Good Night!
-
I love your pictures Sheila! They are the best!!!
Good Morning from a very cold Massachusetts. Wind chills in the 20's today. SO tired of this. My walk is going to be a cold one!
Happy St. Patty's Day. Anyone cooking the traditional meal?? I'm not a fan of it, so I won't be. I will be having Thai food...lol. Went out for Thai last night and brought half home. Scallops, shrimp, calamari with vegetables. It was awesome!
-
Traditional....my daughter is cooking ham and cabbage.....my 14 year old grandson will be having mashed potatoes, and will be very unhappy with the rest of the meal.....has not eaten a veggie or a piece of fruit since he was 18 months old...........he is already 5 ft 11 inches at 14....imagine if he ate right........but the kids today don't push them........my one son 'grew a mustache sitting looking at a plate of peas.........lol

Good Morning
-
Ducky, my 14 year old son eats nothing! No fruit, no veggies. He has a texture thing going on. He eats Peanutbutter on whole wheat bread. Or peanutbutter on ritz crackers, not town house crackers, ritz crackers. My pediatrician says he is very healthy so not to worry about it. I do. I have for years. I keep waiting for him to outgrow this, but he hasn't. I MAKE him eat chicken. He wants nothing on it. He asks me what kind of chicken I am making. He calls it 'normal chicken'. Plain.
He does love burgers! No pizza, not much else.
-
Send your son over...i'm boiling a plain chicken later will become a soup.......
DFD....never ate cookies or cakes or even candies.....No meat any type until 3.........was intruduced to chicken cutlets which she ate.......after that anything she ate i told her it was chicken cutlet
DSD....Tried everything.....was a fruit and veggy eater
Their mother eats everything...hahahahahahahahahahahaaaa
I walked today...OMG so out of shape..less than a mile and i was almost out of breath......
-
No can do. Can't be boiled. Must be cooked in oven with no browning. lol
DFD...are we having a bad day?
-
Bad day???????????????????
-
Didn't know why you called one DD DFD and the other DSD. I add the F when I've had a bad day.
-
Wow you all were busy......if you saw FB got the LT back from oldest son...
My kids don't eat anything either and I got tired of not eating meatloaf or spagetti and meatballs cause they don't like it so I make it myself and they can cook for themselves....I also make chicken breast with olive oil, parsley and salt and pepper and that is it, I don't like the breading....LINDA found these really cool things, they are graham crackers with peanut butter, made by the people that make graham crackers, they also have yogurt...I love them...PB has lots of protein supposedly...
Chris unfortunately basically like ducky said, the older they are they more of a PIA they are.....bigger kids bigger problems...and you have no control, and they ask for your opinion and they hate what you say...grandchildren are the way to go, them I just adore...my kids most of the time, not so much, lol
Joan I thought he said no you couldn't get a car...
Diane how is the weather out there, LOL
Me...welll thanks all, with the twins out today I had a relaxing day, they are such a PIA, have not had any medication since Wednesday, michael keeps opening the front door and turning the heat off and opening the window cause he says it is hot in here.....george well another idiot.....not speaking to him....when my oldest son took them today apparently he talked to them, whatever good that is, they don't care....my daughters and even my exhusband and brother-in-law and other family members were really upset at build a bear basicially yelling at my daughters to do something about them.....i just want to live alone, can't deal with them anymore, and they won't leave.....it is so stressful....BUT, I am fine, I have you guys and my friends....it won't like be this forever AND there are people worse off then me...
Have a good night!!! HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY!!

I dream of an all white condo - white carpet, white sofa, white bedding.

