Ray I have no idea...
George to the dentist @ 3....luv you all!!

I have MRI's every 6 months, they are no big deal. The big deal is DRIVING into Boston. I hate driving there. Now we are having a snowstorm on that day too. Crap!
No colonoscopy for me. I think you get them at 50. Not sure.
-
Now i know exactly how many DR's I need to see 7.....
Do i really have too....except MH and MO...NO........
Making chicken soup...with no escarole...I like to see green in the soup...I have emergency frozen spinach...I'm wondering if i can use that
As you see TOL again........inactive,,,tired...no desire to move...took a Klonopine the dreaded anxiety is coming back....
Need a shower.......
-
Sheila.....spinach works....might need a couple boxes, or bags.....remember how that shrinks down to nothing......
-
Stay on top of your mood Sheila. Get out of the house!!! Go for your walk and stock up on your fav fruits and veggies. Then do sme cooking!
-
Thanks Linda....i'm really sick of myself...most of the time i handle it quitely...bot sometimes I start TOL................
I totally forgot to add the spinach......
All i put was carrots..parsnips...orzo...onion and a 1 fresh squezzed lemon.......It was good..not very presentable but tasty..............
I'm waiting american Idol to start....It's 3 days in a row this week...will keep me occupied.......
tomorrow MH day...if weather gets very messy i have to change it to another day.......
Thursday will be 60 MPH winds...warnings are out already
I'm sick and tired of winter.....Can we chase it somewhere else?
Sandy...any updates/
Diane...Are you feeling better?
(((TOL)))
We are changing the time this weekend....lalalalalalalalalalaaaaaa
-
Joan...You mentioned rocks......aren't they interesting?
-
love the rocks...don't like american idol....or soup, nope updates.....he better call tomorrow....will let you all know thanks for asking.....the boys are back to bveing azzholes....fist fighting, really they are 19 grow the f up!!
-
So sorry Sandy. I hear ya!! I hope they call tomorrow too. I'll be thinking of you!
-
Dr says she doesn't trust colonoscopies as the "end all" in screening. She says they miss a lot.
I am nervous and excited. Got a call today and I am going on a part time job assignment starting 8:20 tomorrow! I have been jobless for 12 1/2 weeks now, not sure how easy it's going to be geting back into the swing of things.
-
Good luck with your job Meece.....
So what other tests needed if colonoscopy is not the 100% answer?
-
Good luck Meece! Let us know how the job goes!!

Terry love it but what about your job? Any wisdom there?
-
(((TOL))) Sheila, love the rocks! I hope you are feeling better. I rarely get to watch AI due to work...but I did tonight and was pretty amazed at the ladies.
Ducky, I agree - the colonoscopy is nothing....go to sleep, wake up...get a ride home and eat and sleep it off. I think my arm was bruised because they probably changed my position for the endoscopy while I was out, and crunched the IV arm. Linda, more snow....we are supposed to get 2-4" - then it said 4-6" ... but New England will get more again. Be safe.
My all day conference was a professional development day. The speeches were boring. The first session was good; the second was really awful. Then a meeting of my department which was chaotic cross talk among about 4 people while everyone just sat and waited for it to be over. Yay. Then I went and had thin-crust pizza on the way home.
Still feeling really achey all over and have a headache. Napped after work so am up late.
Be scareful in the storm and don't forget to have those storm supplies nearby just in case.
I don't really mind winter at all...I don't like driving on ice though. Or losing power (ever)...
Nite all,Joan

