You know, re: Jessica Ainscough, I saw a post on her blog that referenced tumors breaking through the skin on her arms.  It wasn't an actual post - it was in the comments section of a post.  I can't find it now.  Anyway, she said some tumors had vanished and some were breaking through her skin, which she attributed to the therapy expelling the cancer from her body.  She said that she would post pictures, but never did.  I was very curious to see them.  Her arms look fine in the photos she has up now, though.  I would say that if the tumors are breaking through the skin after two years of the therapy, then she is not a success story.  But if she is cancer-free, then she is.

FWIW, I like her blog for the recipes, etc.  I'm interested to see how her mother does with the Therapy.  Hopefully, she will do well.

Lightandwind, that was the research I found.  And while it is not a huge group of subjects, it was still significant that almost all of the patients that the naturopath followed died.  However, I don't know what their stage was.  If they were all Stage IV in 1983, their prognosis would be very bad no matter what they did.  But if they were earlier stage, then you would certainly be able to expect several of them to still be alive at the five year mark.

As much as I love Gerson Therapy, I believe that the liver detoxification is not as effective as the liver and gallbladder flushing of the gallstones and intrahepatic gallstones for detox that Dr. Gonzalez and Andreas Moritz have used on all cancer patients.  Dr. Gonzalez uses both types of detox - 2 coffee enemas a day and monthly liver flushes as needed.

The flushes are safe procedures that use olive oil and lemon or citrus juice, epsom salts and apple juice to soften the gallstones, relax the bile ducts, and flush out the trapped stones.  I skipped the 6 days of apple juice preparation since I already juice bags and bags of Granny Smith apples with my vegetables.  I do my coffee enemas and gallbladder flushes but not on the same days.  It's a more powerful total body cleanse.  I've heard that virtually every cancer patient is packed with gallstones and these intrahepatic gallstones are involved in the progression of almost every known illness.  I have done four flushes so far and I think I finally got them all out and have noticed a great improvement in my health already.

Oh no, I've just read on his site that Andreas Moritz has just died.  I can't believe it.  RIP, Andreas.  There is lots of sadness here today.  He will be greatly missed.

My naturopath wants me to add ground milk thistle seed to my smoothie to detox my liver.

How do you know when your body expels gallstones?

Sweetbean, you can't miss them.  They are round and green from years of being in the bile solution.  They look just like green peas and they float!  There are so many of them packed inside of the gallbaldder that you wouldn't believe it.  I felt them rolling out of my gallbladder went I went to bed the first time.  After the first flushes, the intrahepatic stones will move forward and the liver will be cleared of these stones.  Those were not round but light brown in color and flatter and longer that the green ones, some small like sesame seeds.  I passed one the size of a quarter.  The gallstones are cholesterol deposits that contain toxins that the liver wraps up to store away.  They are produced when we eat refined, processed foods and too much animal protein.

Here are sone images for you to look at.

    https://www.google.com/search?q=andreas+moritz+gallstones&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hl=en&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=pHKFUIGIGaiE0QGUu4DYDw&biw=1150&bih=604&sei=s3KFUPJJ7IHRAd6OgeAD

I just read a wonderful testament to the healing power of these flushes and to the ineffectiveness of traditional cancer therapies.  Many experts are coming forward and stating that there is a cover-up in the cancer industry that I can no longer ignore.  Many people are waking up to it and now want alternatives to mainstream medicine.

I hope you are on a full body detox with the milk thistle for 21 days.  I heard it is dangerous not to cleanse on the cellular level when doing a single organ cleanse.  I juice organic fruit and vegetables so these are quite cleansing but I think flushing with lots of water is also detoxifying enough but I'm not completely sure.

Just reading through some newer threads....  Sweetbean, before you try something "new" and definately not advised by the medical community, you might want to watch this..

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioZOcAFjLfM

Alternative treatments do have a place, but not without standard medical treatment for most cancers, including Breast Cancer.  Also, the coffee enemas can be VERY dangerous!   But everyone can do what they believe is best....  it is your body.

Have you all seen the video put out by this lady?  She was a nurse and used the Gerson Therapy.  View Gerson Therapy- A Nurses Testimonial here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APcFISE2EyQ

I would ask Jessica Ainscough, The Wellness Warrior, before asserting "the coffee enemas can be VERY dangerous!"  Did you know coffee enemas are not new?  Do a little more research on the subject and you'll find that they were being done before the Gerson Therapy was even in existence :)

I know they were in existence before the Gerson Therapy, but that doesn't change the fact, that they are NOT endorsed by the medical community.  People can believe anything they want, and do whatever they want to with their bodies, BUT.....These methods are not proven!  Maybe someone does these things, and they all of a sudden "get well."  That doesn't mean the enemas, or other de-tox ideas made them better.

My friend,  (my Daughter's friend) who just passed away, did not WANT to have radiation nor chemo after her surgery.  Instead she and her DH went to Brazil, or where-ever "John of God" lives.  He is supposed to be this "healer" with his methods and beliefs.    They came back home, and within 6 months, she had to go on chemo!  Her cancer had spread everywhere!  Sure, maybe it would have anyway, but she didn't care what her medical team advised her after her surgery.

She was then on chemo for another 6 months, went to a nursing home, then hospice.   She died in my Daughter's arms....  She had told my Daughter she should not have gone to Brazil, and taken care of things like her team suggested.

It's just so sad.... to lose someone...someone who will try ANYthing to get well, but will not listen to the medical profession.....

I wish you well, and please take care of yourself.

