Had this long Sherlock Holmes missive re: Frank--- went to computer netherland-------will continue working on it. Sheesh I really dislike some of these buttons. Thank goodness re: notes. Still no no difinitive answer.

One of the things I learned along the way and have been recently concerned about is teresainTucson has not posted---her last post was on Fuzzy's roomroom, july 12th. Her last login was August 20th with no post. Please keep her in your prayers.

Thank you Sheila for sharing that lovely poem. Your comments following it about was meant for me to read, knowing that things are okay. The anesthesia brain has been something I've had to work with from the two surgeries since February. Thankfully, one of the RNs at work did let my supervisor know that it's real and doesn't disappear overnight.

Sally , anesthesia brain started to be documented with coronary -by-pass graft in the early 70's ----I was a youngin then. it at first was thought to be something caused by the by pass machine. Further study because of awareness showed that anesthesia can affect the brain for months. repeated anestheshias----wappo-----put chemo on top of it and your brain is scrambled------and you didn't have any fun doining it----bad attempt at a joke.

So sorry to hear about your grandmother, Cheri. What a great story though...over 75 years of marriage...that's something to celebrate.
Blessings to you all!

Thanks Sheila. I was blessed that Chemo wouldn't have given me enough benefit to outweigh the negative so it wasn't needed. Can't imagine though that the most recent surgery of almost 17 hours didn't have an increased effect.

Thank you for the greetings and prayers for my birthday.
Please pray for my mom, too. She has been sickly lately and refusing medical attention, she just wants to dwell on me. Please pray she gets better. Im lucky to have somebody care for me like she does but i want her to get better for herself and not just for me. Please pray for her well being. -
I have been off with family for the last couple weeks many illnesses. Praying with my 1st Rosary.

Ladies, could you believe in a little girl age seven, who for several years now says that "the Lady" tells her stuff? The Lady tells her who to pray for, where to touch people to pray for them (not knowing if that they are ill), etc. I met her this weekend. I went to a rosary service. About 30 people were there, we recited the rosary while she walked about praying for us, she laid her tiny little lavender smelling hand on my forehead and the other just below my neck. When I pray I tend close my eyes, so I never saw her coming, it was such a sweet moment. After the rosary she handed out candles to a few of us, I got a pink one, can you believe that....and it said Divine Providence on it, which is the congregation of my daughter's high school.....anyway, after ward, her mother told us a story:
One of the mother's friend's called her about four weeks ago and asked if the little girl would please go up to the hospital to pray for her sister in ICU. The doctors told the her to go home and die with family and friends around that she had about four days left. The little girl goes and prays in the ICU with the lady. 5 days later the family asks her to come back and pray again. When they walk in the sick lady is off the feed tube and eating. 5 days later they go back to pray again and the sick lady is in a regular room and walking around. Then as she is telling us the story, she says, and here she is! Up stands a lady about 55 or 60, with beautiful gray hair, smiling and waving at us. I looked at her closer and saw the familiar pale chemo look in the face and she was very gaunt in the checks, but she smiled and her eyes did too. She look fantastic for a women that according to doctors should have been in the grave four weeks before.
I left the rosary with a overwhelming feeling of comfort, like after getting a huge hug from dad when you are just a little girl. And somehow I knew the "Lady" was present as well.
As I don't know much about novenas, is there one to the Blessed Mother?

Wow sagina! I'm in awe of your story. I believe that some people are sent here on earth to heal and inspire in the name of Our Lord. Even a soul encased in the body of a little girl. If you ever see her again please let her know of the intentions here on bco. Thank you for the hope you gave me today. Mary

That's amazing Gina!

Cheri I'm so sorry about'u r grandmother and sad for u'r grandfather But it is a beautiful love story and especially wanting to be together always. And it makes no difference the age they will always be in u'r heart.

