I would be for sending cards to the priest you tracked down.
-
Sas, knowing Frank from his posts, i think he would be honored and flattered that you went to such effort to find out if he is ok. I'm for going thru the priest also. Blessings to all here. Mary
-
Well folks, I contacted the mods early on, they felt it was to early to contact Frank by email b/c his last login was Sept7 th. Well, I'm thinking no at this point. Hate to breach anyone's privcy. But it's not like we are asking for info back. We just want the priest to contact either Frank or the family. I'll do it and reveal more to the priest , so he can try to make a mental connection. Need imputs---------
-
If they are saing it not allowed then u can't-----but I don't think it's to early that over 3 weeks that he signed in and he wasn't doing good then. Just my thoughts.
-
Camile---No they didn't say I couldn't contact. It's the ethics of the site that are holding me back. Frank never gave us lots of info. I was able to deciphfer 3 clues from reading his posts from the beginning. So, do I go forward, or not. I'm conflicted
-
Could you contact his priest and ask him if he would deliver our well wishes to Frank? If he agrees, everyone could message you for the address instead of posting it for everyone to see. It will take awhile for the mail to get across the pond and into his hands.
-
I guess the best course is the priest Sas--it won't e in intrusion on Frank and if the priest knows something he can tell u.
-
Praying for all & for you SAS as you make a decision.
My father had heart surgery on Friday & it went well will know for sure in about a month. I am so grateful to all who prayed for him ...Thank you & Thank God!
-
Mnmom I pray he does well.
-
Good news, mnmom!
I have scans this Friday, the 5th. I thank God for His Gifts of Healing and am praying for continued good news. God Bless my family for putting up with my crankiness as the day gets closer.
Oh, and my husband and I celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary this Tuesday, the 2nd. Another blessing!
Penny

congrats on your anniversary Redwolf8812
-
Popping in to say "hello"...
Congrats on your 19th anniversary Redwolf
mine will be 24th wedding anniversary on the 11th.
Did my scans on 9/21 but not heard anything from the onc yet, I had to postpone my onc appointment due to a botched insertion of the cathether on my arm for the MRI contrast. The vein is no good for drawing blood until next week. Still stressed about the up coming results.
Sas, I so agree with others, it's a great idea to reach out to the priest and deliver our well wishes to Frank. He's been quiet for way too long.
It's been awhile since I last posted but you are all in my prayers.
Namaste!
-
Congtrats to both of u--marriage is so difficult and u'r doing it well.
And good luck on u'r scans.
-
Congrats diamond and red! I just celebrated my 25th and we are renewing our vows at church in two weeks. Prayers for all of you, especially redwolf for her scans. Please pray for the soul of my aunt Joan who just passed of ALS at the age of 74. So hard on my mom to lose her sis while undergoing mbc chemo. Love and blessings to all. Mary
-
Thanks Camilegal and MK
Sorry to hear about your aunt Joan.
Prayers for all
-
Sas, good luck getting info on Frank.
Frank, if you happen to be reading, we all want to hear from you. Wishing you well and Blessings!
-
anybody ...in this sections?
I know St Jude Taddeus. He is wonderful....I pray and pray.
Our Holy Mother, Jesus, St. Jude...
We all must live our suffering and make possible for them to intervene. I read a lot about prayers for healing...done by special persons.....of course not those preachers so popular in USA...but special people who pray for you and NO money is involved. Just spirit. God ..Jesus himself.
It's in the bible...Jesus allows others (and not only the apostoles) to act on His behalve. What do you think about it?
-
Happy anniversary Penny and Diamondgirl!
Here's to clear scans for all. I had mine last week and go back to see the onc on the 15th. Praying that your scans and mine will be all clear.
Mary so sorry to hear about your aunt.
I agree with the others about contacting the priest re Frank. I pray for him daily and for all you wonderful ladies.
Blessings
Michelle -
Paola Hi---This is a wonderful close to u'r heart thread to read. And I too pray to St. Jude, but I guess we just have different interpretations of our expectations.
I pray for intervention more than direct for any Saint or Mary to help me, nit for them to answer my prayers )the way I would like) but prayers (to me) are answered in different ways.
And to act in Jesus's behalf never meant (to me) tat people could cure or raise the dead--what it did mean was to preach and care for all people with kindness and understanding of our human faults and forgive us thru his name.
I'm not say anything against what u are saying, I'm sayin how I believe in acting thru Jesus.
But I'm certainly no expert in the bible or the teaching just yrs. and yrs. of Catholic schools. And questions I would ask.

Prayers & blessings going out to all this weekend

May God hold all here in the palm of His hand. Thanks sas for following up on Frank. Prayers for Frank! I visited Ireland this past summer for the first time to see relatives. I remember frank and I having a discussion about the town my grandpa was from. He's a treasure!

Yes, I'm really worried about Frank. Thanks Sas.
-
Hi Ladies,
Sas - thank you for writing the padre. I've been popping in to check on the news.
All - you all been on my prayers weekly
I'm supposed to see my onc for check up this Friday 10/12, but I had been working and not been able to get my blood work, and I had to nurse my vein back since my "botched" MRI with contrast.
So I'm going to reschedule in a couple of weeks. Still stressing myself out.
Best,
-
Done Loveys---email sent to Priest wish I would have C&P'd it here. If the padre doesn't seek out and answer for us he has no heart b/c I bled it. I used every cancer trip phrase I could to activate him in getting us a response. So, we shall see. Keep praying for him and Terasain Tuscon(Teresa). They both went MIA about the same time.
DiamondGirl love to see you posting regularly again ---My Rosary broke---had it in my purse, to much rough handling----fixable, but bummed.
Dunes--your posting more--things must be better?
Mary I have been absent----your Mom?
mnmom- a stalwart---here praying for everyone---prayers that all is well with you
camille--St Jude after we do the next novena to Mary, we should do st. jude will keep thatin mind. Course my mind could forget remind me.
L&H&P's to all sheila

It was the sweetest thing I heard yesterday. Our 2 little ones go to a small Catholic school. One of the teachers told me yesterday that every morning at prayer the school children say a prayer for me and that she can't imagine that He wouldn't be able to hear the prayers from those sweet little ones. Just made me cry and feel so thankful that our small church school thinks of me on a daily basis.
May all of you be blessed! -
Teeballmom ---I can just picture them L&H&P's Namaste sheila
