Hi Ladies, thanks for "whispering" so as not to wake me! Last night was spent mainly under icepacks on twcbn aka alien boob, and just didn't want to post another insomnia message. Had my pre-op clinic this morning, which really well. My intake nurse turned out to be another person I had worked with in the old days, so all was good. Had a good chat with the anesthesiologist too. The intake nurse was surprised at at little sleep I was getting, and tracked down the internal med Doc, who wrote me a different prescription. So all is not lost yet. The clinic took almost 3 hours, and by the time it was over I had a raging migraine. Came home, felt like a truck had parked on top of me, so have just woken up from a nap on the couch. Hope all have had good days, cross your fingers for a better night, and I'll post more tomorrow. ((((((x))))))
ps....I think Edi is having a long awaited visit from a dear friend.....probably Sergei isn't allowed to post on his own!
-
Hi ladies,
Headache gone, got some sleep, sun is shining. I want to send out HUGE APOLOGIES....for all the insomnia postings lately. I read through some of my last postings, and realized I was turning it into an insomnia thread, which I really didn't mean to do. So, so sorry.....I'm claiming sleep deprivation!!!!!
I've checked my calendar for the coming week, not a single medical thing on it.....WOOHOO! Playtime!!!!!! Hope everyone has weeks like that soon too.
Has anyone checked the Liverpool news.....do we need to start a bail fund for Edi, Sergei and Edi's friend????bet they are up to no good with smiles on their faces!!!
Traii....hope the car repairs weren't too costly. It always amazes me how much they charge for stuff. Now, at the corner gas stations, you have to pay for air, to pump up your tires.....AIR....ARE YOU KIDDING ME.....AIR!!!!!!!
Blue skies and sunshine here this morning..but a touch chilly. Perfect weather for Benny to be out at the barns...hope she is happy and healing. Benny, we would love to hear from you, but if you are just now a reader, not a writer, hope you re doing well!!!!!
Dakota, surely Hockey season will be over by Easter???? Any more tournaments for you? Hope the weather smartens up for that outdoor soccer, or the rain/snow will just ruin your new mascara!!!!!! Congrats on the lashes. Bet you were thrilled to see them, then couldn't stop doing the happy dance!!!!!
Between eyelashes and hairy legs, Edi better start another theme cake when her girlfriend time is over!!!! ((((((x))))) to all.

Hi Im Back
thank you for asking liefie. Just been hectic and so much going on with my oldest ( 60 years ) and dearest friend coming for sleepover last night.
DH goes into overdrive as everything must be justt so.
Snow hit here in almost blizzard conditions as she was due to leave her house. She wanted to come so bad and she heaed off. All was fine and when she had been here a few hours her car about 6 inches thick covering.
We had a gorgeous indian takeaway, I had prepared starters, ie onion bhajis etc then main meal was collected by DH, phone goes and he is sliding down our drive towards the house again !!!! He did this a few weeks ago
for heavens sake don't men ever learn ? ended up in my wooly hat and wellies digging snow away then putting cardboard under wheels so he could back off drive, it worked . Meal was yum, stuck to mild veg Korma which was the nicest I have ever had. Then when all digested we had hot fudge cake and cream.
After good sleep 6 1/2 hours for me
we went to my Bingo pub for a full english with tea and toast. yum. I had booked a table and they had put vase of flowers out as they knew she was my special guest. She has now headed home again as even MORE flippin snow forecast
told you before England rubbish at coping with snow and here we go again.!!!Finished first week of rads yesterday, loving every minute. The young ones who fry me are so sweet and funny. They love the fifty shades of pink comparison.
Dakota, how are things re insect ? hope they are moving on. Have a lovely busy weekend with your chicks.
I too have new eyelashes
Just realised yesterday more and more coming. Didn't lose all of them but they were sparse now almost spider like lol. Hair belting along can now pinch about an inch of white fluff.xLiefie, Your DD sounds like a trmendous hosewife, my ED has 150 x 80 foot garden and when they have had remo done I have said I will buy here the chickens and house etc. She wants the fresh eggs and GD wants some chickens to love lol.
