AMERICAN IDOL...Season 12 & The Voice...Season 4

I heard him say surprise but I wasn't sure what he was talking about.
-
Hi sheila, hi Renee, some kind of surprise, wonder what it is? That smokey stairway and Amber was a scream
-
Hi Karen...Those were the first words from Ryan tonight.......
-
That was an anti-climactic surprise, I hope Paul doesn't go, I like when he really let's loose and is theatric, so there Jimmy!
-
Don't like CA.......
-
me either sheila.
-
I know it's not popular to say so but Lazaro should have been in the bottom three. He's getting the empathy vote, whish is IMHO a form of discrimination.
-
-
So...who is going home tonight?
-
I actually liked Jessica's song
Lazaro is being voted on by Vote for the Worst Idol.com
they are promoting him this year.
-
OMG Sheila I'm so happy she's safe!!!
-
(((Janelle)))♥
-
You are not alone in that Renee!! Devon going home?
-
Aww they might as well not even have had Paul sing they won't use the save tonight. If it had been Devin or Amber maybe so...
-
This was Paul's best performance
I think they are saving the save vote for Lazaro........
I noticed one more thing...this years nobody crying when a contestant leaves.......
-
There is an actual Vote for the Worst Idol site, so we have another Sanjhia situation? Now that is cruel.
-
Keith was the first judge to come up to hug Paul good-bye, see you all on Monday night, Yeah The Voice is back. I'm not kidding anyone, Blake is back!
-
Dear Moderators.....Thank You for helping me with the header picture......
Sheila
-
Karen....see you Monday......
-
yes Karen, it's www.votefortheworst.com and if you go there you'll find they are promoting Lazaro as the worst. They say he won't win but going to keep him around as long as possible. Encouraged everyone to vote this week multiple times phone, computers, etc. To get points in for him since he clearly did the worst.
-
Unbeleiveable Renee, people are very, very strange in what they use their time for. It'll even be worse if the judges use their save for Lazaro as sheila suggested, and I would not be at all surprised.
-
I think the right person went home tonight, he had a nice voice but I agreed with Jimmy, he has not yet learned how to use it. I just felt there was something cruise ship/ amusement park about his style of presentation. Lazaro has some of the same issues.
Interesting that Amber was in the bottom three, since in theory she is commercial.
I read somewhere that the week before she was eliminated Jennifer Hudson was actually the top vote getter.
I thought the song the ladies sang together was BRILLIANT...one of the best group numbers ever on Idol.
-
Jimmy was p'oed that he has been celled out on several thuings and thus his rant about how he has fired 110 assistants. He wanted to be sure we knew how important he is I guess. I think it is obnoxious that he needed to tell about that. I sort of liked him before but don't now. To clarify, I have seen AI refuse a song to a contestant because the guest musician wanted to use it. Who knows exactly what went on? I hope he gets to sing more and build confidence before it is time for him to go. His voice is beautiful.
-
Lazaro was off-key several times during his performance of "In My Life," but even worse, he failed to connect to the feeling of wistful remembrance of that song. (To illustrate how big of a disconnect he seemed to have, I can only say that I have been in countries where English is not the official language but the youth know all the American songs and can sing them phonetically without even knowing what the words mean. That is what Lazaro reminded me of.) He was not Top Ten material, yet here he is.
Candice and Kree have read the "How To" manual of this show, and (agreeing with Sheila) I was happy that Candice (someone!) picked an uptempo number. This season has severely failed to rock. I wasn't a huge Steven Tyler fan, but who the heck on the current panel is going to tell the contestants to let it loose and rock out already? I also loved Burnell's performance this week. He is winning me over. (It's not that I don't like Janelle, but I have to disclose that I am not a country music fan. She's good, but if she wins, it's just Carrie Underwood all over again to me.)
So, next week is Motown. Since a few of these nippers didn't know their classic Beatles songs, is there even hope that they can channel some Temps, Tops, or beehive girl groups? Cannot wait to find out.
-
I agree they need to pick up the tempo. I was happy to hear the one up tempo song. I have been wondering about this since the beginning. Didn't the judges used to complain if there were too many ballads?
-
Oh Ginger and Elimar you both said it... "snooze fest" these ballads are giving me a headache
LOL! I really like several of the singers but I can't stand the constant singing of da.....da....da..... da..... bahahaha!!!! I hope this week we here some upbeat Motown toons... a little Jackson 5, Supremes, Diana Ross, the 4 tops, Tempations, Gladys Knight, Rick James, Commodores, and upbeat Lionel Richie song and there are so many more to choose from... Hope they haven't picked the same old hohum songs from year after year.
-
Well, I know a couple of you were Idol fans, but surprised at a couple others of you!
Kree &/or Candice all the way!
Sheila, Candice cried when Curtis left!
-
Joni....You're surprised ha......
We all are very smart people and judges....too bad your time zone is so different...........
elimar...I found a link what Motown songs they are singing but i lost it......and can't seem to find it
Ginger & Renee....I'm still waiting for that moment when one of the contestants will make me jump up and down...........I have patience and it might never happen.......
I like Janelle and Kree......
-
If you are a Voice Fan...please join us here tonight.....at 8
-
When Adam Lambert sang Ring of Fire, that made me jump up and down!
