9-Letter Word Game

It may help if they ask lots of questions.
-
For example, is that angle the most oblique? It would be the obliquest.

-
And the better they get on the dance floor, the more conquests they will have!
-
their fluid motions belie their verbal deficiencies; their speech is the brusquest
-
And they need to brush up on their hygiene, that "unbrushed" look is NOT becoming!
-
they're so ill-kempt, it looks like they just survived a brushfire
(wanted to use bruschetta but alas ten letters)
-
(I know, I wanted to use that one too! LOL)
Good thing the firetruck came quickly to put out that brushfire! (Because I believe they DID survive a brushfire!). And OMG we get to gaze at those hunky firemen!!!
-
God Bless Firefighters!
They could put in a firebreak to control the flames.
-
Breaking news....."newsbreak"....the fire has been contained, thanks to the great work by the firefighters! The firebreak worked!
-
now the squad is meeting to analyze their response and get the full breakdown
-
And they are meeting in the breakroom where there is an ample supply of snack foods and drinks.
-
not as fancy, though, as what the big shots enjoy in the boardroom
-
I hope they get it all figured out and they don't end up in the courtroom!

Hi stride, glad you joined us here!!! The originator of this thread said we should change up to 3 letters from the previous word, which in this case, was "courtroom". Would you be able to post a different word? Would like you to keep on this thread, as its fun!!!

-
hi wahine and welcome stride! Here's an example:
courtroom
cloakroom
Or take a wrong turn and end up in the cloakroom.
-
It would be even worse to end up in the stockroom!
-
or a stockyard
-
Maybe they could get things all measured up if they had a yardstick...
-
but first, they have to put on some chapstick
(that was a tough one, wahine!)
-
whilst keeping a beady eye out for any CRACKPOTS nearby
-
Meanwhile we can cook up some yummy dinners with all our crockpots.
(Sorry bout the other word, badger....I get SO stumped sometimes too! But you always come up with awesome words. You too, dawny...that was a good one!)
-
but let's not invite the special effects guys with their strobe lights and smokepots
(no worries, wahine, it's all good! Even the part about being stumped, works the brain.)
-
because that may make it the SPOOKIEST show ever!
Wahine, you come up with some awesome words! I enjoy playing this immensely, thank you ladies! -
Agreed! The fun is in the kookiness
and having friends all around the world, that's so cool

-
and also in the goofiness
-
which is much better than aloofness
-
And results in gaining closeness with each other!
-
good thing we're all gifted with drollness.

-
Too early to think of a good sentence - could it be moldiness of the mind?