Hi, without having to go through crazy like diets and only eat certain foods, you can get Hijama or Cupping Therapy done, please read up on it, it has a wondrous effect on boosting one's immune system in no time, and hence overcoming any potential or current ailment...i know several people who opted out of Chemo due to its multi hazards and did Hijama and they are cancer free now for many years...all the best

Okay, I looked it up.... Is THIS what you mean?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hijama

I guess people can do whatever they want with and to their bodies, but some of these "treatments" just do NOT seem to be nothing more than witch-craft!  This ranks right up there with "blood-letting!"

I would undergo chemo, rather than something like that....  Like my friend I talked about earlier.... She believed in John of God, and she put her trust in his beliefs, and died of mets.....  Even the chemo couldn't save her..... It was all just too late.

I hope somehow the Moderators remove this thread.... these so-called treatments belong somewhere else, and not on BC.ORG.

    Chevy,

I'm not sure it's the topic per se that needs to be removed as much as it's the brand new posters who just seem to gravitate to this forum with these posts.  It's always a red flag to me when suddenly this brand new poster signs up to BCO and posts only on this forum.  Not sure if they're even women with breast cancer, maybe they're just getting their kicks, but it's sick how they can affect people who really do have breast cancer.

Let's be kind and welcoming to our new friends. Negative statements usually reflect directly from the person making them more than anyone else.

Remember, this is the Alternative Forum and you don't need to read here if your day is ruined by alternative ideas.

Blessings! Get outside and enjoy the beauty of our changing seasons.

Thanks Mods.... Yes, digger, I see what you mean....  those posters don't include any of their stats.  YOU have been around here a long time...and me, for just 3 years...

It's just amazing to me that some women believe this stuff!  And then to post it on a community forum!

My day isn't "ruined" by alternative ideas....I actually do believe in some of them.... but not ones that include coffee enemas, or blood-letting.

I just hope our newer members don't believe in this hocus-pocus.

I have an idea.... just ask your Doctors what THEY think of these suggestions!

Doctors? Why-they're just profit-seeking, money-grubbing terror mongers! Who would ever trust a doctor? Let's trust someone with a website instead!Tongue Out

Now THAT'S funny, Ha!  Yes, guess this IS just a place to blab anything we want, or any belief we have! But when I read some of this "stuff" it just makes me hope to God that newly diagnosed women WITH breast cancer to not fall for this "alternative" baloney.

    It's like a Public Service announcement...Wink

"Hijama"....... If anyone here has actually tried this, then post it on some sort of forum that does not have women with Breast Cancer looking for answers, like comfort and support!

Oh! And thanks!  I HAVE been outdoors enjoying our changing seasons.....  AND being NED for 3 years AFTER conventional medicine.

Digger - where have you been? We missed you.

Mary and Chevy - spot on comments. Some of these treatments are totally unproven and dangerous.

    Eliza,

Thanks for the reminder. Yes, I seem to remember the traditional Merck Medical Manual prescribed coffee enemas for detoxing the liver during illnesses. Coffee enemas were standard of care medicine for 100 years.

I believe a reporter reviewed the Gerson Clinic records and followed up after 5-10 years. Ralph Moss has also done this. For some reason the Gerson Protocol has the best success with melanoma. Breast Cancer Advocate Ann Fonfa (the annie Appleseed Project) reported on her stay at the Gerson Clinic 18 years ago. It's somewhere on the web. Both she and her roommate had breast cancer. Gerson worked for her roommate buy not for Ann. Ann moved on to other alternatives and is still very much alive after 18 plus years!

That is interesting that the Gerson Therapy has had success with melanoma.  Melanoma is an immunologic cancer - it responds to immune-boosting therapies in a way that breast cancer does not.  I'll look for Ann Fonfa's blog.

Hi - the new Gerson thread caught my attention, read fully.  Welcome to the new ones.

Cesium chloride, the FDA taketh away because some choices like this one we can kill ourselves off.  It will not work unless the food protocol is stringently followed anyway.  It is to raise the pH.  There are other safer ways to do so.

Laetrile, allegedly in several forms now, the laetrile is effective no matter what one is doing.  There is info in the Laetrile book and Outsmart Your Cancer book on what it is and why FDA dismissed its use for a time.  It can be ordered again, but bite your nails bcz doubt it will be for long.  I swear by the Laetrile.

Gerson Therapy, I am too weak and not wealthy enough to use it no matter what way I kick it around.  I have a vague theory that it will work and well but if going off it, the c comes back bcz the reason was not addressed and the deep root of it not cleared.  Nutrition andcleansing may not be enough.  But alternatives can be, given the right protocol choices for the one person who needs those.  Very specific needs.

Very upset with deleted posts.  Just because BCO doesn't support these diets doesn't mean comments should be deleted unless they were rude or disrespectful.  I don't understand such the vehement lack of support for alternative treatments!  Just like alcohol and cigarettes can cause cancer...so, can a healthy cancer diet cure cancer!  I have been in contact with many women who have cured their cancer the alternative route!  Why should this not be celebrated as well?

Most likely the deleted posts were from the usual Saturday night forum disrupters, not from serious students of alternatives. The moderators try to keep on top an any such vandalism to this forum. Thank you, Mods.

Not to worry, Joellelee! Upward and onward Laughing  Let's keep the discussion going and not get distracted.

Seems we all agree that posts should not be deleted!  I personally hate finding posts deleted like this.  I didn't read these before they disappeared, but I sure wish they could be left up for discussion.  Are we not reasonable adults capable of discussion without the deleting games, immature name-calling, and silly accusations of "vandalism(?!)"?
