And then there is the China connection! Sending jobs to China, getting -- what?! -- in return? A China-Mexico smuggling route, that's for sure. And that hair he has been cutting ... What has he done with THAT?

I am Robme's Canadian wife.  Nevermind that DaVirg hates him but I don't care.  I just love the way he sing "Light my Fire" while dancing like Michael Jackson, grabbing his crotch. He loves the way I do my zombie routine.  The Mutt loves Zombies/

Anne doesn't like me but always stops over on her way to Alaska.  She and Sarah are on the lookout for any funny business coming out of Russia!

BTW, this is all hush hush so keep a lid on it.

I JUST FIGURED IT OUT!!! He has been using the hair he cut to make VOODOO DOLLS in China! He has them sent to Mexico and his wives in the gated compound put the drugs inside the voodoo dolls to smuggle them into the United States. Once they are here, they remove the drugs and use the voodoo dolls to kill all those people in Massachusetts. I see it all now ....

First off, Glenna that baby granddaughter of yours is adoreable.  I am very jealous!

"Now, Romney is known to be a square who doesn't cat around, drink, or even cuss. So what, you might wonder, is he doing with voodoo dolls of all his rivals? Okay, Politics Daily doesn't really have the evidence of such sorcery, but really, what else explains it"

The truth always gets burried in the news.  But google will out everything!!!

No...I think you have it all wrong.  Romney actually is a  ( ssshhhh ) cartoonist and is just attempting to run for high office so he will have cartoon fodder.  Why Robme might even have paid Akin and Muordock to say what they did. More grist for the mill.

hrf.....loved your piece.  Truth in any venue is still truth.

Yesterday.....don't have to have ( I was cautiously concerned ) an operation on my ear.  As I don't get water in it and have infections, he says I don't HAVE to do anything, but of course, get the hearing aids.  V.A. from Marion will set me up with an appt. and we will get that done.  I'm thrilled.  I'm all for avoiding surgeries if you can.....even though I think this one would have been as those things go, minor.

Pip, there's the truth! It is a PUBLISHED SOURCE that Robme has voodoo dolls and has been practicing sorcery! WOW! I think he just might have made enough voodoo dolls to turn the country into zombies ... After all, the Mayan apocalypse is just around the corner. I think we have figured out our fate ... Robme will turn us into zombies with his Chinese voodoo dolls on 12/21/12. Prepare yourselves to be Robmefied.

    Jackie, you clearly don't know how this works.  We don't need to have proof that the accusation is true or not.  If you can't find proof that it isn't true, then you know it is true.  It is just pure logic.  See?  You wouldn't make a very good republican.{#emotions_dlg.frown}

When Did Hating Women Become a Republican Platform?

    by Helen Philpot

Margaret, I think my head is about to explode. Richard Mourdock, the Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in Indiana, said that "even when life begins with that horrible situation of rape, that is something that God intended to happen." Just when you think the bar for stupid has been set at a new low, some Neanderthal running for office lowers it again. As if God condones rape as an acceptable means of procreation. Mr. Mourdock’s mother must be so proud.

How many more examples do you think American women need before they realize that the current Republican Party would prefer that the Nineteenth Amendment had never been enacted? Let me count the ways…

Mr. Mourdock doesn’t believe a woman who is raped should be given the respect to make her own healthcare decisions in her process of healing, but he does think that there should be an exception if her life is in danger. Unfortunately, Mr. Mourdock hasn’t met Mr. Walsh.

Rep. Joe Walsh of Illinois thinks that there should never be an "exception" rule regarding abortions for women due to health concerns because he thinks women’s lives are never in danger due to a pregnancy. Walsh said that the life of a mother is never in danger because with "advances in medicine and technology, you can't find one instance" in which an abortion would be necessary to save a mother's life.

Of course, God’s will to bring life forth is at odds with the magical powers of my vagina according to Rep. Todd Akin, who claims that victims of "legitimate rape" rarely get pregnant. "From what I understand from doctors, that's really rare," Akin said of pregnancy caused by rape. "If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down.”

It hard to believe that Akin, Mourdock and Walsh don’t have this title, but to be considered one of the “most staunchly conservative Republicans” you actually have to take stupid to a disgustingly low level like Rep. Steve King did when he told an Iowa reporter he’s never heard of a child getting pregnant from statutory rape or incest. Here’s the quote: “Well I just haven’t heard of that being a circumstance that’s been brought to me in any personal way and I’d be open to discussion about that subject matter.”

