HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!!!!!!!
In June of 2010, I joined you sisters in this fight. Back then I thought I would not make it to my 50th birthday, concidering my data. I am so blessed to still be here. Just wanted to share this with you guys. Tonight I am going to dinner with my husband and our two sons. Never ever give up the fight no matter how hard it is.

Happy Birthday! We were diagnosed the same month of 2010. My feelings about birthdays have changed so much. So much to be thankful for with each one. I will never regret hitting a "big (blank) - Oh" benchmark again. Hoping to hit 50 someday myself.

Sharon - many happy returns! When I look at pictures from my 50th birthday (6 years ago), I'm struck with the realization that unbeknownst to me, I had Stage IIC breast cancer lurking inside (the shingles I'd just endured at Christmas should have been a clue...). Two months later, reality hit with my diagnosis. I didn't think I would make it to my 25-year wedding anniversary or get to renew my driver's license. Well both those things have happened, so now I have to think of some other landmarks to achieve. How about retiring at 59 - would that be a good one?
I SO agree with Outfield - every birthday is a victory. ENJOY YOURS!
