at moment
really makes you feel good.
Went to bed 9.30 again and then woke at 6am. Dusted and steam mopped right through downstairs so if anyone visits all tidy.
When you do this no one ever comes though lol.Shed man has CT scan this morning, came through very quickly. Hope this isnt because they think things not good.
Nihahi, Welcome back !!!! we were all getting concerned but as long as you are home that's great.
Post when you have the energy, hope you are being spolied by DD and DH. xxxLiefie, Diep sounds scarey to me but you brave girls have fought many battles already so sure you will flash through this. Nice that PS is going to make the girls match up, great for your confidence.
xxxDakota, hope all ok now where you are ? xxx
Movie, you will be such a help to the Diep girls. Hope your spirits lifting
xxxCaitlin, hope steroids have calmed down and you are feeling " normal " xxx
Carla, age makes no difference to how we feel about our bodies, you have a decision to make but you will be just as beautiful with or without surgery. xxx
DH is up, sxxt !! and has a day of clearing out the loft planned !! We have lived here seven years and half the boxes were from last house. Like Xmas opening them lol.
Had a good bit of news yesterday, was on waiting list for mini cruise to Ireland and Scotland in June.
Thought I would ring up just to check and have got a cabin !!
My best friend and other ladies we usually cruise with don't know I have managed to get on.
I said when they were booking months ago that wasn't sure if I could go.Have even managed to be on their table at dinner as usual.
Trying to keep it secret and then will just pop up at Dinner, sooo excited could burst.
Hopet hey don't throw me overboard lol.Hope you all have a happy Saturday. xxxxx

Question for sisters please.
Know I say rads great and still are, only problem is since I have had boost 2 look as if someone has put my boob in the fire, red all over and underneath looks as if it has been put on bbq. Is this normal please girls ?? Slathering tons of Aqueous cream on and that is very soothing but bit scared that they have overdone it -
Hi ladies.....yes I'm still alive and kicking!!!! Have been reading but can't keep up with you lot with regards to responding. You are all in my heart, of of course everyday.
Dakota, wow what a beauty you are!!!
Edi.....so happy for you that you get to go on the cruise.....oh, Scotland!!!!
I'm praying for fast healing to those that need it and everyone else, a big hug from me...
love you all....❤.....have a good weekend. -
Quick check-in -
Edi - yes, normal from my experience. It is not comfortable and it looks very dramatic. Keep up the cream, you can also call and see if they want to prescribe something else like Flamazine. I just kept using the cream given to me, the worst of it was about a week, then it cleared up really quickly after that. Now looking in the mirror there is only a slight pink tinge to the skin.
Nihahi - so good to hear from you. Rest up
Carlads - I also am wondering whether I will go through with any reconstruction. There is a tremendously long wait list here just to talk to a PS and then another long wait for surgery so I will get on the waitlist for the appointment to talk to the PS and see what they have to say
Have to run as busy day but sending love to all xxxooo -
Edi, like Websister said, keep up with the cream. I use to use sorbolene cream . I still blistered and skin color under my arm is still a dark red color (I'm talking 17 years ago) .... its all normal hun

How exciting, mini crusie for you
I love cruises, went on one for my honeymoon around the south pacific, was gorgeous....we were going to do it again for our 5 year anniversary next year, will see how things go!! Gives you something to look forward too after evrerything you've been through, and all those renovations...lolNihahi, glad you are home and recovering. Thanks for checking in to give us that sign that you are home . Quick healing vibes being sent your way xo
Carla, bring on next Thursday....whoo hoo last chemo EVER..how exciting. Time to celebrate. You deserve it. Good luck with the recon decision...
Movie, how long did you take to heal from DIEP ? I was thinking that but am going for the 'quick recovery' with implants ( no TE's for me, there's enough skin here for them to cut off and make 2 x c cup boobies just from my one...lol)
Dakota, how good is it that they caught the A holes that arranged the Boston Bombings....I hope things are settling and getting back to normal over there. Has DS recovered from being sick ? Hope not too much sports this weekend for you so you can relax !!
Websister enjoy your day running around being busy
(not that that's anything different for you! ha ha)Bearcub/Benny/Jennie and anyone else I may have missed as brain is a little slow at 1am....lol.....enjoy your day/night xo
I'm off to bed now, hopefully I get some sleep tonight !!
-
Traii, can I borrow some of your skin for my DIEP? I'm not so well-endowed . . . lol. Wish I could go the quick implant route, but nooooo. Because of radiation and capsular contracture my PS won't even entertain that thought. I like her so much, and will trust her judgment.