Tom Smith, the Republican candidate for Senate in Pennsylvania believes there is never a reason to justify an abortion. When asked how he would argue to keep the baby if a daughter or granddaughter were to become pregnant as a result of rape, Smith said that his daughter went through “something similar” to rape: “Having a baby out of wedlock.”

And then there is Rep. Roger Rivard of Wisconsin who declared that sexual assault is a crime that is often misunderstood. He said that his father had warned him that "some girls rape easy." He explained that meant they'd verbally consent to sex, then later accuse the man of rape. Not that it matters, but I have no idea if he believes easy rape causes a pregnancy.  I bet, however, that he has equally appalling views about a woman’s right to decide what she will do after the easy rape.

It might be interesting for some of you to know that while the economy was burning, 200 Republicans in Congress, including Paul Ryan, spent considerable time on a bill that would have changed the exception language about rape to be redefined as an exception for only “forcible rape”.

I am sitting her stunned at what I have just typed. As a woman I can think of no other circumstance more hateful, more humiliating, more destructive to a woman than the act of rape… forcible rape, legitimate rape, statutory rape, easy rape or just regular old rape. How have these men risen to the level of public support to represent us in our nation’s capital?  And Paul Ryan is being considered for Vice President?  Good God in heaven please deliver me from this madness.

The other night, I was watching the news and that horrible Bay Buchanan came on. She was dismissive of a poll that suggested the issue of abortion was more importantthan the economy to  women. It was just impossible to Bay - a woman herself as far as I can tell - that women could possibly think that comments like those above could be more important than what those same politicians have to say about creating jobs and improving the economy. I’ve always thought Bay had a little bitch in her, something I admire in myself. But I never figured her for stupid. You don’t have to be a genius to realize that a woman’s ability to control her economic future is absolutely influenced by her ability to control her pregnancies.

Besides being stupid, Bay shares something else in common with those jackasses listed above. They are all members of the Republican Party with a platform that calls for making abortion illegal without exception.

But seriously.  If these men - I'll go ahead and include Bay in that statement just for the sake of arugment - if these men are stupid enough to have an opinion during the election about what should or shouldn't happen with a woman's body after a rape, then they are too stupid to hold an elected office.   And if these men have to explain their statements the next day by saying "what I really meant to say was that rape is never a good thing"... well honestly... do I really need to tell you not to vote for that moron?  And if you are a women voting Republican in this election, bless your heart, you clearly have bigger problems than the economy and you really might want to consider investing in some self respect.

Before I sign off, let me add one more quote to the ever-growing list of Republican Rape Philosophers:

Mitt Romney says this of Richard Mourdock, "We disagree on policy regarding exception for rape and incest but I still support him.” Romney went even further and added, “With so much at stake, I hope you will join me in supporting Richard Mourdock for US Senate.”

Women, I hope you will join me in supporting women everywhere.  Vote for the guy who was smart enough to say simply, "Rape is rape.  It's a crime."  I mean it. Really.

Sorry to have dashed your dreams Jackie.  You will have to remain open minded and think for yourself now.

What I really don't understand is that republicans don't want people telling them what to do.  But when it comes to women, they let men take the lead.  I can honestly say that I don't know what I would have done if I was to become pregnant by rape.  But I would like to have the ability to make my own choice.  I respect that they have their belief system that guides them to make certain judgements. I just don't like that they want to impose their judements on everyone.

    You guys crack me up.

I haven't posted much lately. I've had the crud for two weeks. Now everything is gone but the asthma. I saw the PA at the pulmonologist's office yesterday and am glad the doctor will be back from vacation and I can see her in a week and a half. He had some suggestions for meds I used to use but that my insurance doesn't like. I am back on one now and will talk to the doctor about the other.

Talk about rationing health care. I am going to have to take meds I pay 85% for out of pocket because of my stupid insurance. Why do people trust insurance companies so much? At least with government agencies, they have to follow the law. Insurance companies follow the bottom line.

Colin Powell endorsed Obama today. Wonder how the teabags are going to spin this. Maybe: 'angry black men stick together.'

Of course if he had endorsed Romney, it would be something like: 'war hero throws support to Governor Romney.'

Saw that Yorkie and tempted to c & p it here but didn't --- but I' have always like Colin Powell, was almost sorry he didn't run for President --- but then probably knew what he would have to go through.

rosemary....glad you are feeling better and have something to help tide you over till you see your  pulmonologist --agree with your stmt. on bottom line so much.

