    holy dooley - just over two weeks till touch down! Trish meet you at the hotel around 2.45, if flight is on time. Ill come straight up to our room - so hold off exploring until I get there OK? xxx

    bah, i just found this thread. Sorry ladies, i had no idea it was here.

    I intend to have Friday & Saturday off completely but I may hve to head off about 11 on sunday if I cant get a staff member to cover my shift. I would love to meet up early as possible so we can get the most out of our get together.

    Linda my flight lands at 10.15am on the Friday morning, so depending on how I get from the airport to the city, and how long that takes (?) I should be there before lunch anyway.  Do you want to come to the appartment before lunch sometime and we can have lunch while waiting for Kate?

    My flight leaves on Sunday at 2.10pm, so I guess it depends again on how long it take to get to the airport and how I get there as to what time I leave.

    I'll pm you my mobile number so you have it, and if you can give me yours we can get in touch once I land in Brissy :-)

    I can't wait either! 2 weeks tomorrow lol

    Kate, what time does your flight get in? if its close to Trishas at 10.15 maybe I can come and pick you both up and drive us to the apartment.

    I feel a bit like a stranger inviting myself to dinner, but I am in Brisbane and I would love to join you ladies if you don't mind. I don't post here a lot as I am now eight years out and I am no longer having any treatment. However I have been on the boards a long time and I have chatted with a couple of you previously.  Dinner Friday sounds lovely if noone minds me tagging along?

    Trish, Racy has made a booking at Georges for 6pm. Not sure of the address though but I'm guessing it will be within a reasonable distance to where you are staying.



    Getting closer and the excitement is building!.......lol.......I can't wait!!!

    Ladies, Georges Paragon Eagle Street about 300 metres from where you are staying. They have a sitting area at the front, inside, where we can meet :-).

    I will go out on the Friday night - I'm not that much of a party pooper :) Seeing I'm having the day off, I'll be relaxed enough.

    Racy - I hope you booked enough seats for all of us. Steve can drive us in to town.

    Ooh La La... sounds like it will be a really lovely venue and will give us 'tourists' a great look at Brissy from a differant angle.     Can you give us a summary of your lovely meetup! How many are coming? Traveling how far, etc. SOOOO amazing that you have met on BCO!! Love this!! (especially cool since most of us are in the US).

    Mods, there will be seven of us; four from Brisbane, one travelling from south of Perth on the other side of the country (not sure how far in distance but it's a six hour flight); one from South Australia (three hour flight?) and one from New South Wales (about 700 miles).
