Wonder if he's badass!

He is most definitely badass. ;-)
Lady E. I like it!

Waving 'nice to meet you' to juliaanna and patti ...
Good info gardengumby ... I always think of Arnold when they start that. Wasn't the Republican Terminator supposed to 'fix' everything.
You know you're getting old when you look at Belinda's pictures and immediately go to checking out the cute kitties

-
Oops, forgot to say Hi and Welcome to Julianna and Patti!

GG - thanks for defending California Democrats. For those that think California is "f'd up" because of Democrats, they don't understand one major item that we lived through in this state. ENRON, KEN LAY, and VP CHENEY. Enron defrauded California out of billions of dollars during the energy crisis. Recall, Ken Lay, the head of Enron - GW Bush's best friend and in cahoots with Dick Cheney. Coruption with a capital C. It all resulted in a recall of our Democratic governor and getting that Arnold Schz guy, who during the recall was seen meeting with Ken Lay at the Beverly Hotel in SoCal, planning their coup, ofcourse. California has never fully recovered from this bilking.
Welcome Patti and so nice to see you again Juilianna - waving hi.
Glenna and Chickadee - so they keep you on continual chemo?? What does remission mean, then?
Enjoyful - ok, I want to know more about your brother's promise. His CV?? I'm likely to latch on to such a thought - wishful thinker that I am.

THE PERFECT HUSBAND
Several men are in the locker room of a golf club. A cellular phone on a bench rings and a man engages the hands-free speaker function and begins to talk. Everyone else in the room stops to listen.
MAN: "Hello"
WOMAN: "Hi Honey, it’s me. Are you at the club?"
MAN: "Yes."
WOMAN: "I’m at the shops now and found this beautiful leather coat. It’s only $2,000; is it OK if I buy it?"
MAN: "Sure, go ahead if you like it that much."
WOMAN: "I also stopped by the Lexus dealership and saw the new models. I saw one I really liked."
MAN: "How much?"
WOMAN: "$90,000."
MAN: "OK, but for that price I want it with all the options."
WOMAN: "Great! Oh, and one more thing… I was just talking to Janie and found out that the house I wanted last year is back on the market. They’re asking $980,000 for it."
MAN:"Well, then go ahead and make an offer of $900,000. They’ll probably take it. If not, we can go the extra eighty-thousand if it’s what you really want."
WOMAN: "OK. I’ll see you later! I love you so much!"
MAN: "Bye! I love you, too."
The man hangs up. The other men in the locker room are staring at him in astonishment, mouths wide open.
He turns and asks, "Anyone know who’s phone this is?" -

Hi Everyone!
Welcome to the new ladies ... it's great to have you here.
Enjoyful ... I saw that man's winker bouncing up and down in the viedo. It looked painful.
Blue ... Back to a comment you made this morning about being "shokked." It got me curious so I read for a bit at the darkside website. OMG .. I laughed right out loud reading the comment about how lazy liberals love pedophiles, child molesters and sexual deviants. Too damn funny.
Gumby ... I was aware that California is mostly a Republican state. I used to live in southern California and was always so disappointed by the governors that were elected.
It's a beautiful day here today .. lower 60's and the sun is shining!
hugs to all,
Bren

There is nothing on the Mirror that says anything about liberals, lazy or otherwise, loving pedophiles, child molesters, or sexual deviates! That's a complete untruth BinVa!
Paula -
Paula, Bren wasn't talking about the mirror thread.
Edited to avoid conflict.
-
Think the mods have asked us several times not to bring up other web sites - not aiming this at you rr.
-
I should possibly delete my comment then but I just got rankled at Bren being accused of stating something untrue. What do you think, Athena and others?
-
RR-You could just leave it at "Paula, Bren wasn't talking about the mirror thread." and take the rest out. It's true-she wasn't talking about the mirror thread. No need to expand further.
Mary
-
Thanks, Mary. I think that's for the best.
-
Well, since RR you only posted a minute ago.....this is what I think. Before making accusations perhaps it would have been a kinder thing to do a pm.....or just come here and ask in a polite way. We have gotten on quite well with Paula and she has always been welcome here so I'm confused that she would handle things that way since she has shown such a wonderfully diplomatic side for some time.

True Jackie, I think that's what upset me so much.
-
It upsets me as well.

Well no one can junk talk Michael Jackson without a remark from me! I don't care where they post. He WAS still a child not a child molester, and anyone that thinks otherwise has no knowledge of the term "gentle soul"! Even his nemesis stated it.
-
I know Bren, I was shokked! hahahahahhaa!
-
what Jackie said, but I'd still prefer: DON'T LIKE, DON'T READ. how sad, to think that anything critical, would be in relation to one's own "friendship thread" - bleah. And Bren is the LAST LAST person to stir trouble....I'm tired of people who don' tlike what is written on this thread, coming to make nasty comments.
Lady Enjoy: massage, massage, massage. A physiotherapist who specializes in hands, gave me several treatments that were very beneficial, and exercise to keep the thumb joint "moving" - and the BEST BEST BEST BEST of all, Acupuncture. No joint pain anymore, no back pain, just feel so, so GOOD - acupuncture. The best combination with massage.
Blue - fabulous pictures, thank you....
-
Also wanted to say......I also loved Athena's story. I think animals have a kindness that a great deal of us living in a modern world would have a magnificent struggle with a large part of the time. Animals are more in tune with their senses so can feel another's pain much easier and also can respond without preconceived parameters. If they are in...it is all the way. It is one of the joys I get from my furry friends here. Un-conditional love is one of the greatest experiences ever.....especially after a hard day out in the world.
I also must say...the daisies. Pure love to me. Love them so much they were the only flowers I had in my first wedding. I had a white dress ( no snickers please ) and yellow daisies and my maid of honor, a pale yellow dress and white daisies. Actually since I'm 67 you can't snicker all you want. That first wedding was a long time ago -- 47 years ago. Time sure flies when your having fun.
I read the California piece and wasn't sure what to make of it since I lived there for 25 years and was seldom happy with the state government. Now I'm much more sure why I felt like that.

Blue, please tell me that picture's not for real.

It's real! Guinness World Book of Records.
Meet George! He weighs over 245lbs. Guinness World Record Holder for Tallest Living Dog & Tallest Dog Ever.

Blue, that Great Dane is a huge boy. Mine is not quite as big. Here is a really funny video. Enjoy!