Pip....sigh damn, I got to be a Democrat and have to face reality...how in the world do you do that?

What I sort of want to know is how all these female Regressives know so much, but can only tell each other because the men think they are stupid and should stay home and barefoot and pregnant.  Reminds me of when I used to hear my smart Regressive family.  Used to tell them....if you are so da** smart get your bu** to Washington and help all those dummies there out.  Your not helping me, might as well strqaighten all of them out.

“When I was back in my private equity days, we went to China to buy a factory there. It employed about 20,000 people. And they were almost all young women between the ages of about 18 and 22 or 23. They were saving for potentially becoming married. And they work in these huge factories, they made various uh, small appliances. And uh, as we were walking through this facility, seeing them work, the number of hours they worked per day, the pittance they earned, living in dormitories with uh, with little bathrooms at the end of maybe 10, 10 room, rooms. And the rooms they have 12 girls per room. Three bunk beds on top of each other. You've seen, you've seen them? (Oh…yeah, yeah!) And, and, and around this factory was a fence, a huge fence with barbed wire and guard towers. And, and, we said gosh! I can't believe that you, you know, keep these girls in! They said, no, no, no. This is to keep other people from coming in. Because people want so badly to come work in this factory that we have to keep them out.”

And poor Mitt so easily believed it...I guess in his mind, a gated Mitt community with multiple wives making Welsh cakes 24/7 and taking care of tons of boys seemed eerily similar.

Pitiful.  Back in 1993 (which I believe was during Mitt's "private equity days"), there was a horrific fire at a doll factory in Shenzhen, China.  81 workers died because they were locked into the factory and couldn't escape.

Do we really want someone that credulous ("Oh! Gosh! They're not locked in at all, it's to keep other people out because conditions are so gosh darn great!") negotiating with the Chinese on our behalf???

I think you really shouldn't want Mitt negotiating with ANY country on your behalf!  He might sign a treaty on one day and then deny signing it on another!

I was amazed that Mitt brought up the totally false Obama "apology tour" in the last debate, and that the GOP are still touting that line.  Bushie left the U.S. reputation in ruins, and it was up to Obama to restore that soiled rep.  Bringing up a so-called "apology tour", which it wasn't, only serves to remind smart-thinking Americans about the Bush years.

I don't believe for a minute that he 'believed' it.  More likely his greedy mind was thinking he wished he and his cronies could get away with that in this country.

I try hard to avoid Made in China stuff because of stories like that.  Saving for marriage my arse.  Those poor girls were held in slavery like conditions for the profit of somebody else.

The Regressives will have to come up with more than an apology tour if Robme wins. The other nations despise him. The rest of us will be doing the apologizing for allowing such a lying bully to become President of our nation. Like we did for 8 years with W.

I don't want to make apologies again!

If the Regressives regain the White House, we will be doing a lot more than apologizing. Their antagonism for "useless regulation," including worker safety protections that they try hard to overturn, circumvent or ignore, could lead to disasters like the Chinese plant fire or the 1991 Hamlet Chicken processing plant fire in North Carolina, in which 25 workers died and 54 were injured because fire doors were locked -- supposedly to prevent theft. The workers died screaming, trying to get out. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamlet_chicken_processing_plant_fire

This is what eliminating those "burdensome" regulations gets you.

I have been doing more research trying to "refudiate" some of the things we have learned.  So far I cannot NOT prove that Rmoney is a drug kingpin who uses his many wives in Mexico to use his fake hair and voodoo dolls to transport drugs.  I also cannot find any evidence that he is not a mass murderer who killed thousands of Democrats when he was governor.  Also unable to disprove is that Ann and Caribou Barbie have been seen in Alaska making sure Russia is still where it should be.

I am shocked, just shocked to hear Blue's news!  I am contacting the only fair and balanced news source out there: The Onion.

Also, kayfh your comment that Rmoney's other wives live in a gated compound in Mexico is simply shocking. Maybe the reason he hates women (and I cannot "refudiate" that he doesn't) is that he feels insignifcant, diminished, ridiculous since he has had to depend on his many wives (where are the binders!!) for his fortune.  "How else could a man of limited ability have done so well financially. It has to have been his wives" is a great question Kay.

ETA: Colbert has a counter offer for Trump  Colbert will give Trump 1 million dollars if Colbert could...uhm...how shall I say....put certain teabags in his mouth.  Apparently both Rmoney and Trump are fighting to see who will do this.  They both love teabaggers so much.