Got my confirmation letter from her in the mail yesterday. Have to be at the hospital at 6 am on May 21, all washed and scrubbed. That is Tuesday in 4 weeks' time, and getting a bit apprehensive now, more so about the tummy surgery than the boob. Can't wait to see what Nihahi's experience was/is. It just sucks that I've worked so hard to get fit and strong, and then won't be able to do any exercise for weeks and weeks afterwards, and will probably be bent over shuffling along like a 90 -year old. Wonder if it feels much different from a hysterectomy.
Edi, you sound like the Duracell bunny advertisement, dusting and cleaning the way you do. Can you come over here, please? What do you charge per hour? So glad you obviously feel so good! Keeping shed man in my prayers. A cruise to Ireland and Scotland? Just what the dr ordered! Have been begging my DH to go on a cruise, but he says to him it will feel like he is locked up in a shopping mall with many other people, and he can't get away. Yes, he will indeed be like a caged tiger - lol. My great wish is to see the Panama Canal from a ship, but I will probaby have to recruit some girlfriends or my DD to do that with. Websister is right about the redness being at its worst a week after rads stop. Then it clears up quickly. I used an over-the-counter hydrocortizone cream that you can buy in any pharmacy. DD and DH are at a bird auction as I'm typing here, and he is bidding on some laying hens. He and his dad finished the chicken coop, and it is awaiting its first tenants - lol. DD read about a kind of hen that lays an average of 320 eggs per year . . . sooo glad I'm not one of those chickens.
Websister, enjoy your busy day today - do you ever have a not busy day? You are downright amazing, and you simply do not let bc intrude on your life. How is Mom settling in?
Movie, Dakota, Carla and all the others, wishing you a wonderful Saturday.
-
Hi ladies -
At soccer now lacrosse is next !!! Thankfully things have calmed down here. We are about 45 minutes from Boston but couldn't stop watching everything!!! Glad to hear from everyone. Hope you all have a great weekend !!! Love you sisters can't wait to meet someday !!! -
Hello to you beautiful Bellies....my FAVORITE place to be on these boards! I am making my 96 year old mother ( with Alzheimer's ) wait for a few whilst I post here.....
Spoke to Nihahi on DIEP thread......but wanted to say here how relieved I was to hear from you.....I was getting worried, and I hope that as you read this you are starting to see some improvement to those issues......DIEP is a hard surgery.....I liken it to being run over by a semi-truck, which then backs up, and rolls over you again! Slight exaggeration, but......the good news is, you generally see small improvement every day..... Another way to look at it is like a hike.....mostly uphill, with a few flat spots and a little downhill on your way to your destination. Speaking of hikes...when I was having a particularly hard time during the first 3 weeks....I would imagine myself hiking to Iceberg Lake.....the visualization REALLY helped me get over those "speed bumps" on the road to recovery....(I am just a little further down that road than you, is all) You are in my thoughts every day! :-)
Liefie, as you approach your surgery date, take a few minutes every day to work on your abs......it really, REALLY does help! I was pretty flat on top after nursing 4 babies, but had a lovely, custom-made for DIEP, spare tire in just the right location. :-) My new girls are bigger, AND much perkier than my originals. They took some getting used to! Very happy now!
Traii, the general rule for DIEP recovery is 6 weeks, but some of the ladies on the DIEP board have gone back to work in 4 weeks. I had some complications, 7-8" of my abdominal sutures "blew out" b/c of infection. ( I was in surgery for 18 hours b/c one of my flaps failed due to restricted blood flow-I have tiny blood vessels-PS didn't want to lose it, so he opened me back up and fished around for another blood vessel in my abdomen to fix the problem. It was successful, but 18 hours is a LONG time to be opened up-you are asking for an infection like staph to settle in....) so......MY recovery was about 8 weeks, b/c I had to get re-sutured after the opened area healed up.....feeling great now, and my incision looks perfect....I think the PS did a little revising while in there sewing me back up. :-). Even with all the problems, I would do it again in a heart beat...... However, I am 58, and am not chasing after young children.....I may not have chosen this if I was. Keeping my fingers crossed that you get a date soon!
Dakota, you busy, busy lady! And gorgeous, too! Can't believe you are so busy so soon after surgery! Be careful, okay? Reading about all you do makes ME tired!