How lovely of your sister to do such kind things for you and leave you with the memories.
Deer deterant sounds poweful stuff
bet Bambi ain't impressed.xJennie, hope you picking up and sleeping better x
Nihahi, I haven't hit the sleep pills yet as don't want to be zombiefied, just do sooo much that I now crash out, seems to work lol.
Pictures really wonderful, thnk you for sharing with us.
Glad DD smiling with her bunny. Hope things improve soon xCaitlin, good to hear from you. The red devil is sooo not funny. Our nurses refer to it as Tizer a really nice soda drink of the exact colour, less scarey than red devil.
Hope no 4 se's ok.
Lovely you have had some Mom time, envy you that xLuvmy. DD and dad for taxes made me laugh, DH says our only come when they want something lol. Enjoy Hockey weekend.
Love your DH and baby goats he is a sweetie.
Enjoy Easter music.
Hope weather doesnt affect your trees.
News pic is a thing on my new camera you turn to a pic of a camera on the dial and up come lots of frames, take your photo and it adds it in. Damn clever and soo easy when you know how, I didn't til DH showed me xMovie hope tummy bug has buggerd off and you are improving.
Hopefully pic of me and BF in pub this morning

Eyes drooping towards a nap, catch all your sisters later. xxxx -
Oops...Edi, we crossed in cyberpspace again...Just want to say how lovely and contented you look with your friend. The weather sounds yucko again for you That she came out anyways, shows how much you mean to her. Hope your gas man has got things sorted out....stay warm, dry, and cozied up. (((((x))))))
-
Nihahi, don't you ever apologize for anything here. That's what we are here for, a shoulder to cry on, sympathetic, non-judgmental sisters who get it, and who can sometimes even give good advice. With that being said, it sounds as if you had some sleep last night? If so, YAYYYY!!!!! It is soooo not fun not getting sleep. Insomnia always turns me into a monster. . .
Edi, you had a grand old time with that friend of yours! Thanks for the photo too, it looks so nice and cozy, and you two are obviously so happy to be together. Nothing like a good GF to spruce up your life, hey? We also had a dump of snow earlier this week which has already melted, thank heaven. My kids in Alberta are all still buried. DD and her DH currently have to park on the road, and trudge through foot-deep snow to their house on the acreage where they live, because the driveway is long, and they have not had the chance to plough it yet. Such fun!
DH is dragging me kicking and screaming along on a roadtrip to Victoria and back today mainly to stop at every nursery on the way to 'see what they have'. Oh my goodness. I'm not a keen gardener, and find nurseries a little boring most of the time, because he spends hours looking at everything while I have to hold his hand. He promised to stop at one of the wineries for lunch. So I'll take a magazine, and resign myself to nursery hopping. The sun is supposed to shine, so it should be a lovely drive. Will probably come back with a load of plants . . . sigh.
-
OOOOh Liefie......can I come on the road trip to the garden centres????? They would be HEAVENLY I would think on VanIsland!!!! I used to have quite a large garden before we moved to our condo. I don't miss the work, but I certainly miss the time spent playing in the dirt, and walking around each day with a cup of coffee, to see what new things were springing up. I still go to garden centres just to walk around, on a cold winter day. I have 8 houseplants, and 2 orchids......my hubby says, no more!!!!
-

This is naughty language and for that I apologise but soooo true.
-
Feel like screaming
I read what I thnk are all posts. Note in my little book, and then post. Check back and find I have missed some !!!!!
Nihahi, glad ou were helped and hope you rest properly soon. I was really pooped last night eyes drooping while chatting. Get into bed and like someone had put an electric wire up my butt. Then thought of your mountains and splat, thanks x
You didnt overdo the insomnia at all, like dear liefie says it changes you and things get a bit irratonal but we love you no matter what
have a lovely week with no app.
