The mirror is quiet.  Waiting for their cues from Trump, Fox, Rove or Romney?

Trump says this proves we are not a democracy. The idiot is right - we're a republic. The type of system we employ is a representative form of democracy (meaning the people vote for people to represent their views instead of directly participating in every bit of legislation). This was done to weigh the needs of the people (the house of representatives) in balance with the needs of the states (the senate).

Isn't that bad luck?

5 minutes from Mr. Romney's remarks.  MSNBC speculates possible meltdown.  Update - Romney has called Obama to congratulate him...guess he is conceding.

I love Twitter.  Except for rumors that can run wild, it's the closest thing we have to realtime democracy.  Has so many values that I'm just discovering.

And yes, WR -- those steadfast folk who stood in line for hour upon hour to exercise their franchise have our utmost respect.

I think that the Romney campaign truly believed they were going to win and so had not spent any time on a concession speech.  I think the delay in make the concession was because appropriate comments had to be drafted.  I think Romney's speech was fine. 

The election is over and the Supreme Court is safe for another 4 years, so now we all have serious problems to resolve.
