We go a doggie tody--a Border collie--a boy one. So my Katie-Kt has to get used to this cuz she's the queen here. He's super nice so as long as she show him she's boos it'll be fine--they kissed for a second then she hissed at him. My cat is so gentle when she show a temper around another pet she scares me
I hope ever one is having a good day---It gets dark so so early Cheers.

Hi goils! Bernie I got Skype just add 37 to my tag and you'll find me.
Well my goils came up yesterday and we all went to lunch at the restaurant where my DD2 wants her wedding reception. After lunch which was soooo yummmm by the way, we had some very fruitful discussions with the proprietors. They, I think, are as excited as we are as we will be their first wedding but by the sounds it's going to be fantastic!! Now we Kat wait to find out what the cost is going to be .........why oh why must there be a bottom line on everything?! Guess we'll just have to save real hard for the next year.
Have a good one all!! TITZ UP!!!!!! -
Oh Cami, what is your new furbabies name? Our Maverick is half border collie....they are so smart and so loyal and loving. Hope your Katie-Kat will like him...funny they kissed at first! Dinner was soooo yummy.....mongolian beef, so tasty. Yes, it sure does get dark early now...gotta get used to it.
I am SO much happier now, getting some sleep, feeling human again. WooHoo!!!!
-

Our story begins at the Olympics, specifically the wrestling event. It
is narrowed down to the Russian or the American for the gold medal.
Before the final match, the American wrestler's trainer came to him
and said, "Now don't forget all the research we've done on this
Russian. He's never lost a match because of this "pretzel" hold he
has. Whatever you do, don't let him get you in this hold! If he does,
you're finished!"
The wrestler nodded in agreement. Now, to the match: The American and
the Russian circled each other several times looking for an opening.
All of a sudden the Russian lunged forward, grabbing the American and
wrapping him up in the dreaded pretzel hold!
A sigh of disappointment went up from the crowd, and the trainer
buried his face in his hands for he knew all was lost. He couldn't
watch the ending.
Suddenly there was a horrible scream, and a resounding cheer from the
crowd. The trainer raised his eye just in time to see the Russian
flying up in the air. The Russian's back hit the mat with a thud, and
the American weakly collapsed on top of him, getting the pin and
winning the match.
The trainer was astounded! When he finally got the American wrestler
alone, he asks, "How did you ever get out of that hold? No one has
ever done it before!"
The wrestler answered, "Well, I was ready to give up when he got me in
that hold, but at the last moment, I opened my eyes and saw this pair
of balls right in front of my face. I thought I had nothing to lose,
so with my last ounce of strength I stretched out my neck and bit
those babies just as hard as I could. You'd be amazed how strong you
get when you bite your own balls!" -
LMAO BErnie, did not expect THAT ending!
Cami, Sweet name....Sox...! Yes, it has been quiet, but TOMORROW you should hear a couple of dwunks in FL....namely Alli and Cyn, whooping it up and hollering! LOL. They will have a blast together, I jest know it.
Glad you're having a good time, Julie!
Still waiting to hear when your bday is, Lara....
Where the heck is our Dotty???? She been MIA tooooo long....dotty can I coax you here with a JD and Diet? Speaking of coax.....we passed a street called "Short Cox" in Asheville...funny. OH and did I tell you all there were black bears at our condo bldg in Gatlinburg? The gal in the office which is near the road, and a small separate bldg (condo was 3-4 tall towers behind office), went out for a cig break one night while we were there last week, heard loud breathing, turns around and there is a big black bear a few ft away. She jumped, the bear jumped (lol), and she was able to get back in the office. I guess she scared the bear as it scared her....I told her...."You know, smoking kills...". True story though. Would have liked to have seen one, but not THAT close. And our condo was near the main drag. Scary!
Night night girlz, sleep tight...
Katwinka hoping to get some more sleep

Good morning, Loungettes! Enjoying having some extra time this am, since my body clock hasn't adjusted to the time change yet.
Cammy--I don't volunteer with the Red Cross, but I sometimes donate to a specific relief effort. More than 10% of donations go to admin costs now, so I need to find a new place to send my money. My personal requirement is less than 10% of donations going to admin.
Wahine--lots of men get LE after rads for prostate cancer--they get it in their legs but it's usually misdiagnosed as venous insufficiency. If it were diagnosed correctly I bet there would be a cure by now.
DorKable--so cute that your donation is being billed to the x-DH! Very funny!
Mema--I know how playing ketchup can be a losing battle. Just jump in where you are!
Chrissy--Mother Nature IS a fellow female, so I like to take lessons from her in the tantrum throwing department.
BBBBernie--my new Kindle Fire says it has Skype, but I've never looked into it and have no idea how it works. . . .Great pic of a sun dog. Haven't seen one in a long time!
Cammy--Hooray for the new puppy, and I'm sure the kitty and the puppy will work out their hierarchy, just make sure YOU are the alpha biotch!
BBBBernie--LOL!!!!!!!
Princess Glitter Sizzle's DOTD is the Hurricane Helper
1 oz Apricot Brandy
1 oz Burbon
1 dash Lemon Juice
Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well, strain into a highball glass and serve.