Gorgeous new gas man has stripped down boiler,( lucky boiler) and replaced lots of bits at very reasonable cost. Now house cosy as toast and gallons of HOT water, bliss.
His sister has BC too she is only 42 but is fighting hard. I got hug and kiss on cheek when he left
this sxxt has some advantages lol xxLiefie you and DH at nurseries, just like me and DH in DIY warehouses. Lose the will to live after a few hours. Stamp my hoof and demand Late and teacake.
Your lunch sounds much nicer. Hope he decides before you belt him with rolled up mag.LOL
Hope DD nd DH are ok.still snowing here and on for about a week. Rooting wellies out.xx -
Edi...you are one special lady....reading your posts always makes my day. Thanks to you and Liefie for the understanding words. Means more than you can imagine. (actually, you CAN imagine...which makes you even more special)!!!!!!!
Just a lazy day here. Did some errands, read a semi-interesting book, puttered around. But then, a NORMAL, BORING day is what we're aiming for sometimes, isn't it.
Weekends are quiet here on the boards, but that's ok, just wanted to say have a lovely night/day to everyone.
-
Nihahi, next time you can accompany DH on the nursery roadtrip - LOL. You made me smile with that image of you walking around the garden with your coffee. DH does exactly the same, he knows every plant, and gets excited over every new bud or bloom. It gives him intense pleasure, and I do enjoy the garden that he works so hard to have.
Actually today wasn't bad at all. First stop was near Ladismith at a farm market with a nursery, so I spent time in the market while he bought some pansies. Next stop was a nursery outside Duncan where I stayed in the car with my magazine, basking in the sunshine. Didn't buy anything there. Then lunch in Victoria at a pub with an ocean view. We finally got to the main goal of the day, which was a visit with a lovely old couple. He had been cultivating clivias for 33 years, and now wants to sell everything because they are moving. He and DH spent the afternoon in his greenhouse while she and I chatted over coffee and cake inside. Needless to say we came home in a car filled to the rafters with beautiful clivias in different colours. DH is as excited as a child at Christmas, and is already planning another clivia buying trip. On the way home we stopped in Cowichan Bay for a lovely supper. Crab cakes for me, he had steak. All the time he was telling me about different species of clivias, seeds, colours, cross-pollinating etc. etc. It was a lovely day after all!
Edi, glad your house is warm, and lots of hot water too. There is nothing better/cozier than a warm house, a hot bath, and a warm bed when it is so cold outside. Your snow picture is really funny - hahahaaaaa!
-
nihahi. 6.50 am here, had semi decent sleep from midnight ,lots of wees but do now manage to get back asleep usually.
You would laugh if you could see me, I slide out of bed, not to wake DH with my little torch clasped in my gloved hand ( to make hand cream work ) pad to loo. Take off gloves have a wee, wash hands the new sink,it is sooo funny the water comes out of the tap like Niagra falls with the same noise !! dry hands ,gaze at my wrinkly face atopped with fluffy cream hat in mirror, pull tongues at reflection, pad back to bed, apply new handcream pull on gloves and try to pretend I have sleepwalked to fool myself into sleep mode.
With my bladder this happens up to three times a night, might just buy some incontinence pads and let rip lol.
You sound as if you are relaxing more
twcbn will soon be no more and what a celebration we are ALL going to have.xxLiefie, I will swop DH's with you, your day out sounds like my idea of paradise !!
Glad he got his plants, bet now he will spend all day planning where each and every one goes.
We must have pics when all done please.xSunday's are a definite day of rest here. GD is coming later as mum and Dad pack their home into boxes due to remo starting in the morning.
We are doing easter themed things i.e. fairy cakes with chicks on, bit early but she loves it.
Have a lovely day of hopefully rest xCheck u all later xxxx
-
BE AFRAID !!

