Good morning..
Snow started getting heavy after midnight......It looks more than a foot
No power lost....cozy and warm.....I don't think i'll be taking a walk today.....I'm so happy to hear We all have enough panties......LOL
Diane....Feel better with that fever and stay warm
Joan.....Did you loose power?......why you needed a warm place to stay?
Chris-8 pounds=
We survived Nemo
Ducky...just in case don't sit on that recliner or go out try to shake the tree
Linda......Can you get out from the window in case of an Emergency?
-
I just opened the garage door so I can get out that way. Now the clean up begins.....
-
Hope those strong young boys of yours are holding shovels
Sounds like most of you have power, which is fantastic.
-
(((Diane)))♥
-
Have not gotten to the cars in the driveway yet.
-
Good luck Deb!
-
OMG Deb mouth is open.....that so sucks
Glad you all didn't lose power
Chris Shiela, Diane and Meece are you ok?
Ducky you are right we got nothing,
George shoveled....on my way to the library and walmart....really don't want to go out, been up since 430, can't shut my head off....seriously need undies.....

Ducky, LOL - just move the recliner?? I hope the tree behaves. The wind just picked up here again. We have well over a foot of snow - maybe 18"...and we have power and sunshine!
Sheila, as you said, it started to come down heavy and steady about midnight. The drifts are big...but we did not get the hit that northern Long Island got. (we were on the rain/snow line) DH is shoveling...I am not. I told him I am not interested in going anywhere. I trudged onto the deck and put out a huge oven sized pan of bird seed. I sank in snow over 3 feet. Overall, I am good....just relaxing and TOL
Now, let me explain...I did not need a warm place last night...DD invited me to GO to a warm place in April...I have free air miles...so anything's possible! -
WOW Deb......I remember a couple of doozies like that here. We actually have pictures of my then 5 year old who is now 44,jumping off our very high patio into a 6 foot drift. She went so far in, my older kids had to rush to dig her out.....their idea not mine. Good thing my husband was at work. Neither me, or the kids would be here today to talk about it. He was the type who checked the gas stove each night to make sure the knob was off, and actually spelled "off" each time he checked it.......had a fireplace.....he never lit it.....just as well I guess....cause "SMOKY" would have thrown water on it o put it out.....I do miss him though. I think he worried himself to death. Shocked cancer took him, and not a heart attack.
Don't overdue it Deb.......hugs
The rest of my gals...looks like you survived Nemo.....hey if the snow is deep enough, and you can't get out the door, can you find a drift deep enough and jump out your bedroom window........I can send you a picture of my daughter so you can see how it's done......lol -
-
Lol......that is what my daughter looked like when she jumped off the patio.........
-
Owwwww....so sore from shoveling - and it's not done yet. Want to dig more "trench" around to the boiler vent to make sure it's still clear...
I think I won't be able to move for a week...
-
Oh Deb!!! Take it slow...
-
Oh Deb...that picture is scary
Thanks Sandy i'm OK.....the sun is shining and total blue sky.....didn't go out
Maybe i jump out from the LR window.....I want play in the snow
Did you count all your panties today?
Chris...please take it easy
-
My stomach is TOL.........

2013 storm 2011 storm
2013 picnic table 2011 picnic table
-
I can't post pics here!! So tired from shoveling too. This sucks! I'd rather be washing Duckys underwear!
-
glad you all are ok with power.....what's for dinner?
hot chocolate in a couple....charli just left...she is such a good kid, so different here then at DD..
lol, me didn't go out.....
-
Linda......just had to go change my undies....peed them when I read your post. Lmao.
Just saw the evening news, and Boson is the talk of TV. You poor guys got whacked. They showed one house that the drift was above the door. The people inside took a picture with the door open. It was a friggin wall of snow. There was actually no access to the outside...other then the back door which was 1/2 way up. The front windows were buried too. You figure that was at least 6 ft, cause doors are over 6 ft. Amazing.....just stay warm. Hopefully you don't lose power. -
Glad I could make you laugh Ducky! Sorry about the added laundry!
-
Is this what your door looked like, Linda? (Caption was "Meanwhile in Massachusetts...")
-
Yes!!! I love it!!!
-
Did you get any undies Sandy?? Doesn't Ducky live close to you? Maybe you could have some of hers?
-
i love it Chris...
Ducky...I can use some bras...what size are you?
-
My bras are like bandaids. Probably wont fit you Sheila.
-
LOL....Mine still growing and growing....every pound I gained half of it went to my breast......
I don't even know my real size anymore...still wearing DD but it's too small...........
-
me too my weight goes right there and leaves it from there....
nope didn't go out, but no offense not wearing anybody's undies....
loving the snow up there, did you all go out and about?
Sandy