Hello sisters, checking in to let you know that I pray for you every day. I ended up with some lymphedema after my trip out to Seattle and am in PT for it. Almost all gone now. It seems I will need to wear some kind of chest compression garment in addition to my sleeve and gauntlet if I fly again. Ahh cancer, the gift that keeps giving.
We went on a Franciscan retreat and it was wonderful!! I offered you up in prayer. CCD started this week too, so busy is the name of the game.
God bless you all!
-
Hi everyone. Thinking and praying for all of you and your intentions this morning.
Wonderful news, away from cancer - I've been asked to team on an ACTS retreat again as a music minister! And my DD, a senior in college, walked into the "family" church in the town (as opposed to the one that all the college kids go to) and signed up to teach CCD!
Blessed be your day.
No word from Frank either?
-
Sagina----WOW----so cool with the words you wrote about finding even more joy and a stronger voice-yay
And DD doing CCd-------heaven sweetie. heaven.
I volunteered to help clean the church what a hoot, apparently people don't move furniture.------i'm moving stuff---reached down to move something that looked like a piece of something----"What was I thinking"," I live in Florida" big old dead roach. In the middle of the sanctuary I yell "OH Shit". You'd have to see one of those buggers.. In florida---you see a bug ---you don't rest till it's dead. -----God's two jokes on us here----eye floaters---you see the movement, so you have to figure out was it an eye floater or a bug, second seed pods that attach to animal fur then they scratch it off. So, what IS THAT SPECK on whatever. Considering the population with poor eyesight--ergo Gods little joke on us.

Nancy I checked with Mods re: TT email they thought it premature to check in with her I reviewed what i knew and said don't think so , but we will wait a bit.
Re: frank I read all of franks missives since the beginning. Last post date was august6th. Last login date Septh 7th. Wish I'd copied note to Mods. They didn't get seriousness of no post. Those that know his history do. I did find three leads. A simple refrerrence to a Father. I've written him already. BUT did it with only identifying myself and one simple statement from Frank He had two blessings in one day. Locating the Father was a bit of detective work , which I love. BUT I believe intensely in our privacy and I could tell from reading Frank's missive he did too. I had three clues to work with. found him. but i will be silent. It's not my right to reveal those clues.
Each of us choose a certain amount of anonimity. We each want to know about frank. I asked the Mods about him and TersainTucson. (last post FRR july 16th/ last loginAug 20th). They responded that I was premature. I responded with much more detail about both.
Bottom line they both need prayers-------
There is a method of allowing people to know. We should make sure we know-----if some one is just ill, or gone. The not knowing sucks. It leaves the survivors with a question.. If someone decideds to move on thats great, but don't walk away without a goodbye. Dealing with all we have----and investing our thoughts and care into others here MATTERS.

Prayers for all tonight.
-
Amen.
-
Echoing the Amen for everyone....and thanks to all for the condolences on my grandmother. There were so many people at the funeral, my grandpa was blown away. It made him SO happy - he said she would never have expected that many people. All ages - from 7 to 98. Was a good day :-)
Getting caught as I was gone for a few days, but I'm also anxious to hear from Frank. I pray for him constandly.

Prayers for all tonight
-
Hi everyone! Can I please print our intentions and put them in our prayer box at my retreat meeting? We are 40 women strong, all praying all at the same time, that's a loud voice!
Miss you all, praying for you all, and special intentions for Teresa and Frank.
-
Frank, thinking of you today as the All Ireland football game just ended. Hope you enjoyed the game! I remember when you posted awhile back that someone would receive extra prayers if she knew about the game of hurling. I didn't post then but my son played on a team that won the first all American hurling championship. It was a really big to do, the Irish coaches-dads were in tears. So, today I am sending those prayers to you!
P.S. We were cheering forDonegal! We actually hosted 4 Donegal lads over the summer. -
helo sisters-----i have been off awhile --- i think I told you without going back that I tracked Frank-----I can take it to the next step. I have enough info to do it. I'm a sherloclk holmes person. The thing that I have to deal with ---his choice of annonimity------as we all do----I have done enough that I know I can trace him----Actually I have him one step removed. Should I go forward , ethichically. I tried his priest without using his name only a description in one of Franks posts. He referrred to a priest. I tracked it and sent an email--no response......So, Ineed to know . I need to know about Frank. I also need to know what you all think-
We keep our privacy---is it absolute. So many lost this year, I need to know about Frank. Perhaps selfishness, I just need to know. --I haven't breeched his privacy, but I can b/c of research. --------????????????
-
Just a suggestion- would you feel comfortable posting the priest's address and we could send cards? It would be wonderful to send our spiritual bouquets across the pond to Frank!
-
Sas this isn't idle curiosity, i's caring about another do whatever u can to find out what it's all about--we all wish the best, but it doesn't sound like it will be. U'r amazing and do what u need and can do--everyone is concerned.