BE VERY AFRAID LOL
-
Edi...I think you look like a Broadway star, just getting ready to go into "hair and makeup"!!! Nothing can dim that smile and twinkle in your eyes.....note please, I said TWINKLE, not tinkle!!!
Liefie, yes, that day you had with hubby would have been heaven for me...especially when you add in the crabcakes!!!! I MUST have photos of the garden..tell hubby I'm gonna be sitting on his hat everytime he's out there. NO, NOT IN HIS BACK POCKET...what do you take me for!!!
I got "for me" a pretty decent sleep last night without any meds. But oh my lord,,,,the dreams! yowzer!!!!! I don't remember dreaming after taking the sleeping pill that worked, maybe you don't dream on meds???? Sure made up for it last night though.....! I was describing some of the tamer dreams to hubby this morning...I think he is now afraid of me! (should be too!).
Beautiful sunny, but cold day here. Definitely gonna get some outside time. Edi, hope your snow stopped....what a winter you've had!!!! What kind of reno's is your daughter doing...bet your hubby will be supervising over there for awhile, and you can just relax and enjoy your new stuff!
Dakota, hope the sports stuff went well, Websister, hope you're enjoying the family visit, Traii.....hmmmm, where are you????
-
Movie....are you still under the weather???? hope not.
-
Edi, way to go, girl! You are hilarious, and nothing gets you down. Thanks for being you - we all love you! I read last night that Europe is experiencing the coldest spring since 1916 (!!!), and that the long range forecast is not exactly something to get excited about yet. So please stay warm and dry, dear Edi. It is raining here today after glorious sunny day yesterday. Spring, where are you?
Nihahi, so glad you slept reasonably well. As for the dreams, they sound like what I had last year when I started Tamoxifen. LOL! Will give hubby the 'hat' message, and will try to learn to post photos here. So embarrassed that I'm so technologically challenged. Enjoy your outside time!
Everybody else, have a good Sunday!
-
Hi ladies!!!
Well the boys lost today so hockey is over for the season. But Have no fear there is a spring league starting up next week... Lol. Outdoor soccer starts next week. Cockroach is behaving. Have to go back to the exterminator. Starting daring the pool cover today and did some yard work maybe it will bring spring along sooner!!
Edi- u look gorgeous in the picture with your friend. There is nothing like girl time!!!! Love the picture of your gloves too..lol
Nihahi and liefie. I have not even a hint of a green thumb. Plants don't like me!!! It would be nice to have a garden but I don't have the time right now.
Hope everyone is enjoying their day/night!!!
As edi says.... Laters ladies!!!
-
Dakato, sorry to hear your little guy lost, but sounds like he won't be idle for long. I little concerned about the cockroach/exterminator comment......are plans changing???? Remember to look to the future and find a better one!!!!!!!!!
Traii....did I miss your holiday times???? Not like you be quiet?
Movie, Caitlin, Sheryl, Jennie et al.........hope all is well.
-
Hi everone, had 5 hrs sleep, then up for the mugs of tea.Once awake can't just lie there which DH can't understand.
Had an amazing Sunday, GD arrved at 11 am we painted her Easter bunny eggcup first, then played a lovely game which has tiny animals and fairies in it. She then tells me we are writing a book. I was to be the author and she was the illustrator
We have a tray table ,the page would be given to me and I would write about each fairy and its pet, the tray would go to her and she would draw them. This took about an hour and Nana was hit with a terrible need to sleep. She held my hand while I dozed for 15 mins and she watched Disney chanel. Gently woke me up and we made Easter fairy cakes.
She measured all the ingredients using my digital kitchen scales, everything was spot on. They were delicious and needless to say will have to made again before Easter weekend lol.
Her Mum and Dad had packed up ground floor of house and moved into garage/upstairs, pretty stressful but all done now.
.
Today bit of a busy one, Reflex and Reiki at 11 am then straight to hospital where I can have tea and hot toast, then first rad of the week, then up to blood test for tomorrow. At least all of this in the same area so saving on petrol/gas.
