We are each of us angels with only one wing, and we can only fly by embracing one another.

Bob Proctor: Quotations on Vision
To believe in the things you can see and touch is no belief at all. But to believe in the unseen is both a triumph and a blessing.

You can't change the past,

I found this
quote scribbled
in a book~~~my new mantra

Patti -
I love them all Patti, but I'm joining you -- this is an excellent mantra!!

Sherry~~
great mantra
isn't it~~
It is raining still...
Maybe it is not one of those showers
that is here one minute and gone the next,
as I had so boldly assumed.
Maybe none of them are.
After all, life in itself
is a chain of rainy days.
But there are times
when not all of us have umbrellas
to walk under.
Those are the times
when we need people
who are willing to lend their umbrellas
to a wet stranger on a rainy day.
I think I'll go for a walk with my umbrella.

When we get into
the habit of truly paying attention to life,
we often find
that miracles are all around us.
They are simply every day occurrences
seen more clearly.

I think laughter may be a form of courage.
As humans we sometimes stand
tall and look into the sun and laugh,
and I think we are never more
brave than when we do that.

the woods would be very silent

To BELIEVE
is to embrace the value
of a childs innocence,
and the beauty
of an aging hand,
for it is through their teachings
that we learn how to love. author unknown

We will only understand the miracle of life fully
when we allow the unexpected to happen.

"Make it a rule of life never to
regret and never to look back.
Regret is an appalling waste of
energy; you can't build on it;
it's only for wallowing in."
~*~ Katherine Mansfield

Those who can truly
be accounted brave
are those who best know
the meaning of what
is sweet in life
and what is terrible,
and then go out undeterred,
to meet what is to come...

That's a lovely thought Cherie.

To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded.

Don't fear failure so much that
you refuse to try new things. The
saddest summary of a life contains three
descriptions: could have,
might have, and should have.
