while we rode their coattails
hi ladies!
-
While enjoying our cocktails!
Hi everyone!
-
whilst watching the cockatoos
(I dont know how to "bold" words on an IPad, does anyone else?) -
And the chef was making us a nice meal on the cookstove
(I've seen this both as cookstove and as cook stove).
Sorry dawny, I don't have an iPad, so have no idea! But you don't need to bold the words, we just do it when we are doing sentences, but we should be able to figure out which word you are posting, so no worries. What part of OZ do you live in?

...I'm afraid he'll overstock the pantry with weird s...uh, stuff
-
And he's fattening up the livestock...
-
...oh wait, that's not livestock he's fattening up, it's a group of politicians and each one bloviates non-stop ... from this angle they truly looked like heifers. It's a common mistake...
-
LOL, thats funny, Pallir!
And I'm hoping the politicians are not full of biotoxins!
-
...well, even if they are, it'd only hurt you if you ate one of 'em...best to gag 'em and put 'em in isolation; just to be on the safe side...for their own good, of course...
-
I'm sure they would expect mediation.
-
...but if they were to voice that expecation, that would be an indicator that someone forgot to put the gag in!
-
And with no gag, you can't stop them citing dictation!
Hi Wahine, I live in geelong, which is an hours drive from Melbourne, right on the south coast. Beautiful smallish city, beaches, Great Ocean Road, fantastic place to be!
Bama, pls excuse my ignorance, do you mean Alabama? I was born in England, but have been in Australia for most of my life. Never been to hawaii though, must put that on my "to do" list! -
Interesting, what direction our words have taken!
(Dawny, how neat! I've been to Melbourne twice, Sydney 3 times, Brisbane once, and Adelaide once. We have visited relatives our last 2 trips to OZ, that we didn't know about till about 3 yrs ago! They are in Sydney. YES, you are right, Bama stands for Alabama (mostly a place to stop in between our travels, LOL!).
-
No cretinoid (s) here!
Wahine, wow, you have been to Aus seven times! I have never been to Alabama, but would love to, I love to travel. You are really not there much at all are you? Lol -
What a wonderful, blessed day, to admire all of God's creations!
Hope Everyone is having a very Merry Christmas!!
LOL dawny, well I really only have been to OZ 3 times, but went to more than one city ea time! Heading to NJ this weekend for a wedding.
-
And a good time to have the camera ready to record their reactions
-
Time to put the cameras in the suitcases, and leave on another trip!
-
Remember your spacesuit,if you are flying high
Hope you are having a good time Wahine! -
in your spaceship
hi ladies, I'm just back from vacation. Got there & back in a plain old airplane.
Hope everyone had a nice holiday. Safe travels, wahine!
-
Hi girls! Hope you had a fun vacay Badger! The wedding we attended was SO awesome, couldn't believe how no expense was spared. Very top notch!!! We made it back to the hotel after 2 am! This afternoon a bco online friend and I will get to meet in person, as she lives here in NJ...can't wait! Gotta get dressed, so the maid can get our hotel room in shipshape condition....LOL.
-
have fun wahine, I have treasured every IRL encounter with a BCO sister!
I don't suppose you'll be meeting up on a steamship.
Had a great time. Did many fun things, one of which was part of my Christmas present - tix to the Southwest Florida Symphony "Holiday Pops" concert at Barbara B. Mann performing arts hall. The guest soloist was wonderful - Sara Dell'Omo. She sang "Mele Kalikimaka" and it made me think of you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hEvGKUXW0iI

Glad you had such an awesome time Badger! I am in the lobby now, but will see the link when I am back on my own computer. Thanks! Oh, and be sure to have a Hauolu Makahiki Hou! (Ok, please 'splain IRL....I cannot figure that one out, thanks!)
I just rearranged your word....a cruise ship would be better, cause then we could have more fun being shipmates!
-
yeah, especially if we grew up in adjacent townships
IRL = in real life
-
Ahhhh, in real life! Yup, that is sooo awesome to meet IRL (I catch on quickly!LOL). I treasure those meet-ups!
I wonder if the crosstown bus would go from township to township?
