O.K.! Off to eat dinner - it's just past 5 p.m. here.....
AI is on at 8 p.m.
Will catch up with y'all later!!!!
-
Thanks for stopping by blessing...i can't wait until tomorrow to read your post........
-
Talking to myself...I'm not too happy with the girls tonight.......
-
Liked Julliana, nice, pure tones. Hi Sheila
-
Hi Karen......
-
So far....
-
Not like the girls last week, you absolutely knew who was batting it out of the park, kind of sleepy tonight. If Zometa (SP) goes through, I quit, she got to Vegas on the strange factor, Nicki looks pretty normal tonight, did someone talk to her about her outfits?
-
hahahahahahahahaha....Karen.....LOL
did you mean Zoanette?
I liked Aubrey....very sweet girl and pure voice........
-
I like Rachel...but tonight she didn't do it for me.....
-
Hey ladies - joining in.
I thought Rachel was good in the beginning and then went a little off.
-
hi Wonderland.....
-
Hi wonderland!! Nice to have you join in, I liked Rachel also, liked the song and how she moved with it.
-
Breanna...loved her song and stage presence...♥
Very nice
-
Breanna was really good! "Sexy on a stick" like NM said.
-
Janelle is a natural little sunshine all of her.....reminds me Lauren Alaina from 2 years ago ......
But the song choice wasn't too exciting
-
She was acting like a beauty contest contestant while taking with Ryan.
-
NM Baby's is coming next......
-
Janelle is a favorite of mine, I so hope she makes it through, here comes Z---------, hope she doesn't sing the National Anthem
-
Does she always scream her songs?
-
Standing ovation ?????????????????????
Maybe she is a nice person in real life....she takes care of elderly.........
-
Karen...Did you faint???????
-
I'm not a happy camper, that is probably the only song she could legitimately scream her way through, she does help the elderly, as you say Sheila. I hated seeing that little pure singing girl go home, Janelle better get through just on the basis of her potential.
-
OK, now I'm a happy camper. Zonetta's spot shoud have gone to Rachel or the young one playing the guitar, just so glad Janelle made it through and shows all her potential. I don't like this wholesale 5 cuts with no voter participation, we are getting 4 people's opinion.
-
AI had a plan...but don't understand it....well
3 of my favors were chosen.....Rachel should stayed.......
-
Time for DVRed Survivor and Law and Order
Good Night everyone.....
♥

GOING HOME
Melinda Ademi - Well, that was fun.
I couldn’t understand a word she sang, except for the chorus of “No, no, no, no, no…” I was thinking the same thing. The judges were underwhelmed.
Juliana Chahayed – sooo sweet and innocent…only 15…..tremulous, whispery voice at times….plenty of time for her to mature and come back next year, or the year after that, or the year after that...
Jett Hermano – sat and played piano while she sang. I guess no one gave her the memo that there were SEVERAL cameras on her besides the only one she kept looking at…. I really expected some big finish at the end, but it never came.
Cristabelle Clack – She’s so pretty….why, oh why, did she dress like Minnie Mouse? The soulful rasp in her voice was getting plenty of play in her song, which, unfortunately was distracting at times.
Rachel Hale, aka “The Squinty, Smiley One”…. Did a fine job on stage… said she prayed for confidence and got it. Missed a few notes but otherwise did a nice job.
MOVING AHEAD
Candice Glover – Apparently making it all the way to Vegas last year helped her improve her confidence and stage presence. Even though she was fading in her low registers, she gave a great performance.
Aubrey Cleland – first contestant to really show the whole package….beautiful rendition of a Beyonce song, and she had great stage presence. Of course, NM was OBSESSED with her…
Breanna Steer – Another good performance, well-liked by the judges. Great control and stage presence.
Janelle Arthur – In her video, she described Dolly Parton as her hero. She sang a song by Lady Antebellum, but it worked against her. The song just kind of took over, and at times her lyrics were unintelligible because she was singing too fast to catch up. She does have a good voice for country, though, even though tonight she seemed “flat and disconnected” according to NM.
Zoanette Johnson: O. M. G. SERIOUSLY?
Lion King? Ya gotta hand it to her. This was the first I’d heard of her escape from war-torn Liberia at the age of 2. She sang the song mostly off key, but with enough spirit (and extreme volume
) to convince the judges that they loved her. Yeah, yeah, nice person, works with the elderly, wants to help those in need…..however, wasn’t this supposed to be a SINGING COMPETITION? And she was the only one who got a “Standing O” from the judges. Oh, well, what do I know. The sad thing is that I thought she had already been eliminated! Surprise, surprise!!!
-
I like Candice from this group.
Zoanette? I would rather they had given the spot to someone who seriously has a chance in the competition. Hope she doesn't stay around too long like that one guy from way back, Sanjaia. Those contestants are just credibility busters on the show (IMO.)
-
elimar...hahahaha i remember Sanjaya......We had quiet few that remained on the top...
Blessings....your reviews are perfect as usual.......with a great sense of humor....
-
Thank you, Sheila -
-
You're Welcome.....
NM looks normal again 2 nights in a row......Normal hair......
