Eli- Congratulations on the last one today!! Time to celebrate!
-
Yah for Eli. Yes, let's celebrate BIG TIME.
-
So here's some Friday music---maybe our Hobnobbing Heads can try this sound http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3TCZfP7K1Q a friend of mine just posted this on Facebook-I LOVE how these 2 sound!
-
Good for you Eli!!!!! YEY!!
-
I'm done...I'm done...I'm done, I'm done, I'M DONE! Done with radiation, done with chemo, done, done, DONE!!!
Well, considering that I woke up at 5 a.m. with my guts rumbling and never went back to sleep, I did a fair amount of skipping today. First a victory skip around the linear accelerator table, then a winding skip thru' the nurses station, a brief lobby skip. All that with my little chemo ball and chain still attached. After getting that taken off, more skipping ensued, with a few woot, woots on my way out of the MOs office. Finally, down in the big lobby, I arrived at the big brass bell. Rang that like I was on Wall Street the day Microsoft went public and accompanied myself on the tambourine for a more cacophonous effect. Both of my boys were there with me and, due to my verbal preparation, they knew better than to subdue me or to even feel the slightest embarassment.
Afterward, we walked across the street and fed some ducks with a (hot dog) bun.*
(*) Enacting an "Itchycoo Park" moment. Google the lyrics, you'll see.)

-
barsco- I LOVE RARE EARTH!
-
Eph - have heard that song numerous times, but I don't think I ever knew the name of the group that performed it.
Does Dubai ever do anything on a small scale? Beautiful to watch!
-
Elimar---Congratulations to you, and you look so beautiful dancing around. It's all to beautiful...
-
LorAll-Actually although I do look beautiful when dancing
that's Elimar in that little dance move video

-
-

-
Elimar doing happy dance with you so glad you are over this hurdle!!
Got my biopsy results today both were B9!! Fibroid chronic cysyts are what they called them I didn'tcare what they were once he said B9!! We had dinner with friends tonight what a load off my mind!!
-
carolynn79, I'm as happy as a boxer dog on a trampoline for you!
-
WooHoo Carollynn. Doin' the happy dance for you too. Dubai fireworks are in order again.
I'm going for mammo on Monday. Left side had followup in July with nothing found. This would have been my yearly date. Worried only in that mine was found on the mammo last January. Pocket party say around 9:00 Texas time? Know that's early but what the heck. You can jump back out and go back to bed.
-
Luvmygoats I will be in your pocket, never to early!!
Thanks Elimar that looks exactly like my sons dog Bruno, be careful he does not eat the trampoline!!
-
Congrats to all the Ladies! Looks like this was a good week for everyone.
-
Eli - I love the Boxer. Had one as a kid. In fact I read through the local Boxer adoption site not long ago. We only have a small backyard fenced with chain length. Fearful one would jump it easily. My rat terrier could climb it it she wanted. She climbed out of a puppy enclosure, no problem.
-
Elimar, what a great day - sounds like you celebrated appropriately! I am soooo happy that this rough journey is over!
First thing that went through my mind was The Who's "I'm Free":
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGa70tVYVKo
Very 70's video and the comments are funny - everyone is posting why they're "free".
carollynn - awesome! I know what you mean - once I hear benign I kind of tune out.
luvmygoats - I never mind getting up early when I know I can jump back in bed! Good luck on Monday. We also had a boxer when I was a kid - about 5 years old.
Eph - I loved that song. I knew my son would like it, too, so when he got home from school I played it for him. He already owns it. He got all interested where that was recorded because he's moving to Seattle at the end of the year. Ends up that concert was the last day of his internship. I swear all he's going to do when he moves there is go to concerts - Seattle has a great music scene. But yeah, I think the Hobnobbing Heads could play that - who's our singer? Let's do this thing!
I finally got the results of my Dec. 20th bone scan back and everything was fine. I'm just glad I finally got one - I think they should have done this when I was first diagnosed in May 2010, but at least it's done and now I can forget about it.
-
HnS76, Having to wait that long for results is a little squirrely, so this happy dance is long overdue.
-
Yeah, they broke me down and made me squirrely - and that was me this afternoon. haha, perfect!
-
Soooo happy at all the good news!!! Great dancing graphics, songs, fireworks ... but it all made me very hungry! So for those of us who bagged the diet for the New Year, and fell off the wagon ... enjoy
-
hns, I was worship leader at my church for a couple years so I can sing, I just prefer harmony over melody.
-
E~~~ I can feel your relief!! Hallelujah! WTG! You did it!!
Carollynn ~ love your news!
heartnsoul ~ finally! It's about friggin' time! -
Carollynn - wonderful news for you! My favorite letter/number combination.
Heartnsoul - glad that you finally got your results back. Even happier that there is nothing to report!
-
Eph, Cool's song is the song they always play during the survivors lap at our Relay for Life every year.
Enjoyed all the videos.
Great news for you guys!
