Thanks Karen!!!

Kjliberty- we're with you. Ujayi breath ( from my post-cancer gentle yoga DVDs)
Sleep: waking up with insomnia was one thing, last 5 yrs. waking up cuz I can't get comfy is a new and infuriating twist. my MO doesn't seem too interested in it. rotten night last night, ambien tonight for sure
27th wedding anniversary today! Driving up the coast with DH to noodle around, trying to get festive. No more wine- but maybe some beer in the afternoon. And a mixed drunk doesn't seem to have the same effect as wine. What is it with wine? Ivvheard complaints before but it didnt use to bother me. Well, off to shower and get high on Aromasin, vitamin d, and biotin. -
Lisa: ENjoy your day! Happy anniversary!
-
kjiberty: your hair is beautiful.... mine is coming back curly but way slower than that. I am also 7 months pfc... maybe I need to get a trim too.
Happy anniversary Lisa:
Hugs to all xxx
-
Kjliberty, I also think your hair is very pretty. The curls are looser than most chemo curls, so it looks natural and full. My hair is coming in straight, but WAY more gray than I had before.
Happy Anniversary, lisa2012! Can't think of a more beautiful place to spend it than the California coast! -
I have been warned that at my age (49) my hair will most likely grow back a lot more grey than it was when it fell out. That seems unfair! But on the bright side, the MO said that at my age, the chances of chemo-pause being permanent menopause were pretty good. Be happy to skip the period thing. (I was told to keep using birth control for a full year after that last period just in case, though!)
-
kjberty, my hair pre chemo looked like that at the back; I have a photo of it at the back on buzz night but mine was grey; just hoping it will grow back as curly again and same colour as yours. LOL!
And you are on Armidex so I can really hope!
-
Folks, read Scorchy's blog, Feb. 1 posting: http://thesarcasticboob.com/
-
I read it. I'm sorry she feels that way, I feel sad for her and myself, because my MO said in less than 10years I could be right there in her place. I think about it everyday. And no I don't feel like I've survived anything.
-
Scorchy - sending you some hugs. You really are an amazing and strong woman.
-
Lorall: I do feel I have survived something... I may walk out tomorrow and get hit by a truck and die. I chose not to think about it. I live for NOW. And for NOW I survived cancer.
Just want Scorchy to know she is loved whether on a Survivor thread or a IV mets thread. Cancer has made us face our mortality.... I just told mine to fuck off for now.
-
Scorchy - sending you lots of hugs and support!
-
Scorchy-lots of ((((hugs)))) I am always here, I just don't post often.
-
I agree tomorrow is not promised. Live for today.
-
Scorchy, you're right...can't say I understand because I can only imagine but I can say that you must be one hell of a woman to go through what you have/are and still maintain a live life to the fullest attitude. Hugs and blessings to you!
-

Hi all,
Just wanted to post something that seems to be helping me. When my mouth feels tender and burning I can let two tums dissolve in my mouth and the ph changes so it seems to give me some relief.
Sheryl
-
Good to know, Sheryl.
Thanks, Ladies. I can't tell you how relieved I am! Thanks for your thoughts and prayers!
