Personally, I do not want to open up an account on another website to post a picture here. I don't need another website tracking what I do, having to make sure that account is set to private. SoCal Lisa recently stated that she just has to copy and paste onto bc.org on her tablet.

If there bc.org makes one create an account some place else for security reasons, why is it that someone can copy and paste from a tablet? Where is the security feature there? There isn't one.

I guess I won't be posting any pictures of the humming birds and orioles I see around on this website in the birdwatchers sections. Sad.

    Cinnamon,

The picture forum (for recon pix) is not part of bco. It is owned and maintained privately. As for actually posting pix on bco, yes, it is complicated for many of us. My younger dd had to fiddle with it for quite some time to get her wedding pix posted from a photo sharing site.

I realize that photbucket is not part of bc.org. I have no idea what recon pix means and I don't have a younger anything to help fiddle with my comptuer.

My point is why are some allowed to copy and paste on here, but others can't? If bc.org doesn't allow to copy and paste right on the sight as a security feature as they stated in this thread, then no one should be able to copy and paste.

Hi Cinammon, I think LisaSoCal said she can't just copy and paste (not can). We are currently working on this feature though!

ali68, unfortunately the formatting functions for posts (including the pic icon) are not compatible with iPads and iPhones. It's something on our list of tech fixes, but we don't know when that will happen.
