Glenna - For life? Does this mean chemo, break, chemo, etc.?  Taxol was hard on me, but I did get dose dense.  My feet are still neuropathic, but I can now walk, atleast.  I never want to see that drug again.  Hope you don't have too much longer.  I thought they could also reduce the benedryl once they determined you weren't having an allergic reaction?

One of my cats chases her tail.  Usually in the evenings, out on the grass.  Honestly, I think they know it's their tail, but they must momentarily suspend reality, just to have fun.  It's hilarious.

Kam, when you are stage IV and run out of hormonals, then yes it's chemo until it doesn't work anymore. I haven't wrapped my head around it and I've just started down the chemo forever road too. Cancer sucks.

Sending hugs as well to Chick and Glenna......and anyone else in this whole universe who  is having their experience.

    For the furry cat lovers:

One of the reasons I love cats....no excuses, no sorrys --- they are who they are and if you don't accept everything about them, they just raise their cute little noses just a minute bit higher and walk on.

I've always loved cats - but can no longer be around them.  My allergies are too fierce.

    Chickadee & Glenna - don't like your answers darn it.  It's hard for me to know what to say other than I wish, somehow, I could ease what you have to endure. {{{{and to all that suffer this disease}}}}

Over the rainbow would be a heckofalot better than living in this state.  Woe betide the woman suffering an ectopic pregnancy.  From Addicting Info:

Kansas Republicans are gearing up to pass one of the most sweeping and dangerous pieces of anti-abortion legislation in America. The GOP dominated Senate gave initial approval to HB 2253 earlier this week and are preparing the measure for final passage.

The provisions in the bill include a ban on tax breaks for abortion providers, a ban on public schools receiving assistance or materials from employees of abortion providers in sex education courses, a measure declaring that life begins at conception and that the unborn have legal rights, and a requirement that forces doctors to lie to women that abortion causes breast cancer.

Worse yet, the bill does not include any exceptions for rape victims and every amendment offered to add these exceptions have been rejected by Republicans, who then went out of their way to belittle rape victims by referring to the amendments as “gotcha amendments.”

“These amendments are little gotcha amendments,” Senate Majority Leader Terry Bruce, a Hutchinson Republican, said, his voice rising,” the Lawrence Journal World reports. “I’m getting a little irritated at it.”

It is disgusting. When we were deciding about whether to move here, the rightwing wackos were a big concern. But our attraction to the money was even bigger. So here we are, sigh. I cope by living in my own little cocoon and ferretting out like minded people.

Glenna and Chickadee - we're here for you lovely ladies - big hugs from Oz.

Bren - love your pic with Brenda.

I miss my Poppy, but have Annie's cat Dali as a replacement. He's black as the night and a big sook - loves my cuddles.

Baby Nicholas really loves his Nana - actually reached out for me to take him from his mother's arms yesterday.

SIL still in hospital. Quite a few stresses yesterday - he says the hospital will let him out for a home visit but DD isn't ready for that yet - he still hasn't acknowledged he did anything wrong or that he is unwell. It's not safe for him to come here yet. The shrink didn't mention that he would be allowed out at all yet and in fact said to only visit him a couple of times a week and keep it short and light. Seems there are 2 versions of what is going on. She hopes to speak to the shrink again today.

On a lighter note, we're having lunch with Chrissyb.

Did some baby clothes shopping yesterday for my little man. He is SO gorgeous and has really taken to me.

    Susie

Bren - you both look wonderful.

Can't remember who posted the Lawrence O'Donnel pic & quote - but I LOVE HIM.

Kam, I too have become MUCH less "political" as I've retired, too much FUN stuff to do, and realize there is a younger generation to take up the "arms" I put down....doing quite well too, we have them to thank for Obama, and interesting to see the PACS gowing to support HRC in 2016.

SUNNY and in the 50's here today.  Put out some of my garden furniture, that can't survive the amount of snow we get. Still a lot of snow on the ground, but the robins are finding open ground too.  Seems strange to have DST sunsets while there is still so much snow, BUT I'LL TAKE IT!!!!

Just came home from 'house shopping'.  We did drive buys in a community of bungalows about 1 1/2 hours from our current home.  We will be going through 8 of them on Saturday.  Lots of picture taking!
