AMERICAN IDOL...Season 12 & The Voice...Season 4

Didn't think that was bad but then I like country so that may influence me a bit.
-
Thanks for the welcome.
I thought NM would want to be under the covers with Jimmy!
-
hahahahahaha
-
NM picked Charlie over Jimmy Smith, I'd love to see him get through, but I don't think he will, I agree with what Mariah said, "America needs a chance to see him".
-
Curtis reminds me a bit of Ruban Studdard... He has a beautiful voice. Just needs to make it relavent, aka marketable.... But really quite nice...
-
DEVIN VELEZ is my choice of the night......♥
Paul didn't do much for me but he is good for the eyes
-
Judges are very dry toast tonight......There is no excitement it's like they are rushing........
OMG I'm becoming so critical........
It's time for NM to cuddle with Jimmy.........
-
Oh Sheila, poor Jimmy, which Jimmy - the singer or Jimmy who decided the vote?
-
TOP 5 GIRLS FROM LAST NIGHT
-
No The Idol Jimmy
It's not your computer Karen...It's messed up again
-
Oh Karen... lol... Not sure which Jimmy I'd be more frightened for if hey hooked up with Nikki... Poor young Jimmy, the contestant, or Jimmy Iovine, the producer...
-
Hey.... The formatting just went all weird here.... Does anyone else see this?
-
Charlie, really, what a mistaken choice!!! The judges really messed up tonight. I know I'm a country girl but Jimmy had so much potential. Sheila, the Idol Jimmy would run in the opposite direction, as would Jimmy the singer. She lived up to my every expectation tonight and not in a good way. I'm venting, tonight was bizarre.
-
Yes Seaside....the same thing happened last night....MODS were very quick and fixed it.......
I'll send them a PM
-
Thanks Sheila!
-
I just did......
-
Night ladies, it was a strange evening but I always enjoy being with you.
-
Same here Karen...
Good Night All
-
Curtis soooo reminded me of Rubin !!!!
Charlie is so kooky, but he does have a great voice.
I loved Paul's voice, but I liked the guy who left last better.

Hi AWB.....
Curtis looks like a gentle guy...and he doesn't scream....
-
Oh, Sheila - you know I alllllways have an opinion or two or ten...
Right now I'm waiting for DH to get home from a meeting. AI just started ten minutes ago here in Cali. We'll start watching at 8:30.
We have it on DVR so we can FF through half an hour of commercials.

GOING HOME:
Johnny Keyser – tried to be more laid back than last year but ended up putting me to sleeeeeeeeep... He is soooo cute, but just not all there. Lacks control in his lower registers.
J’DA – O.K. Let’s go with the glam, glitter makeup and ponytail, or the moustache, goatee, and 5:00 shadow…but not all of them at the same time. Couldn’t pay attention to the song while watching him flop around the stage floor like a hooked trout. Nice Bondage outfit, though….Did anyone see the movie “The Birdcage”?
Kevin Harris – had a good voice early on, but tonight he was, well, underwhelming. Nicki thought he was perfection? Take out your earplugs and watch the rerun, Girlfriend!!!
Chris Watson – always makes me think of Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean. Tonight it was glitter-homey-rap-diva. Song choice was weird, vocals were weak, choreography was ridiculous. Mariah said “I heard your struggles (meaning emotions)…” and DH said “Yeah, to hit the notes…”
Jimmy Smith – I REALLY wanted Jimmy to go through because he is a Social Worker in a Dialysis Clinic. Oh, wait, he has to be able to sing, too…….never mind. Such a nice guy, though…
MOVING AHEAD:
Paul Jolley - oh he of the crippling insecurity…but whatta hunka hunka. Too bad the song wasn’t as hot. I like him a lot, though.
Devin Velez – Love this guy! Another poised 17 year old…. ….great voice, and VERY smart to toss in the Spanish lyrics! I think he was my favorite of the night.
Elijah Liu – REALLY cute, but at 18, he still sounds like he hasn’t hit puberty yet. Could see him doing an early Michael Jackson song. Again, Nicki thought he sounded awesome…perhaps I should send her some hearing aid brochures.
Charlie Askew – Ohhhhh, Charlie….I almost couldn’t bear to watch; I thought for sure he was going to drop that microphone, he was shaking so much! And WTH? He made it through?????? He says “I glorify weirdness!” Um, yeah. We can see that. Now if you could only SING……and I mean consistently....
Curtis Finch, Jr. – Well, duh. The guy has a great voice. I predict he will go all the way to the finals. But then again, what do I know about how America votes?
-
I think they should have put Jimmy through instead of Elijah but oh well what do I know... I just buy cd's and lot's of them!!! Ugh!! this year Idol is trying to hard to be like The Voice the only thing they haven't done is have the part of the competition where they have 2 contestants sing off against each other. Guess they couldn't copy them 100%
I don't like Idol this year at ALL!!!
-
Blessings...You did it again....I love it...
Bird Cage is one of my favorite movies...i watched it numerous times........
Renee...It feels like our right to vote was taking away...
Good morning everyone.......
