Good night!
-
FUZZAROO, I think I'm feeling your anesthesia. Smile. If there is a group practice of psychiatrists/psychologists, I think I'd look around and go to a visit or two, and then make a decision. The good thing is, you'll hopefully get feedback on the hell your current MH is giving you, and perhaps they'll have some wonderous medication solutions for you, and even HELP you personally FEEL BETTER for crying out loud. You are my dear, dear friend, and I have seen a lot of psych people, and some are great and some are not. They all seem to be trying, though. Hahahaha. Anyhooooooo, hope you is feeling like youre supposed to right now! And remember, when they ask if you need pain meds, you say, "Oh, Lord Yes, I NEED pain relief in the worst way!!!" Love you, you little fuzzy you. GG
-
I feel like I have accomplished something today. I made homemade stuffing and have a turkey cooking. We are having an early turkey dinner just because. So if you don't hear from me today, I am making a pig out of myself.
Still feeling good after surgery...painfree. Never would I have believed that.
-
Veggy. So glad you are pain free. Also so good you feel like doing something like cooking and pigging out!!!!!!!

I so love you all. I'm not Clark right now but I Think surgery was way linger than planned I they woke MT up by reversing my pain meds because I wouldn't breathe on my own...more tomorrow.
XOXOXOXO -
Fuzzy-I'm sitting there next to you.
-
Veggy...I know you are: ) My super awesome doc was just in...while he was reconstructing me he "looked around"...I knew he would and its "a wasteland" in there!! WHOOT WHOOT! I've had ZERO scans/tests so I was pretty nervous!!
Apparently I had a bad reaction to the anesthesia and they had to take action. I have a really pretty view of Lake Michigan and downtown Milwaukee. And, my suitcase...hee hee.... -
Last night my sister and I were sitting in the den and I said to her, "I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle to keep me alive. That would be no quality of life at all, If that ever happens, just pull the plug."
So she got up, unplugged the computer, and threw out my wine.
She's such a bitch. -
Oh veggy..your humor is back...im soo glad ..you lound like your old self.and pain free....yay.
soo i wont used the broom ill bum a ride with you on the vac!!!!!!!but im there.

-
Granny....OMG! My LE flared up yesterday too!!! Deep breaths, massage your belly, sternum, sides, rub your nodes and make them happy!
-
Thanks fuzzy.I wasnt sure exactly what to do.been doin that all day on and off.
do you know what brought it on.
i have at least 5 reasons why this happened.do you?
Im in the house with no bra on and im not in any pain.
im not happy but im damn well gonna try to make those nodes happy.
-
Hi all. Veggy and Fuzzy pleased to hear the joking. Do hope the LE settles down though Fuzzy.
Have just about finished decorating the house - we had visitors last night so wanted most of it done for then. Still have some lights to putr up but they can wait for a couple of days. Managed to have a BBQ outside which was great, only having to come in for coffee and dessert.
Hope you are all having a great weekend.
-
Granny you're cracking me up!! Ok...what are the five reasons? LOL
Sassy....I see I've missed your call! Wanna chat tomorrow? -
Alyson----you are lookin sooo good-- old friend.soo nice to see you again.
Fuzzy ok you want the 5 reasons 1-lifted up my GGrandson who is 22 lbs.1-2x
pushed my shopping cart that weighed about 75 lbs.round 3 corners in my bldg.
carried a box of pyrex 20 pc.set all through kmart cause i forget a shopping cart and my GD was riding around to keep the kids quiet.rush rush
#4 i had pneumonia on that side and that could have caused it
and last but not least have not been doin my stretches nor my massages like i do every day.Sandy made me sooo sick
now did any of that bring it on????bottom line im havin a flarup.
-
Granny be careful and don't carry things on that side. Yeh I know, pot calling kettle names mine will flare at the slightest thing. Even putting up the Christmas tree yesterday - had to stretch at times now paying for it.
-
Ah...today is GO HOME day!!! I've got major medicine head going on right now....ugh. but, looking forward to getting this IV out! Then I'll shower and pack up!
-
There is a rumor going around about me. Someone asked my sister if it was true that I was dying. The last time I checked I felt pretty good. I'm trying o figure out how that one started. UGH!
I told a friend of mine that I wanted a hat with dredlocks. The got me a bandanna with dredlocks on it. I love it! I might wear it to my appointment tomorrow witht the PS.
Fuzzy- I hope you are home by now and relaxing.
-
A bandana with dreadlocks sounds great! I would wear it everywhere.
-
Ohhhhh, Fuzzy, I'm glad you made it through alive. I hope they give you a prescription for some fun pain medications. I had been up early today, and do you know that after I had been up four hours, I realized I totally forgot to take my morning dose of drugs. I should be feeling pretty fine here shortly. Oh, Fuzzy, I know you will be so glad to come home to your little doggie and your comfy home and can goof off for a while!!! Oh, if I could give you a wish, it would be a star, and I think tonight is when there's an alignment of three planets/stars, they like to photograph them over the Pyramids so they'll sort of go together. Oh, don't get me started on Egypt and anthropology and politics.
Ladies, husband gave me some special support type socks. And I already have a sleeve to squeeze my arm. My left leg and left arm, I also have to rub it all the dang time. The swelling is from lymphedema, just a tad of it, and pain from plenty of peripheral neuropathy. Plus I fell on the front porch bringing in groceries, my foot tripped on the top step. Husband pulled me up because all I could do is lay there. Well, my landing on my left side, it went all down into that leg, and made it hurt and my upper arm hurt. See, WE know what all this means and we can tell each other, but who the hell else is wanting to hear all that junk. Some of you others, the ones who have this health problem or that body part issue, a prayer goes up as soon as I read it. I may not mention each of you, but I hear you.
Veggy, I am glad you are hanging in. You bring us so much delight and inspiration. You're just plain lovable, I guess.
Have you all ever sat around and daydreamed about things you'd like to do, some REAL things that you are blocked from doing, and of course marrying Brad Pitt stuff, too. Well, I'm getting really piled up with wanting to at least do some sketches so later I can paint them when my hands are a little steadier. And I pulled out my guitar and tried to play it for a little while, but the neuropathy makes it hard. I really need to practice that thing, it gives me so much pleasure to play it and sing. I think if I soaked my hands in cool water for a while, took my medicines just before that, I MIGHT be able to fool with it. Trouble is it's a steel-string 12-string guitar, very hard to push down and play correctly. And one time I had anoher steel-string regular guitar, and I took the steel ones off, and put on softer nylons, and it ruined the sound of the instrument. So, those are my daydreams, altho frustrating. Anything you all been focusing on? Take care, all, don't do too much, and it's okay to play the cancer card during the holiday. Smile. GG
-
Hello ladies...I'm home and so glad...puppy too hee hee...but I'm wiped out. I guess its a lingering effect from the reaction to the anesthesia. I just wanted to stop in and say hello. I'll be back soon. I'm very very stiff and sore...front and back...
Is Tamoxifen a drug that's addicting? How long can you be off of it before weird things happen? Other than pain meds, I haven't had any drugs since Thursday. And...I like it....oh boy....!!! -