Websister, if you are considering DIEP, the wait may be worth it. I hope you are lucky and someone cancels their appt. and you get in sooner. It IS a big decision.....I feel lucky, I had a 2-2 1/2 month wait, it could have been 4, but someone cancelled, so I was able to take their spot. How is Mom? Settling in? Stressful caring for aging parents, isn't it? To be honest, I feel that a substantial amount of the depression I sometimes deal with has to do with that stress, and not my "illness". Oh well, won't last forever, will it? Take care.
Edi.....you are one lucky lady! Can I squeeze in your suitcase along with Scottiee? I want to visit Scotland so much! Please send pics for me to enjoy vicariously, okay? And keep your house clean.....you NEVER know when I might show up on your front step! XO. Forgot to say how excited I am that you are making lovely cakes! Pics please! Hope the rads burn subsides.....does not sound fun. :-(. Besides, it cannot be allowed to interfere with your growing cake business!
To all of you lovely, wonderful cyber-sisters......have a good day! (((Hugs)))
Namaste and God bless -Jackie -
Wow Gorgeous Gals,
Thank you , thank you, for answer on burnt boob
feel reassured no end.
just a bit scarey, will follow all advice and stop panicking lol.
Had a busy day, started loft didn't know I had so many Xmas decs ! took and hour to sort and label them.
Came down for lunch and sun shining, garden beckoning. I have taken to spray painting some of my garden ornaments silver. Got on mask and gloves and let rip.
really pleased with results.

Laundry drying in the fresh air, such bliss.Scottie, lovely to hear from you. We dock at greenock on return from Mull and Tobermory. Will kiss the ground for you.xx
Websister, bit of pink will be fine, just the burnt steak look not so pretty.
Good luck with recon, hope list not too long.

You will make that cruise, new girls proudly displayed.
Are Mum and Dad still away ?xxLiefie, you will be great after surgery as you are such a good girl re exercising.
My DH would never cruise, similar comments to your DH. Last year he came on one and flippin loved it !!
I used to sooo enjoy cruising with my BF and friends, have told him will still go with them as well.
Chickens ! poor things must have sore bottoms.
Take care xxDakota, Glad you and chicks are safe and sound xx

Nihahi asked Movie and me to repeat here what she posts on the Diep 2013 thread, because she does not have the energy to post on both. She had massive swelling issues in hospital, but that is much better now. Her DH rented her a wheeled walker this morning, and now her low back is feeling much better thanks to that.
Good night, everybody!
-
Hi Edi feckin knackered !!
Liefie thought of you today, GARDEN CENTRE ARGH !! Our sunday paper had a voucher for 12 violas and six pansises FREE so off we go.
DH tales ages to pick anything, after fxxxxxg about for half and hour we have two trays. Next alpines for rockery, if he doesn't like what is in the selection he swops them !!!! thought I might be posting from the Nick, / prison ) Perhaps would get a rest there lol.Came home gave him a tray with Bowl of soup, bread and butter and nice yoghurt for afters.
Go out to nuke my soup and hear a yell. Dash back and the silly sod has dropped sky remote into said soup !!! I grab it and wrap in paper towel, DH says dont wash it for fxxxs sake I think he thinks bc has hit my brain.
He also managed to cut himself on back gate bringing plants into back garden. Think i will be a Nun in my next life.
Have looked on diep 2013 and caught up with Nihahi's progress, poor love has been through it. Glad it is improving and wheeled walker sounds great idea. Her DH is a little love.
Traii, hope you are having a restful weekend amd DS being a good boy. DH too .xxMovie you are a star, you will get our Diep girls through this. Namaste dear sister xx
DH spreading compost everywhere ! had the bin for years and never used anything in it.
Beautiful compost now being used !!
Oh poo hear him coming in, blessings and love and healing to all xxxxxxxxxxx -

This is posted on f/b from our Carla, she has some cracking posts. Thanks beautiful xx
-
Love it Carla !!!
-
Edi, such fun to read about you and DH's antics, and visits to the Garden Centre! Hopefully that remote will perform better after being nourished by the soup - lol. Still remember the laughs we had years ago when one of my fellow teachers, a shy young woman, accidentally dropped her pocket calculator in the toilet on a bathroom break during exam time at the school. It was just at the stage when she needed it most to add up marks, and process students' grades. She never lived that one down.