DH will be painting bits and bobs, downstairs shower room is getting remo this week, like me looking tired and tatty. New sink and tiles and shower door/shower. Cant believe DH is in overdrive lol.Nihahi, you are soooo kind Movie star ha ha. Will paint my face shortly so may be bit more " normal " looking, love the twinkle not tinkle, very apt.
Liefie's DH had better watch for coffee slopping down his shirt with you in his hat lol.
Glad sleep with no meds for you, DO tell what on earth you dreamed about to make DH scared ?
Snow has stopped for now, but -5 at least this week. Still nothing like you all have but we are just not geared up for this here and don't cope very well.
ED is having whole ground floor demolished, walls moved and whole set of new rooms built. It turned out to be lot cheaper than an extension and wll give her large kitchen/diner with whole back wall of bi fold glass doors. Her Garden is 150 feet X 80 feet which is huge for here and when we have sun ???? she can open up house to incorporate the garden and huge decking area her future father in law is building. We are all looking forward to lots of BBQ's and parties. They are hoping to get married in the early autumn and have reception at home. Aka Father of the Bride Movie, without the hastle lol
DH NOT allowed near, he will be finding fault with everything !!
She has good team of builders so they defo DONT need his input.
Hope Monday good for you xxxLiefie, Temperature sounds lovely where you are, cosy and warm in house so only going out when I have to.
Hope you DH is not overdoing gardening.xxxDakota, Sorry about Son's hockey
hope Soccer goes better,
Don't let cockroach fool you, he knows his time is running out.
Keep well and happy.xxxTraii, Carla, Caitlin,Bearcub, Bevlee, Movie, Benny Scottie where are you all ????
We miss you x -
Hi Girls, wow can you all talk...lol...I'm trying to catch up on everything here!
Been a busy weekend...shopping, catching up with friends and cleaning oh and more shopping! DH's birthday tomorrow so organised a cake ( will pick up before work tomorrow) .
Trip all booked...going to phillip island April 7th. Booked penguin parade for that night (DS is soooooooo excited , just hope he doesn't run to grab one to take him home...lol) then booked the chocolate factory for the next day....(now I am sooooooo excited for that one) Lol!!
Nihahi and Liefie, your image of working around garden with coffee made me laugh, my dad does EXACTLY the same. So proud of his garden!! He has tomatoes growing and every day I go there theres a few for me. He gets soooooooo excited, like a kid in a candy shop...lol.
Nihahi, hope you are feeling ok. Like lifie said, there is no need to appologise, we can all vent on here because we all understand. It's amazing, I feel like I've known everyone here for a long time. I just wish we met on another forum. But BC brought us together and through it all, we are there for eachother , the ups and the downs of it all
Not long for your exchange now. Bet you can't wait. I'm still waiting for my letter to come in the mail on my surgery date !! The only thing I got in the mail other than bills was a letter saying that my parking fine explanation letter ( from having chemo and it went a little longer than expected) was declined, so I have $70 to pay for that AND THEN the last chemo I had 2 weeks ago, well I received another fine in the mail so another $70. That was due to me having to see the new surgeon. So I guess that was definetely worth the fine...I can't be bothered with the letter of explanation to the council. If they declined me having a IV drip in me at the time thus I couldn't go and put money in the meter then I don't think they'll care that I had chemo and that the surgeon wanted to see me after that !!Liefie, how are you settling back in after your get away? I see your DH is a green thumb.....yes I have to agree with you, its definetely not my cup of tea when DH tells me to go to the nursery with him. I have no idea about plants. I just say yes thats pretty, yes thats nice and green, blah blah in one ear and out the other for me.!! We have palms out the front and more native plants because we were on water restrictions when we were doing our garden so we needed plants that would survive in a drought. !!