Here is your white bedroom........
-
Thanks for clarifying Sheila. You know what my F stands for. lol
So sorry to hear about Chris' Mom. (Not Chris from our thread). Chris is such a wonderful person (as is the Chris from our thread). Must be the name.
-
Linda....my GS has a texture problem too...is also colored blind, so imagine what some foods look like to him...I worry....
This child just started eating candy 1 year ago....not all types either....starburst, plain Hershey, and little else.........even fussy with the cake he eats......lol -
Today....I'm so grateful for feeling normal...MH was excellent....hoping it stays like this few more days....
I was also a very good girl.....did laundry again...walked...cooked....did some cleaning....and I'm freshly showered.......and didn't cheat.......
Tomorrow I see my old MO at 12:30....no I'm not nervous it's just that will be starting tumor marker tests again.....he always did it.....Hoping he won't ask me every 4 months.......
I'm retiring to the LR to find a nice mystery movie
good Night TOL.......
-
Same with my son, Ducky. Only eats plain chocolate, but really doesn't eat candy. Cake, he loves, but can't have 'colored' frosting on it or sprinkles of any kind! So strange!

Thanks for the update Sheila. Keep those pics coming.
Goodnight my lovely ladies! How come we never have lovely men on this thread??
-
Wow, you ladies have had a busy weekend, too. Mine was super-duper.
Well the dinner ended around 10:30 last night so we just crashed there and came home this morning. The five courses were amazing if I do say so myself. I felt like I was on Chopped or The Next Food Network Star. Only one boo boo and only I know about it because the winemaker's wife forgot to add a sauce on one item on the menu, and since I had the menu taped up in front of me for plating, I forgot to put the sauce on the plate.
After cleaning up plates this morning we headed home. I should clear around $400 for the day.
So I picked up FDIL and FGD and we met two of her sisters to bridal gown shop. Her sister was already there and had written a list of dresses she liked and wanted the sales lady to pull for her. The sales lady asked her to check them off in the catalog because just giving her #s would be difficult.
So she tried on a couple of those and I went and picked out a couple that didn't match her wish list. She fell in love with one of them and after trying on a few more dresses she went back to that one and bought it. I feel weird, the couple is taking care of so much stuff right away, no procrastination. Not used to it. After that we went to Michael's and looked at centerpiece ideas and then to JoAnn to look at patterns for a flower girl dress. I might be making that, but that will be the only one.
The weekend went well...
-
Wow Meece, that does sounnd like a wonderfull weekend. You are so talented!
-
Wow Meece how cool is that, waiting for the other shoe to drop, maybe this one will be easy.
Going out in a few with a friend who lost her son @ 26 from cancer a couple of years ago, today is his birthday, so I will try to make her laugh.....weather sucks, we are getthing the snow, sleet rain this afternoon and I have to go out later and watch the grandchildren, a typical monday which is fine......love spending alone time with them.....jamie quit one of her jobs. she is worried about her kids, she should be the baby who is a year old only says about 4 things, I am worried about her and I talk to her all the time when I am with her.....
have a good day...
-
Some babies take their time talking. DS1 had a limited vocabulary until he was about 16 months old. His first real word, other than the typical mama, dada, please, no, yes etc, was "mayonaise!" What a shocker to hear it clear as a bell. From then on he didn't stop talking. Sometimes I longed for the quieter days!
-
Ducky...My DSD didn't start talking fully until she was over 2y and 5 m......after that she never shut up..........
Meece....Maybe you should be opening your catering business or be a wedding organizer......
Have you ever thought about it?
OK.....@1;30 in the afternoon...just got back from MO.''It was so nice to be a patient there again
He found me looking wonderful and healthy......
BW was done in the office.....Nurse asked me if i needed any extra BW done I should tell her before she starts.....so I'm having another vitamin D test.....I said do everything this way i don't have to see the Primary every 4 months...which he doesn't believe blood work is needed every 4 months
I graduated to every 6 months and NO I don't need to see BS anymore....
Isn't that wonderful......
I'm trying to downsize all the Doctors and the blood works
I'm not really nervous about tumor marker test
I've been a good girl.....MH is still normal....
Weight very slowly going down...which is fine.....
IT is sooooo cold outside...
(((TOL)))
-
