-
Kaza I'm glad u found a way to shop--that's my usual anyway or the shopoing networks--They had a georgeous medallion necklace on TV jewelry last night-(my budget is overdrawn this week) but it was beautiful as priced so resonably--so to me that's how to shop, so u can keep up with all of u'r shoppin and the delivery is pretty fast too, Hope u'r feeling OK.
-
camillegal.....i hope you are able to get that necklace when your budget allows....it is horrible when we see something we love but the bank says no!!!!! thankyou for your kind words...x

just found this thread...and yes yes yes...retail therapy is amazing.
The day my radiation was over I went to the mall and bought myself not 1 but 2 coach purses. I figured that I deserved 2 as both my breasts were taken so --ding ding--justified. My hubby had gone out of town for a snowmobile trip so he was none the wiser. He noticed my shiny purse about 3 months later and commented on how nice it was. He had no problem on what I spent that day on myself...guess he too felt that I deserved it.

Maggie,
You absolutely deserved the 2 Coach purses!! LOL!! Love your spirit!
Kaza,
Glad to hear that you treated yourself to a Kipling bag - the fuschia color must be beautiful!
To all,
Please be good to yourselves and if you need to gift yourself for the holidays, please do go ahead! Life is precious and to be enjoyed as much as possible.
-
Mags tnat's the way to do it.---Good for u and u do desere it,
Yesterday I got a purse and a little like clutch purse. I'm giing the purse to my dgtr for Christmas and the clutch to my sister, I also got my sister those slippers that u put in the microwae to warm them--she always has cold feet. She loes to shop, but it gotten harder (cancer too). so Little by little I'm getting things done.
-
I have never been a spender!! I've had my eye on an Eddie Bauer sweater in their catalog or about two months. Yesterday I was walking past the store and the sign said 50% off all sweaters, so.........then of course I needed to get the shirt that went best with it. Oh dear. But it's going to be cute for Christmas day......and it really does a great job of hiding my "under construction" phase.
-
Dulcegirl---OOD for u--itsn't it a great feeling getting a sale .
-
But Dulci, does it match your shoes? Oh what the heck, wear them even if they don't match.
-
ROFL!! Doesn't match the shoes at all!!!
-
Dulcigirl,
Time to go out shopping again for the matching shoes!! Or you could wait for the bigger sales after Christmas!
-
I'm waiting for the after holiday weight loss!!!!
-
Ladies....don't want to make you jealous but I have been battling weight all my life, however, I seem to be one of the few who actually loses weight on my Letrozole.
I have gone down to a size 8 and have stayed that way since starting L.....love it....
I can go to the stores now and just about any style looks good on me now. However, I do consume a LOT of fibre daily...hmm....maybe that's it. Can't wait for Boxing Day to hit the malls. This will be the first time in thirty years where I'm not spending all day in the kitchen trying to produce the "perfect" Xmas dinner" ....going to my cousin's who lives near Niagara Falls...outlets, here I come💃 -
The nicest thing about shoe shopping is that a good shoe looks great whether your weight is up or down. Shoe shopping is never depressing like bathing suit shopping or bra shopping!
-
pj12...indeed...shoes are always friendly! Did you see the movie In her shoes?? Love it. I just seem to be packing on pounds daily since this all started. Even chemo made me gain. Soooo...,.shoes and purses it is!

Scottie glad to hear u'r weight loss---but it wasn't necessary to put i'r size in there. I'm so green with envy.
Yes shoes, purses, jewelry annd scarves are my friends. I have 2 Christmas purses that I use now and they're just fun.
-
Ok.....here's another size....shoe size 10!!!!!!!! Still jealous......lol
-
OK Scottie --yes I'm a 12.
-
At the Christmas party yesterday, I sat next to a woman I've known for years, first at work, then in our quilting class. But I don't recall ever seeing her feet.
But sitting next to her, her shoes were in full view. She had the most petite little feet! Our other friend laughed and said she had little girl feet. I asked what size shoe she wore - it was size 5!!! She said that sometimes she shopped in the Kids Shoe department.
-
Two things I liked about my body, my small (size 6) feet and my boobs. Well at least I still have small feet.
-
Blessings and Jamie those are baby feet---My 8 yr. old Grandson wears a size 7---we just have bi feet in our family--not a pretty sight.
-
Oooooo I'm so excited- my jimmy choo purse is to be delivered by the end of today! I hope that it is as fab when I actually see it as it was/is in the picture at Nordstrom.com....
-
Merlcat, Congrats on your new Jimmy Choo purse! I am sure you will enjoy it!
-
Merlcat - well, is it all that you hoped for?
-
Merlcat---good for u--hope u love it.
-
Well- since I'm usually one to try really hard to fly WAY under the radar, although I don't often succeed even though I tend to try and wear dark colors most of the time, it's a lot brighter than I'm used to but since its pebbled(?) it doesn't look like tin foil (bleck) so I'm really digging on it. Yay! I'm happy! It's my belated birthday, great pathology report "I love me" present to myself
-
Yay you, Merlcat. Enjoy!
-
So glad for you Merlcat!! I have been eyeing a Marc Jacobs handbag and am considering getting it as it has been marked down in price. It is a beautiful blue color and usually, I too like to fly way under the radar with my dark clothes (handbags included!!).
