Now you know....LOL! I'm so glad I've been enlightened! >>>>>>>>>>>>must rely on their unique intelligence!

Only by rejecting the violent and embracing the warm and fuzzy can we truly be psychotic.
-
It's a mad, mad, mad, mad thread!

-
You see, stockpiling weapons, canned goods, alcohol and conspiracy theories (yes, some people stockpile conspiracy theories) leads to enlightenment AND is the sign of a healthy, paranoid American.
Looking at flowers, kittens, and puppies? You may as well turn yourself in.
-
I'll join Craze-E in a jacket with wrap-around-arms, as long as I can WEAR the hat she's designing for us (think colander) and I can paint warm & fuzzies on my jacket....
-
Here's your warm fuzzy, Sun.

They are processing the fertilizer plant as a crime scene initially because they have to do it that way in case there was a crime. Nobody (including the authorities) thinks that it was a crime scene. In addition, if there was criminal negligence in failure to obey worker protection or environmental protection laws, it will make it easier to bring it to a U.S. attorney or local DA for criminal prosecution. As soon as they have established that it is not a intentional criminal incident, they will turn it over to OSHA, Chemical Safety Board and perhaps EPA investigators.
Psychotic, hunh? Again, reminds me of parakeets talking to themselves in mirrors.
Boston -I feel very sorry for the family of those brothers. I saw the uncle speaking to the press ... Poor guy, he was beside himself with shame and rage and grief and embarrassment. How terrible to find out that your own family murdered innocents for no reason and how terrible to realize that their actions will make life even more difficult for millions of people in the U.S. -- Chechnyans, Muslims, immigrants in general and brown people in particular.
42 days to retirement!

retirement - oh I am SOOOOO jealous. 6 months, 22 days.....
about those psychotic parakeets...

Thanks for explaining why the Texas site would be investigated as a crime scene. I like all the clarity I can get in my totally messed up world!!!

This lioness is crazier than any of the very sane sisters here!
Chickadee - be very, very booooring.
Blue, that little foal is too adorable!
E - any news on a treatment plan/biopsy report?
While you folks are dealing with REAL spine problems, such as mets, I am off to buy a shoulder sling for my pithy sports injuries!!

I agree with this guy's comments vis a vis Governor Rick Perry:
But according to Perry Texas' economy is booming (not fertilizer plants blowing up booming, but you understand). If Texas' economy is doing so well, why does it need that evil Federal aid to rebuild one fertilizer plant, one 50 unit apartment complex, one middle school, a few houses and one nursing home?
Particularly considering that Texas' entire Senate delegation - (Republican Minority Whip) John Cornyn & Ted Cruz -- and 8 of their Congressional representatives - Mike Conaway, Bill Flores (in whose district West, TX lies)), Louie Gohmert, Kenny Marchant, Randy Neugebauer, Mac Thornberry, Randy Weber & Roger Williams -- voted against relief for victims of hurricane Sandy: a disaster which affected millions of people in multiple States, left 40,000 homeless (some for months during the winter) and more than 120 dead & caused 30-50 billion dollars in economic losses.
As Bill Flores said when voting against Sandy Aid, “It depends on the nature and the timing of needs. If we had a disaster in Texas and federal funding was required immediately and required by this vote, I would have voted yes. That’s not the case, though. This is a different situation."
Hypocritical self-serving liars is what they all are. Let the aid to Texas slowly dribble in and to the same relative level as aid to Sandy victims was dealt out. Especially considering that the Congressman from the district where the explosion occurred doesn't believe in such Federal aid for disaster victims, unless it affects his chances of being reelected.
Fortuneately for Texans, our POTUS is too gracious and principled to play this game:
“President Obama called from Air Force One as he was en route to Boston… We greatly appreciate his call, and his gracious offer of support, of course, and the quick turnaround of the emergency declaration that will be forthcoming, and his offer of prayers.”

That looks like one of my cats...minus the tree trunk of course.

Biopsy scheduled for April 25 at 8am. I have no idea whether it's a needle or open biopsy.
-
Here's my cat-tree:

-
She's bigger than Wendel and Lilah put together!
-
She's almost as big as my horse!
-
-
How often is she mistaken for a big fat fluffy furry cushion?
-

Athena and E
-
She's not fat. She's big-boned. And furry.
And that is a HORRIFYING picture of a lion on a horse! Look at that horse's face!
-
I know - the horse looks terrified, but it was the only great BIG cat and horse picture I could find. (Sorry, E)
-
That's okay, GG! It just took me aback.
