We can't let our friends from the healthy boards read these posts! Took the birthday girl to chippendales last night! Our tab for 4 drinks was $82. That slowed down my alcohol intake quickly. We had front row seats. My DD was swooped on stage with all the hard bodies. We had a great time.Great dance routines......oh yes they did strip!! HmmmmmBeatmon
-
Lilah - that was not autocorrect. I always refer to facebook as faceplant

What no booze? Why did I not get the memo?
Saske - doing much better after the last fall from Jazzy. However, we are buried in snow right now and I can't get up the canyon roads to go see her until at least Monday. My trainer lives up there so she is riding her for me.
I have my BILs coming in and I can't wait to hear them complain about the snow, etc. It is supposed to be a low of 5 degrees tomorrow morning and these guys are from Texas and Florida. It is going to be fun for sure! All they are talking about right now is my homemade beer.
-
Wanna place a bet gals? Estepp seems to always be the first one posting on the new thread when it comes out - me thinks that Tracey lets her know when she is posting it so she can be first!
-
Lol Jancie.......traceyz is too busy to contact me like that.....lol.......lets call it fate....or tata tradition.....
-
Tracey.....call me.......bahhhhhhhhh
-
LOL Jancie that's a funny nickname.
And I'm pretty sure I beat Estepp ONCE as first poster (though completely by accident).

Blessings: I hope you do follow through and join us in Vegas this year. You may recall we chatted some time ago about my weight loss. I look forward to meeting you.
Oh, and EVERYONE: I registered for the Disneyland 1/2 marathon on Sept 1st!!! So, by Vegas I hope to be able to report I DID IT!!! I'm hoping if I commit it to public record (here) I might follow through and do it. Of course, my DIEP surgery May 24th will interupt my training, but only for a few weeks. The training before surgery will hel pme recover faster.
-
Hey, all. I promised Cheryl (Heymoose) that I'd come here more often and post once in a while. So here I am. Not much to report though. I am doing well. 5 years out now from the BC diagnosis. Yeah!! My arm finally stopped hurting from the melanoma resection. Now just following up every 3 months...next appt due in Feb 7.
Anxiously awaiting the Vegas trip. Can someone confirm the date for me? Did we agree on the last weekend in Sept?
-
Robin..yes...last weekend In sept...xo.....
Lol Lilah.. -
Hi all you lovely Ta Ta's,
The last weekend in September is the 27-29. I hope this is the correct dates. However Mom and I will be there earlier in the week. Okay I just had dinner with Mom and she has purchased three new tops for Vegas. Do you believe her. She told me last year was her last trip, well that just went out the window and she will be with us for our 5th year anniversary! Waaaaaa Hooooooooo!
Robin we seem to be on this site right after each other. I bet Laura will have the first post for the 5th Ta Ta reunion site.
Tracey, Laura and Gisella if you need some help let me know, I am available, since my retirement.
Hugs to all and have a good night. Cheryl -
All this talk makes me miss you gals so. We are at -25 with winds and just had a big snow dump here so feeling kind of house bound. Vegas seems so far away yet. May have to sneak in a trip to Phoenix next month.
-
Mom will never have a last trip to Vegas! LOL
saskie: brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
-
Mom......Pat......you are our Rockstar!
-
Cheryl congrats on your retirement and free time. And yes Pat is a rock star. Can't wait for #5 and to see everyone again.
-
What plays in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas! My husband and I brought home the flu. .....despite the flu shot. Sick as dogs.
-
Awe beat. ......that stinks...:(
-
When do you ladies think the new forum for the 5th reunion will begin. I cannot wait.
Time is going to fly for me. My daughter is getting married in May my youngest son graduates in June so by September I will need this vacation. Can't wait to see you all. I really miss you all! -
Sounds like you have a busy spring JKZ - can't wait to see you in the fall either.
-
Hi all,
I will pass on your compilments to Mom when I talk to her. She loves all of you.
GREAT news DH goes back to work on Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a relief that is. He is healing but his shoulder is still swollen and very sore. He will start PT in a couple of weeks. So now I will only have to make lunch and dinner. I am beginning to like cooking and eating at home. DH lost some weight and he looks good.
JKZ, my SD is getting married in May also and her fiance graduates the weekend before the wedding. What a month that will be.
Hugs to all,
Cheryl
P.S. Mom will probably be chiming in to say hi in a couple of weeks.
-
WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO JEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAHOOOOOOOOOOOO Cheryl !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fun times ahead for you !!!
I am not sure when the new thread will start. I will see if I can talk to Tracey...:)
-
Happy Dance for me!!!!!! DH is back to work and I love my alone time during the day.
Hugs to all,
Cheryl
-
Good for you Cheryl....I really dread when my hubby retires....I may have to get a job away from home when that happens.
-
lol Linda!!!!
-
Cheryl...I bet you are glad to have the time alone. I bought a new top for Vegas and some new shoes....just need to find some sexy slacks and a new dress. Can't wait!
-
Sounds like sooo much fun! Will try to get one of my survivor friends and go next year.
-
Robin, you sound just like mom. She will probably have her suit case packed with all her new outfits by the end of August. Lol
Bonseye, it is lots of fun, hope u can join us this year.
Linda, I almost went out looking for a job, but DH needed me at home. Well it was only for a couple of weeks, but i decided he would be back to work and I could really enjoy me time home. (LOL) unfortunately it was 7 weeks later!
Thanks again for all of your prayers.
Hugs, Cheryl -
Cheryl, glad to hear the husband is mended and back at work. You enjoy your me time and soon it will be reunion time again - LOL
-
I think 2013 will be the biggest badest reunion to date! We are goin' to take over VEGAS! EVERYONE should be there. Bring a friend or not.
I went out on a limb and came alone, knowing NOBODY. I made good friends, the nicest ladies. Everyone meets somebody who touches them forever.
Come, whether you know somebody or not. Come alone, bring a friend, but come.
-
Can anyone provide us with a summary of the September get-together (the 5th, right?!) How many people do you expect???
