Thinking Out Loud.....

You couldn't tell which one DD was? lol I don't know which one she is unless there is a close-up and even then sometimes the trumpet is in the way and I can't tell. Sometimes even she has had to look at the earrings to see if they are hers to tell if it's her. Lots of nice pix on Flickr of the band.
Thanks for watching and letting me share.
-
Did I mention that DD wasn't happy to have had her shoes on the field the Jets and Giants play on - lol. She wanted to sanitize them afterward. But when the Patriots wiped the field with the Jets a few weeks later, she didn't feel so bad - lol.
-
She's a very wise girl!
-
Here's some explanation of one part - when the drumline was on fire, the video showed clips from different performances because MetLife Stadium wouldn't let them use fire on the field. At the show, they showed video on the jumbotrons of the drums on fire.
The announcer celebrated his 40th year announcing for the band. He was the announcer when I was in band. Pretty cool.
I also thought part 3 - the tribute to fallen firefighters - was poignant. I just wish they had included those who fell in 2012 - especially during hurricane Sandy - I guess they didn't have time to get all those names together...so they did 2011. When DD told stories about the "ballad" they were doing for one of the parts of the show, I was kind bummed - thinking it would be a boring slow song. But when I found out it was a tribute to the firefighters - since their show was UCMB on Fire - I got choked up whenever they performed that part.

test results from CT scan....have to talk to the dr. (onc) primary sent me this..
Test(s) Performed: Radiology study. Imp:1. Slight interval increase in size of right axillary lymph node. THIS IS THE LYMPH NODES UNDER MY ARM THAT HAS CANCER - INCREASED

5. Coronary artery calcification.
6. Stable scarring and/or atelectasis both lower lobes and lingula. SEEMS LIKE CANCER IN LUNGS STABLE
7. Stable appearance of osseous metastasis. AS WELL AS THE CANCER IN MY BONES
OK NOW THIS IS THE PROBLEM, i HAVE A MASS ON MY CHEST WALL (ON THE RIGHT) THAT STICKS OUT AND YOU CAN FEEL WITH MY HAND ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE, THEY NEVER COMMENT ON IT AND DIDN'T AGAIN, AND I TOLD HIM AND HE WROTE IT ON THE SCRIPT AND THEY STILL DIDN'T, WTH......

feeling fine, couldn't sleep, the person that read it pisses me off, will call the dr. tomorrow...I want another person that reads them to read it again, OR in the alternative give me a PET scan which I have been asking for, but, can you trust what they read.....so pissed, this happens all the time, they never comment about the mass on my chest wall.....so can you trust what they say they saw...
-
Don't give up Sandy! Keep at them until you get what you want.
Snowing sideways here. Really crappy out!
-
Sandy, my GP has taught me a trick to get something done. She asks me specific questions about whatever area of concern I have. Like, are you having pain, does it change in appearance of size, etc. By ME addressing something as problem (not just a nuisance) she is 'compelled' to order a diagnostic test which insurance should cover.
She does the questioning in a way that she never mentions insurance coverage oe how I should answer. I learned this years ago when after asking me the questions she said something like 'too bad, if it was keeping you awake (or causing you increased pain) insurance would have covered a scan of it."
Does that make sense?
So, Sandy, what if you told your Dr that the mas was making it difficult to sleep, seemed to have changed size, or cause daily pain? Maybe your Dr would order a test just for the mass.
It might be worth the try.
-
well thanks Meece.....I called him waiting for him to call me back.....he told me depending on the results he might ask for a PET scan which I have been wanting, so awaiting his calll......
-
I hope you get it Sandy. Take Meece's advice, embellish if you have to!
-
Hope you get some answers, Sandy. So infuriating.