DH has a new trick for getting me to go with him to garden centres. He invites me to drive somewhere nice with him, no plants/nurseries on the itinerary. Then all of a sudden he nonchalantly pulls into a nursery/garden centre to just 'quickly' get something. . . But he's been so good/kind/loving to me, and so patient last year when we went dress shopping for DD's wedding that I don't have the heart to call him on it, so he gets away with it every time - lol. Men and remotes . . . can't remember how many times DH has dived into a swimming pool or lake with his cellphone in his pocket, and every time he has to get a new one. Even went water skiing once last summer with the phone in his pocket! Phones don't like water so much. So the last time he wrecked a cellphone, he took out insurance in case he did it again. Maybe I should also take out insurance against my forgetfulness - the company will get rich off me! Hahahaaa!
Just came home from church where I was the only musician this morning. Felt a bit lonely, but fortunately had three people up there helping along the singing. For the last song the very young guest pastor, not a day older than 28, played the drums with us. He is an excellent drummer, and we rocked that church. Felt soooo good.
-
Hi Liefie, remote wasnt working so DH not happy, we do have two thank goodness ever since he "lost" last one. He took off back and battery compartment full of scotch broth !! After much wiping out with paper towel it works .
Just been upstairs tidying and sorting laundry, " what are you doing " DH says, freakin fed up! like a small child. I do not watch boxing which he was glued to so thought I could catch up on few jobs.
Can,t wait for tomorrow. Rads at 9am, interview for WRVS after. Hand massage if someone there to do it. Nice lunch in hospital cafe. Then off to reflexology. Whole morning of peace with no nagging lol.See you all in the morning xx
-
HI Bellies......popping in to say "HI" to you all.....
Edi-you never fail to make me laugh......would love to be a fly on the wall when your DH acts up>>.you paint the most vivid pictures...I can see it all play out in my mind! I wish MY DH cared as much about our home as yours does......mine is a workaholic....surprised he took time off when I had my DIEP surgery....

Leifie-your DH sounds great, for the same reason Edi's does.....he's interested in the yard...my yard looks terrible, because I was responsible for it for YEARS....DH didn't give a s**t. So for the past 3 years I have done absolutely nothing....I don't think he's even noticed.....it's a bummer. Probably why I hike so much....I have to get away from it! DH is a hard worker, but he's NOT a a multi-tasker by any means! :-( I am glad that you have been working on your abs so much....it's the best thing I did for myself. Also, work on squats.....strong thighs are good, too. I have a feeling you will sail through this, and climbing the stairs will help you recover, for sure. If you do yoga ( I think you do) do it right up to the say if you can.....I still have not gone back.....getting closer, but the idea of doing upward dog and cobra as well as some of hte twisty poses hurts my ab incision!
Love you ladies! talk to you all tomorrow!
Namaste and God bless - Jackie
-
P.S. Nihahi says it's a toss up between her back and boredom! :-)
-
Hi Ladies....Movie and Liefie, thanks for keeping me "here" for a few days.
I've tried to go back and catch up with reading what went on while I was "away", but couldn't remember what I'd read, from one post to the next, so have given that idea up.
Alien, now well and truly history!!!!! Turns out it was being even more evil than the dr.s suspected, so even though it has been a big surgery, I know that for me, it was the right move. No more defrosting peas on the chest. Well, almost, no more, but this time it's ice packs on the low back. I'll get there though.
Edi...I do remember something about you deciding to volunteer at your hospital....you would be a real gift to anyone there, I hope you do it. Sorry to hear about shedman, though, doesn't sound good unfortunately.
3:00 am here, can't sleep, but no more brain cells awake either, so better end here.
Missed you all, thanks for the support.
-
Carla....You'll make the choice that is right for you. I am going to be 63 this summer. I don't think age is as much a factor, as what we each individually feel we need to do, to put the loss of a breast behind us, emotionally. Unless you are planning on immediate recon (which I don't think you are) there is no time limit on making your decision. ((((X))))
-
Nihahi great to hear from you ..yeh be gone the aliens! Hope you are healing well and DH and DD are being good nurses!!
Liefie and movie kept us up to date and i jumped on the other thread to see how you were going.
Oh btw...no way you're 63.....did you photo edit your pics!!!
Take care, prayers for quick healing and recovery so that you are back on those mountains taking more glorious pics for us xx -
Edi...u truely are a bloody hoot....dh and remote ...too funny!!
Enjoy your morning ... rads finished by now if you got in on time 1030am over there? Think Melbourne now 12hrs exact ahead of UK.
Enjoy your lunch x
Liefie...im sure you were amazing at church..glad you enjoyed yourself. If only we could hear you sing
x
Hope everyone is doing well. -
Nihahi - so good to hear from you. Wondering what you meant about alien being even more evil than you knew?
