Who do you see at MDA?

Thinking about getting 2nd op there.  Any experience good or bad with any docs in particular?  I don't care what stage you are to answer!  Just had to start the thread somewhere, I guess.  I am scared about starting over, but healthcare is a wreck where I am and I can get there easily.  I'm so high risk it never feels like I'm on any sort of auto-pilot for followup.

    Outfield- You don't have your location listed so wondering which MDA facility you're asking about? I was seen at MDA in Gilbert (Phoenix area) by Dr Mary Cianfrocca. I really liked her. Very thorough but down to earth and approachable.

    I live in Birmingham, AL and am being treated at UAB, a fine hospital, but decided to get 2nd opinion for treatment at MDA.  It took me a couple of weeks to get them everything they wanted, but I went and was seen by Dr. Kimberly Koenig, whom I liked very much.  It is a beautiful facility and very well run.  Dr. Koenig agreed with my treatment plan, suggested adding bone strengthening drug and ending Abraane at 12 treatments.  I have peace of mind not that I have been seen at two of the best cancer hospitals in the country.  If I have a drastic change in my condition, I will fly out to Houston to get their thoughts on any new treatment,  My insurance paid for most of it.  Glad I did it.