Edi, you always make me smile. I was picturing you quietly going to the loo, gloves on, gloves off.....then bang, I see your photo and it summed up my vision of you with the gloves and cap on!!!! I can pull my hair now and when its wet I can come it forward or spike it....lol.....its dark brown and already growing over my ears....yipppeee hoping by the time I have surgery in May, it will be at a nice length where I can leave my wig at home, new hair style and now boobs! lol.
Dakota, have you heard of 'mad monday' ? not sure if it's an 'aussie' thing but when the boys finish cricket or footy they have the Monday off and drink until there hearts content.!! I know you're sons a little young for that...lol but i hope you're giving him the day off school....lol AND so it all begins again with soccer..... at least he plays sport to keep fit
The girl I work with....her boyfriend had Mad Monday today after they lost the grandfinal yesterday. They had to dress up as nerds and had a pub crawl in the city. I couldn't stop laughing when my collegue showed me the photo of the 'grown men' dressed up as nerds, all colourful .. ready to take on the pubs.....it started at 9am.....I'm sure he would be in fine form tonight....lol can't wait to hear all about it at work tomorrow!! Glad things are 'ok' with the cockroach. Hope he is behaving and being nice to the kids and you ( civil enough for a conversation at the least) !!Ok, think I've blabbled enough ... lol..... catcha laters alligators.....xoxox happy Monday to you all xoxoxoxoxo
-
Hi Ladies. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We had a fair amount of snow last night - unusual for this time of year here.
I'm happy to report that Round 4 is going a lot better than Round 3 for me so far - or for that matter, better than Round 1 or 2. Not sure what the difference is, other than that my brother has been here since Friday night and he's been plying me with fruit smoothies (on the advice of my sis-in-law, who is a family physician). Not sure if they're the key, but for whatever reason I feel way better than I have at this point previously. Also helps psychologically to have reached the half-way point. My bro has also painted my kitchen (I had started it a long while ago) and is planning to move onto the hallway this afternoon, hoping he'll have time to reach the spare bedroom by the end of the week. He also made me a nice dinner (salmon, asparagus) while DH was away overnight to check on his house (long story, but DH and I actually have two houses, in different cities/states, and pre-BC were only together a few nights per week - as Edi would say, for me one of the benefits of this s&&t is that I actually get to live with my husband! I tell everybody that I'm happier now, even with BC, than I was previously because of the fact that DH and I are together full time) - it is also such a boost to have these visits from my family (nobody scheduled for April, but sisters and cousin are coming in May)!
Just heard on Friday that my MIL has suspected renal cancer, and is undergoing further tests today. Also, DH's teenage niece has a thyroid issue, and cancer has not been ruled out there - she is also seeing a specialist and undergoing further testing this week. As DH was saying, other than first grandson expected in August, 2013 has not been a year of good news for us so far.
Liefie, I thought the day out with your DH sounded like a very relaxing way to spend an afternoon. I don't have much of a green thumb, but like to try my hand at gardening nonetheless and find visiting nurseries and looking at plants very soothing. Edi, just loved your photos - so nice you were able to get together with your friend, and sounds like your GD had you hopping with Easter prep - also, very busy week ahead for you! Traii, where is Philip Island? Nihahi, hope you continue to get some reasonably good sleeps. Dakota, hope everything is going well for you and that things are heading in a good direction. Luvmy, how are those baby goats doing?
-
Caitlin...so WONDERFUL to hear how things are going for you now!!! Your brother sounds like a love....could you send him here next???? Sad to hear about the issues for others in your family..........seems like stuff like this often happens in bunches.
Traii...so good to hear you've just been charging around being busy, not under the weather. The trip sounds like tons of goodtimes. Boy, I wouldn't pay those parking tickets....I'd raise such a fuss....I'd contact anyone and everyone and make darn sure that never happens again to any other patient!!!!!
Edi.....what's a fairy cake??? Can't imagine living in a house with that much reno going on. Bet their over at your place LOTS!!!!