Edi - glad remote was salvaged
. Hope you have had a restful day today complete with hand massage and I agree with everyone else, you will make a great volunteer, the people there will be so fortunate to meet you
Liefie - love DH's new strategy re: garden centers and I would love to have been there to hear the drum/piano ensemble
Movie - you are so good to give support and encouragement for the DIEP ladies - stick around
!
My DH isn't that great around the house or yard when it comes to projects - lots of enthusiasm (and money) put in at the beginning but if not quickly accomplished the projects can get abandoned. Lots of other redeeming qualities so I'll keep him around
Nice to have four adult sons now to step in and work with him, helps so much
Traii, Dakota, Bearcub, Carlads, Caitlin and everybody else - sending hugs and love, you are in my thoughts
My husband is home today so we are going to go bring my Mom's bed back here so they can move the hospital bed into her room. I have all her things in the basement so will try to see where we can put the bed amongst all the rest
My ES family coming for weekend so need to get everything ready for that. Baby shower for 3rd son's partner on Saturday. A few lunches and teas in between and the week will fly by!
Take care everyone! -

That is how I feel today lol xx
-
Websister, caught up with your blog this morning. It was particularly interesting to read about being healed and being cured, that those are two totally different issues, and that it is possible to be be cured, but not healed, and vice versa. Very interesting perspective, and food for thought. You have a busy week ahead, but it all seems like fun stuff - enjoy!
Traii, you don't want to hear me sing, trust me. I croak like a frog, really, and have 'lost' whatever voice I had over the years from always playing, and never singing.
Nihahi, you are coming around now, hey? How does the tummy feel? That's my biggest worry. Also complained at the gym just now how it will suck afterwards to feel so weak all over again. The nature of the beast, I guess. So very happy to hear about every little bit of progress that you are making, and that you feel so positive about having this surgery, Helps me greatly - thank you!! And I agree that you don't look 63 at all.
Moviemaniac, I gave your message re exercise to the trainer at the gym this morning. We've been working on everything you mentioned, and this morning the Amazon pushed me extra hard, probably after your advice. I'm still panting from all the squats, leg raises and planking . . . LOL! Also decided to work in an extra yoga class per week over the next four weeks before the surgery. Can't hurt. It is a gloriously beautiful and sunny day here, 20 degrees, and I will take the dog for a long walk later. Will try to make up now for the time I'll be housebound after DIEP.
Edi, by now the nice 'getaway' and treats that you had planned for this Monday is over, and you and DH are hopefully sound asleep. What have you got planned for tomorrow to get some alone time? My DH is also on his way home for the afternoon. Was working in ER all night, and is really supposed to catch some sleep, but nothing will keep him inside on a day like this. All those plants that he bought on his nursery trips these past weeks need to get planted now, greenhouse needs cleaning, moss on the driveway needs to be removed, so he has a lot of jobs to keep him occupied. That means he will leave me alone, and I can just pop out now and then with a cup of tea/coffee to show some interest, and make him happy. Maybe I'll even help him with the planting - it is simply too beautiful outside to be stuck in the house.
Carla, Dakota, Bearcub, Caitlin, Benny and the others, all the best to you!
-
Edi, sorry you feel like this, but it is still funny - lol. Hope it will get better soon, whatever it is. HUGS!!!
-
Bellies-not quite as warm as it is at Liefies's house, but sunny and not a cloud in sight here! Yay! If I was into doing yard work-I would be out working in the yard for sure!
Edi-I totally get your last post......that is me and my attitude a great deal of the time these day! :-( I AM SENDING YOU A GREAT BIG CYBER((((hug)))) right now!
Websister, I am catching up on your blog later today, just popped in to say "hello" to all of my favorite ladies on the threads. Hope things are "looking up" for all of you.
Namaste and God Bless - Jackie
-
A better day today, as I am now DRAIN FREE!!!!!! Actually had a lie down in my own bed for a nap, which my back absolutely loved....might try to start there tonight, and keep the recliner as backup if needed.
Liefie....you're gonna be OK! I recognize "me" of a few weeks ago, in your messages. Don't think the incredible work you've done to get fit has gone to waste.....it will soooooo help your body get through the surgery. I agree with Movie....quad strength is important. I listed some things I have found helpful at home on the Diep thread...thinking of how to help you. I did stairs with physio before leaving the hospital. No real problem, just expect to be slower, and one step at a time.