Trying to figure out what to do with myself while I wait for my future employer to call and tell me when they want me to start work. I could use some more clothes...it's not snowing right now and the roads are just wet - I could go shopping. There's a Dress Barn nearby so I wouldn't have to go far.. OR I could wade through the crap in DD's room and do some of her laundry for her. She's done some jeans here and there, but one of her hampers is full and there are still clothes on the floor -last I saw. Or I could clean the bathrooms... Hmmmm. Too many choices...
-
Or...cringe...I could do the taxes...
-
It's snowing like crazy here. Of course, I am in the 'jackpot' area. YUCK!
Or you could come over and shovel!
-
wow Linda well I heard you were getting alot...
Chris, go get yourself anything you want, you deserve it even if you weren't going to work
-
Sandy....do what Meece said....with these Doctors you have to exaturate things.....
Years ago I needed to see my gyn..i think I was pregnant or whatever and of course they were booked.....Finally little white lie gave me a quick result...I told her i was bleeding......they took me in less than 2 hours......
I really hope the problem will be solved soon otherwise we can all go there and start SLAPPING
-
Good morning..
Weather update...nothing to update...few stupid flakes here and there........
Chris....Thinking of you.....I was watching Hoarders last night...I can't get enough of that show........
Years ago DFD had a friend and her mother got so upset with her that she threw all her clean and dirty clothes out the window.....hahahahahaha
Chris...believe it or not things change once they have their own place.....I know that doesn't help the situation now
Meece....I can see your AG's growing....any pictures?
-
Lol .Sheila......did the same thing, only threw them down the cellar stairs each and everything that was not in a drawer or a closet...........we used the basement door to go in and out in nasty weather..........so on this day it was raining.........guess what my friggin kids did......some stepped over them.....some walked right on them..........and one said...."hey Mom, do you know there's a huge pile of clothes at the bottom of the cellar stairs......
-
Ducky....Once i put a crayon on the floor see if anybody will pick it up
After a week later it was still there........
So how are you doing today?....hugs
DIANE DIANE DIANE DIAAAAAANE........where are you? how are you feeling?
I missed you....♥
-
-
DFD.....lol.
-
Hi ptdreamers......
Latest update.....Went shopping 2 bags only.....1 snow flake fell on my face....
Trying to keep active......got GF..the rest were regular stuff
Tonight i'm making myself a nice big juicy steak to celebrate my life........lalalalalala
Maybe i'll go out again....
Need emergency 10 pound weight loss.....Now I'm scared....10 pounds gain in less than 3 months...
-
Enjoy the steak Sheila! Once the weather is better you will be out everyday and the weight will come off!
-
omg- you are all so funny. Yup-the crayon would have stayed on the floor for at least a week. Clothes out the window - I may need to try that next. And a pile of clothes on the floor anywhere in this house is normal - so no one would question it. No respect. I feel like Rodney Dangerfield.
I needed to clean up for the tutor to come a couple weeks ago - there were snow pants and several pairs of gloves (more than we have people to wear them!) in the kitchen and dining room. (this was 2 weeks after the blizzard) Plus some water bottles and other scout camping stuff on the dining room table (that's where camping stuff belongs, right?) So I took a copier paper box and put all the small stuff in it and put it and the pants in the garage just as you walk out the kitchen. It is all still there. Probably didn't notice it- in our hoarder garage. You like watching Hoarders? You should come over and see it live and in person!
Sorry to complain - I just can't stand living like this.
They called wanting a couple more pieces of info for me to start work. Pharmacy lady told me to call store manager tomorrow when he is in to try to get the ball rolling - he tends to forget...only now I don't know what I should say to him...uh, Gina told me to call you... I don't remember why... I need a brain transplant. 5 months since I took the exam - don't remember anything... I hope they don't expect me to. they certainly aren't paying me to know anything - lol. but a little money is better than no money at this point.
-
Don't be scared, Sheila - Linda's right - once it gets warmer, you'll lose the weight.
I'm not that desperate for something to do, Linda - I don't want to shovel! Sorry you (and Deb?) are in the jackpot zone. Hope you get less than they predicted.
So I WAS going to get started on the taxes - decided to print out the forms (then enter it on the free online thing that is a pain), but when I try to print these documents, my printer spits out gibberish! wtf?! I have to tell it to print as an image under advanced options. Why do I have to do that? And if my husband didn't tell me to do that, I wouldn't have known what to do. Freaking computers. Why is everything I do so f'd up?
-
A crayon....when my kids were younger, they would have walked over a body, laying in the middle of the room, even if they didn't recognize it.
Their father thought that door knobs, chairs, and banisters were where you hung your clothes.
I would say to him.....Vince, for heaven sake can't you hang up your coat.....answer......it is hung up..........then I would say, Vince, a chair is not the closet.......answer........I'm gonna wear it tomorrow, so why bother putting it in the closet...........my answer........your gonna "shit" tomorrow, too, but your still gonna eat dinner tonight..........silence......