Joan, I like your word 'scareful'. I can think of lots of uses for it.
Welcome, Tpettis. We were just commenting that the founder of this thread is no longer active on it and we aren't sure why. We meet here daiyl and just chat about our lives and whatever we might be thinging about. I see that you are a fellow TN and have been doing chemo for about 10 weeks. Are you going to be having radiation as well?
Sheila, are you feeling better today?
-
Gotta go to the store and get the bread and milk...(no really, we have no bread - not sure about the milk...) (In case you missed it last time - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6zaVYWLTkU)
Hope you don't have a bad drive tomorrow, Linda.
Glad the rock is starting to go away, Sheila - hope it disappears fast.
Sorry about Hershey, Sandy. It's a bummer when you can't go on an annual vaca anymore. Not sure when we will ever go camping again...And NY with my parents might have to be skipped this year too. Maybe no vaca for us (except "D"H who will go on a Scout trip to the DC area...wonder where that money is going to come from...)
I had a flexible sigmoidoscopy back in 1999 when I was having problems with irritable bowel. Prep just seemed like an induced irritable bowel episode so wasn't that bad. I suspect colonoscopy prep will be worse ( esp since I don't have IBS now the way I did then)
Good luck with the job, Meece. I'm still waiting to hear when they want me to start. Bought some shoes yesterday - hope they are comfy. My feet are so bad. Why are the shoes that are supposed to be comfortable so ugly? I ordered another color of the same shoe online. Why is it when I find something I think I will like - it's on it way to being sold out/discontinued? Bought a couple tops too. Need more. Hard to know what to wear this time of year.
There were some things I liked, but when I tried them on, they didn't look good - I'm too fat for them. Bummer. I hope if I can lose more weight (eating mini donuts in the mall isn't going to help) that there will be some nice stuff left... I bought a couple color blocked tops (heard Craig Ferguson talking about color blocking being the new thing last fall - I get my fashion info from late night tv- lol) BUT one of the tops had a white stripe across my stomach. THAT did NOT look good - could see that I do NOT have a six pack. Gross - so I got different ones that had darker colors on my fat stomach. Moral of the story - don't get fat.
omg - I'm spending so much money, I need to start work SOON! (And it's going to be a drop in the bucket - but I'm trying not to think about that part)
-
Good morning....
Sun is out and i need to leave soon for MH.....
TOL....Definitely something is wrong with my stomach.......Rock left but i have very bad heartburn
I'm thinking with all the weird symptoms either they are all related to anxiety and MH or something seriously wrong with me....Don't feel like myself...it's hard to explain..........
BBL to respond everyone

I am trying to rescedule my MRI. Can't believe we are going to get nailed again!
Welcome Tpettis!!
Sorry to hear about your DD Chris. It's so hard to watch that when you know they are trying!
-
Are you going to your MH appointment today? I hope so and I hope you feel better!
-
I hope MH helps and helps your stomach to feel better.(((((Sheila)))))
I can't believe we are going to have crappy weather again for your MRI - I feel like you just went through this! (((((Linda)))))
On a positive note, DD and her friends got into the dorm they wanted to. Now she needs to pass her classes so she can actually go...
-
Just reflecting on the awesome year DD had in band and how awesome band is and the band kids are...from when DD headed up to campus with a fellow high school classmate who was also attending the branch to stay with a former high school classmate on campus for the week of band preseason rehearsals (the girl they stayed with, in color guard, sewed the yellow stripes on the black flags used in the last part of the show) up until the last performance at MetLife Stadium...It was such a fun season - great music - hard work - lots of new friends - lots of fun times -
If you have 15+ minutes with nothing to do - here's a recording of that last performance (camera was high up, so some parts are quieter than they would have been at the field) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ot8gFrdPPe8&list=UUyDITyS4PGDaXJ7WaNVQc_Q
-
Nice Chris!! SO good to see kids involved!
-
Chris....some very smart kids they are not good in Math......
I don't know which one is DD...but the presentation is beautiful like the Olympics.......
Hugs
-
Hows MH??
-
Very windy and coldish.....
DD was doing wash and asked me if i wanted a ride...she knows I better walk for health reasons...but I let her drive me......
MH is not good....My DR said I'm going through a major MH and anxiety crisis...
I knew something was wrong except the stomach that i need to make an appointment
She said do what you're able and don't feel obligated that you need to do certain things
I'm very tired...my body hurts...dull headache....and everything else is not right
So that's the update.....before I knew when I was depressed...this time is different........
Sorry...the end of the rant.........
I don't know if we're getting snow or rain or both........
I did a nice veggy shopping and I don't have to leave the house AG was .99
They had red swiss chard but too lazy to cook it so didn't buy any.....got spinach and escarole.......
Thank You for being there for me.........
Bad MH sucks big time........
♥♥♥♥

cup of tea

-
Yes but MH does suck! BIG TIME!!!! Hang in there and rant away!
My MRI was just cancelled, apparently the insurance denied it. lol. I'm OK with that since the weather is going to suck. I will call them tomorrow.
Soccer at 7 and 9 tonight. Gonna be a long night!
-
Good thing you were trying to reschedule - imagine if you went into Boston in bad weather only to find out it was canceled?!! They couldn't have told you sooner? Those people make me so mad.
Sorry about MH, Sheila.
