E, on FB. I will share so you can like and get them too!

I saw some landscape like that on the Olympic Peninsula. Stunning!
-
Yesterday may have been April Fool's day but this is no joke. The offer on our farm went firm. I can hardly believe it. We attended a concert last night (Don Henley) and felt like we were living in dream.
E, please tell me that your move went smoothly and with minimum stress. Funny that we are happy to be leaving our farm and you are so happy to move to one. We do have a miniature paint to find a home for.

-
Great news Pip! Hooray for having an excellent way to celebrate with the concert.
-
Congratulations, Pip!!!
The move went very smoothly and, other than my back going wonky, with very little stress. As long as DirecTV guy gets TV hooked up before the first pitch, I will count this a success.
The beautiful thing about this farm is that we're not responsible for any maintenance beyond our lawn. The owners take care of the barn, the fencing, dragging the fields, all that stuff.

Hubby is going to look at a piece of property in Port Townsend, WA today. So, we'll see.....

-
Yay Pip !!! Real estate can be so tricky but now and then you get no-non-sense sellers and buyers and it just goes well. We were that way with out first house......we knew what we wanted and we did not put up barriers during negotiations and neither did the seller who just wanted it done and over with as well.
E....ah, the best of all worlds more or less for you too. Sorry about the back --- now that I've had mine ( thank gosh only a muscle ) trip me up once.....I'll never, but never question what anyone might feel when they talk about a backache. It was horrid not to be comfortable anywhere. Nice though to know that muscles usually heal as this one did. Whew !!!!
Sounds marvelous that you don't have the headaches of an entire farm and can have your precious fellar' right with you.

Ok...I was going to find some pretty flowers or a nice picture of a farm, but saw this and :

People who are so happily ignorant that they refuse to believe they're ignorant?
-
Jackie,
I have three ruptured disks in my lower back and a couple in my neck. My back doesn't go wonky often but when it does it's BAD. Thankfully, this episode is quickly resolving!
-
E!!!! Be nice to your back!! I have a herniated disk in my lower back and a disintegrating one in my neck. Those cause enough problems. I can't imagine how painful 5 ruptured disks would be.
-
They're okay most of the time. When I do something stupid like moving furniture and boxes, the ruptured disks remind me of my stupidity with bolts of lightning pain.
-
E - Be kind to your back. Just hate it when I can't do what I used to do.
-
-
E...that arrangement sounds great. Farm land is a lot of work just to keep it up. Sorry about the back. I know my dh will have to yell at me because I tend to overdo too. I should listen to him more.

-
E and all others in pain, hoping you get relief soon!
Good to hear about the happy home/farm sellers and buyers, for both you and our economy!

"Georgia Is Celebrating Confederate Heritage and History Month? Really?"
"......In the past few days alone, the former KKK member who stomped on Rep. John Lewis died (a few years after apologizing). A KKK march took place in Memphis. And there are suspicions that members of the white supremacist Aryan Brotherhood might have been involved in the killing of a Texas district attorney and his wife. As the great Southern author William Faulkner reminded us: “The past is never dead. It’s not even past.”
The neo-Confederate movement is not large, but it exists. I might not have believed the sickness of slavery revisionism if I hadn’t heard it with my own ears, offered up in the telltale tones of the conspiracy entrepreneur, always selling special knowledge. On reflection, maybe my first impulse was right: the folks who celebrate Confederate History Month are the real April Fools."

ooooohhhh....love that little pussy cat...
Liberal, well, yes, natually, and Often a Knee Jerk Liberal if I need to be

"Good thing there's no such thing as climate change or Mich would have to dredge 58 harbors. Oh,Wait."

-
Pip, congrats on the offer!
E, glad the move went smoothly. Hoping your back feels better!
Still waiting for spring here in the chilly northeast. Hopefully, soon