Off to yoga this morning, so I'll be thinking of you at Reiki. Soul sisters we are,,,,for sure!!!!!!
-
Caitlin, YAYYYY!!! So wonderful when somebody reports good news re their treatment! Your bro is a star taking care of you like that with smoothies and painting your house. It is those small acts of love and kindness which keep our human race going. DH living at home is the biggest perk - enjoy to the fullest!
Traii, I'm back to my old routine. My job is to exercise every weekday morning. As for the rest I live on this board, cook and clean. Reading here is the first thing I do every day. So wish I could meet all of you in person one day! You all feel like true friends to me. Have met Websister so far - what a lovely experience that was! Have to play piano/organ in church this Easter Sunday, will have to practise a little this week as I have not played in a while. Re DH's green thumb, last summer for our DD's wedding he single-handedly decorated the farm barn venue inside and outside with rented trees and shrubs. I was still too weak to help him. Did such a stunning job that the wedding florist asked if she could hire him in future - LOL.
Edi, all the plants that he bought had been standing inside my house since Saturday so he could touch, fuss and look at them, and show them off to everybody who visited. He finally took them out last night, but two are still in the kitchen on the floor. . . don't want to rain on his parade, so just enduring. Your ED is doing quite the reno? But once it is finished, that new space will be so enjoyable. Have done that myself, and eating dust for a while is all worth that pleasure when it is all done. Enjoy your Reflex and Reiki!
I'm off to the pool for Aquafit, then a session in the gym later. My tummy muscles are still sore from that boot camp on Thursday - feels as if I already had that DIEP surgery. LOL! Have a lovely Monday, girls!
-
Hi ladies -
Sooooo happy for you Caitlin!!!!
Nihahi- things are not changing. I am having surgery 4/12. Not so DH does not live with us. He does not have a key so things are status quo for right now.
Traii- so glad ur well and glad u have had lots of retail therapy.
Lie fie- so jealous of your energy and time for the gym
Glad everyone seems to be doing ok. Hope u all have a fabulous Monday. -
Amazing how other people's struggles help us keep ours in perspective. My daughter, who struggles with both significant health and emotional issues, was told by her ****ing landlady today, that she would have to move out, as the landlady wanted to redecorate and do "other things". This is supposed to be a "supportive" living type of situation!!!!!!!!!!! My daughter was shattered, as she has struggled so hard to "make it on her own", and is truly not physically well at the moment. Thankfully, we have an extra bedroom in our condo, and she has agreed to come here, until she can get sorted out. We are trying to put a positive spin on it for her, in that she will be "helping me out" by rescuing me from her dad's cooking post-op, but sheesh......some people just seem to have one struggle after another. We live in different towns, and she doesn't drive, so it will be a challenge getting her in for various appts until I'm driving again, but we'll make it work. Makes me certainly get my mind out of my own "woes"!!!!!
-
Some people are so heartless Nihahi. Your daughter needs her independance & they do that to her...shame on them. On the plus side you will have those extra pair of hands when youre recovering

Caitlin so glad to hear youve been better this round
keep it up hun
-
Hello lovely ladies!
Been lurking....haven't been feeling like posting.....stomach now returning to somewhat normal....STILL feeling weak.... :-(
So impressed by all of your positivity-you are all such strong women! I gain a lot of strength just reading your posts here. You have no idea how much I think of you all every day......this is my safe place, and I thank you for that.
I am holding each of you in my heart.......hope to be more lively in a day or two!
((((Hugs)))))
Namaste and God Bless-Jackie -
Glad you are feeling a little better Jackie

Keep well xNihahi, your DD's landlady needs group thumping !! the bxxxh. Good part you get DD to help through all this and rescue you from DH's cooking lol.

Fairy cakes are small muffin type cakes, in paper cases with decs on top. GD's nickname is Fairy so very apt. Got a pic of them and her to show you will post when photobucket stops pissing me about again.
