LOL at the funny pics, girlz!
Bernie, Glad you made such a good meatloaf! Tuna in expensive there? Its so f'n cheap here...my DH likes the albacore (I just like the dark), and it is usually on sale, so he buys so much we end up throwing some out when it gets out of date. (THats cuz he puts the new stuff in FRONT of the old stuff...my late DH was a grocery mgr and I really learned the "FIFO"...first in, first out method).
OH and I am with you Lori on the velveeta, don't like it, don't like ANY mac 'n cheese or much pasta for that matter. I like my pasta thin, angel hair, and I prefer my cheese on its own...don't even like it on burgers anymore. But I DO love thin angel hair, with a simple topping of sauteed tomatoes, garlic, basil, olive oil.
Yikes, I did NOT know what MRSA was. Oh Sue, please let us know how Jengirl is, ok? She has just had TOO MUCH happening to her, and needs some good healthy times. Just breaks my heart.
Oh, that Baby Guinness with Tia Maria and Baileys sounds really yummy!
And yummy DOTD's ....love the names of them, Lori.Cami, that IS interesting about older people holding hands. My dad and mom always do that, and we thought it was so romantic, but yeah, it prolly also is so they are more steady. Funny!
OK, feeling better, but now have a busy afternoon, and taking my mom to get some new meds. Maybe it was the flu shot that made me so sick, hope so, cause I don't have time to be down with a cold.
Hugssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!
Kathy
-
Kathy it probably is from the shot--most people get a reaction from it for a couple days like fluey feeling--I think this is a live virus, so it's tuninh up u'r immune system. Feel better.

I like mac n cheese, especially if I make my own. I just don't like "processed" stuff........ICK!
Cami, I have no idea about the peanut allergies, but if you ask me the same question could be asked about so many cancers, right? I think it's chemicals given the animals and put on the crops, all kinds of new vacines, all of this new technology, microwaves etc. And I don't think it has ANYTHING to do with people drinking and smoking, altho that is what they want to blame it on. And all the vacines, they say is what is causing so many kids to be autistic and have aspergers.
Who won the fight Lara, you or your boss?
Grabbin me some Dizzy Dames and heading to the casino!
-
Oh Alli I'm so sorry to hear your sad news...........condolences to you and all his family.
You goils sure have been biddy! I been biddy cleaning an cookin an twying to get meeselfs organhized for my DD engagement partay on Sunday as well as get weady for my fwend fwom New Zealand who awwives on Monday ..........did I say biddy? Well hell I'm flat out like a lizard dwinking!!!
Got to go!!!! Lubs y'all!!!! -
Hi Chrissy! When is your DD getting married? That is SO furciting...hope you get everything done before her engagement party on Sunday! AND your friend will be arriving too....awesome! You are SO bizzy, but its happy stuff, and that makes it all worthwhile. Sure miss ya when you can't be in the lounge very much. Some Kangaroo Hugs for you....
Hugssssssssssssssssssss!
-
Thanks Kathy. Just made myself a cup of tea and I thought I'd checkout the HTL while I drink it.......would much prefer booze but can't be boozing while I'm cooking or we could end up with chocolate stroganoff and pickled mud cake!!!
DD has set the date for 28th September next year so less than a year to get it all organized!! Thank goodness she has decided that she wants a country wedding and not a city one........much easier on the purse and less hassle to organise.
Mmmm cup of tea went down well and now it's back to work. Thanks for the Roo hugs.......so cute!! -
Morning all.
with Goldie on her comments.
-
Mornin' Bernie and anyone else up here.
Chrissy I love all that good news. It's so happy and so much fun to look forward to.
And Goldie, u'r right I think, I wasn't looking at it that way--I just know my grandson can't bring peanutbutter sandwich to school. Kind of scary. No one can.Well I do know that growing up years ago everyone smoked and drank (wine) all the time and no one was allergic to anything and they all lived to be pretty old, late 80's mid 90's. And hardly anyone was in the hospital ever so I the whole thing is a mystery
I hope everyone is feeling good I fell asleep early so now I'm screwed. My cousin was here most of the day---he is so funny. We were laughing most of the day, that akways feels good and my dgtr gave him a hair cut. Rainy all day so I started my movies but never watched any--well it supposed to rain today too so I have time. LOL

Chrissy, congrats to your daughter! I think a country wedding would be a WHOLE LOT NICER than a city one.
Holy the Cow Cami, what time are you up? Looks like about 3am? Oh I hate when that happens.
Sorry about your work issues Lara, and you can rant here anytime.
Kathy, doesn’t look like much of anything went on last night! And you are up a bit early too.

Oh no partying for me last nite Kath and when I checked during the night it was quiet so I think everyone was tired or partying elsewhere--dum. dum (singing that too.)
Lara that just plain sucks about u'r boss. I can not stand when anyone thinks well u had chemo etc--u'r done, u'r fine--- if only. To most of us this is an emotionally disturbing disease that is always hanging over our heads and pysically leaves us drained and with SE of some sort. And once u go back to work (depending on u'r boss) u've declared u'r self fine. And u really have to to work but it's a struggle somedays and depending on wht u do it could be really difficult. (((hugs)))
-
Goldie that sounds yummy---Oh and if u see that movie--tell us all about it cuz that looks good, I liked the first one, but then again those are my kind of movies plus scsry ones. I'm weird. hahaha
-
-