Websister..I'm out of the loop, but sounds like Mom is going back to the same facility???? Hope all is well. I share the
of storing other people's "stuff" in your place! The alien.....apparently the force of the capsular contracture forcing the implant against my ribs had actually caused my ribs to "bow" inward. The PS said it was one of the worst cases of that complication, he had seen. He also said, that it likely had quite an impact on my entire shoulder musculature (duh....I figured that one!). Edi, I just love your posts. You are so close to being done, done, done. ????hair dye....thought you were going for the Annie Lennox look???
Traii.....get some of that energy back girl....! Have you got your date yet for surgery? Lots of women are completely happy with implants, so hope I haven't caused you any second thoughts.
Dakota.....as always, you are amazing.
Movie....we are soul sisters...one of these days, I just know we'll meet on a trail.
Later ladies.
-
Websister-loved, loved, LOVED your last post......so sweet, and so true! You really are an inspiration to me-you show such quiet courage in the face of BC....(this could be said of every woman I have met on this thread, by the way......) I have granddoggies too (and 5 GKs) love 'em all! :-)
Liefie...good girl! Keep working those quads....was so grateful I had the first time I had to get up from my hospital bed and use the porcelain throne.....Nihahi mentioned a portable potty chair...another option is a seat lifter that fits on top of a regular toilet seat....my mother had one from her open-heart surgery, so I pulled that out and used it....it added about 10" of height to the seat...really, really helped! Can't believe how fast the time is going....seems like just yesterday that Nihahi was getting excited about her surgery 2 months away.....and here she is.....2 weeks on the "other side". I feel the same way she does-this surgery was the very best option for me....SO happy with the "adopted girls"....(but nervous about stage 2, which may be coming up sooner than I am prepared for!) You know Nihahi and I will be here cheering you on!
Nihahi-so proud of you......you are really doing well! Don't overdo, but keep walking, walking, and walking. Use the walker as long as you feel the need for it...your back will ease up little by little...I STILL have some abdominal tightness at 3+ months! You and I (and Liefie) have to meet and hike in Glacier.....Iceberg Lake is calling our names! :-) Hope you get some rest with the Flexeril......fingers crossed!
Edi-hope you don't mind if I hijack your F**ket list.....(actually, I think You stole it from Me!) You are a ray of sunshine for me.....love you to pieces. Stay strong...you have a cruise awaiting you! (And I will be in your suitcase...please find a handsome Scotsman with great legs in a Kilt who doesn't mind being shipped to the USA.....I could use some arm candy!
) Hope DH isn't causing too much trouble for you! How is cake business coming? I would use you for special cakes if you lived a little closer..... they look yummy! Traii-hope you are well, and family is good.....any movement on surgery date?
Dakota....busy with sports/kids/ and still working full-time.....and you look gorgeous! Hope you are healing and feeling good. Glad the nightmare in Boston has subsided.....
Carla, Caitlin, Scottiee and all.....have a good evening/night....
Namaste and God bless - Jackie

Woke at 4 am,had been in bed since 9.30 pm so 6 1/2 hrs pretty average.
Sorry about fxxk it list yesterday but really yuk afternoon. So tired and boob throbbing. They gave me gel filled pads and these have worked.
Had rads, went up for bloods as first part of last chemo today !!
Flippin hand massager didnt show so had toast and coffee instead.
Needed to kill almost an hour til reflex appointment, she lives right by hospital so not worth going home.
Trotted out into sunshine and climbed into my little car, rolled up coat as pillow and had a lovely sleep. DH wakes me via mobile phone just in time for reflex.
Lovely session, she is also a very dear friend and cuddled me while I sobbed my soul out.
As she is also a survivor, understands me soooo well.
Cam home and DH made me lunch, then splat Edi unconcious again.
Woke in time to make dinner, made soda bread for first time, topped slices with Irish rarebit, same as welsh but with stout added. Puts it all on plate with fresh tomatoes gives to DH and he didn't like it !!!
Something out of freezer or tin tonight lol
After chemo at 10am today got 5 hrs until rad so DH is taking me for lunch ( or else !! ) making a day of it.
He shocked my socks off yesterday, he has bought huge tins of gorgeous biscuits/cookies for the rad and chemo staff plus thank you cards from him to them for looking after me. I was going to do that anyway but he beat me to it.Movie, if you were a fly on my wall you would probably be painted over lol.
DH is a busy little bee, but right now just wish he would go and play golf.He has given up on making his own water feature in the garden/yard found one on e.bay instead, less swearing and crashing about as all complete.
wish you were nearer could send him to sort your yard.
Thanks for cyber hug, needed that and one right back to you. xxNihahi, you sound amazing glad rotten drains all gone, nothing like your own bed,
