Sooooooo....I rolled out of bed this afternoon pretty cranky....went in my pond to get the fishes out and that was actually pretty entertaining! I think I feel better! LOL So, going to shower and plan on staying up til the wee hours. Both baby girls will be home this weekend!
I'm with you Mama...sometimes, we just have to get the pity party out. And that's ok.
Veggy...I'm With GG! Love the pic!!! And love every and all GG stories!
I watched a documentary on the psychological effects on war journalists last night. Holy crap. Brutal stuff....maybe I should not do that for a while, eh?
I'll be back later....going to try and accomplish something today...
XOXOXO -
Been up too late last two nights so went to bed early. Woke up with leg cramps, both legs, started at knees and worked up to waist. Could NOT! find my Rescue REmedy which often helps (but I never realy get cramps until the last few days). So put liquid potassium in water and drak, hoping it works for the night.
On Pandora, playing Golden Autumn Day by Van Morrison - like the first verse about getting back out in the human race.

and a different version of Wonderful World
War movies and violence, I cannot watch anything, too distressing for me, not good for the level of peace I attempt to attain hahaha.
Am adding movies to my list.
Such a quiet few days in Romp Room.

I'm sooooo laughing at this right now....I have a list of people I would LOVE to say this to!!
HAHAHAHAAAAAHAHAHAHAAA!!!

This pooch could teach me a thing or two.
It's super cold and windy here today. DH went to work today. I feel a little bad at getting mad at him...but he definitely needs to see that he is very fortunate to do what he does and not get into the jealousy stuff. So, today I'm going to clean up around here and get ready for the girls to come home on Friday.
Should I be concerned that my PS hasn't called me back to discuss reconstruction for October? I called two weeks in a row...very unusual for him not to call me back...

Can we handle some good news for a change? I have some to share.
I met my new oncologist today. I love her! She says that she will not give me the "Red Devil" l won't need a port for the chemo I am getting. With all this excitement I forgot which chemo she is giving me. It will be every three weeks I get chemo and there is 6 doses. The chemo she is giving me will be easier than the chemo that NJ would have given me. I will lose my hair but I don't care. She is going to call my doctors in NJ and work along with them. And she said that she is getting some of my old oncologists patients. By the way, I need to fire the b***h. I would love to do it in person but I'd have to pay for the appointment and I'd probably hurt her. And then I want to write to the hospital letting them know that she is a nut job.
I celebrated with homemade blueberry pancakes for lunch.Right now at this moment... I feel good!
-
Veggy!!! That is great news!!! I am so happy for you!!! Yes...good news is always welcome! YOU GET TO FIRE THE OLD ONE! WHOOT WHOOT!!

Grannydukes- What? Around my neck?????
-
Veggy so glad you have a dr you like! I think it would all be so much harder if i didnt like and trust all my drs. Sometimes i think maybe trust too much but anyway....thats what scares me most about moving and changing all my drs, hopefully they are just as good at the new centre.
Big hugs for you and YAY!!! -
Veggy...I think we really are connected. I was so happy for you today! And, I think you helped me have a pretty good day...for real! I went to the grocery store (haven't done that in a really long time) and decided to buy one of my favorite things to eat - yogurt, berries, honey, nuts, granola...now, might not sound like much, but somehow I just felt like going to the grocery store. You're right - there is good news and I just needed to hear that. So, thank you. Ok....past actually going to the grocery store and buying the stuff I wanted...I came home and ate it! That's like a miracle...and I had it for lunch and dinner.
So...here I am. Fresh out of the bath. Feeling pretty good. Veggy had a good day. Inspired me. I got to watch a thunderstorm. And, I feel like I ate pretty good today. I seriously think it made a ton of difference. So, next time I get super pissy...Veggy needs to fire someone and I need to eat better.
Rider...I sure hope you fall in love with your new team. It is so important. I'd like to be in your pocket when you go to meet them. I'll make sure they treat you right!! Or, I'll punch em in the nose and we'll go have some yogurt
-
Congrats veggy! I'm glad you finally got some "good" news.
Granny K, does coconut water taste like coconut? I have some that I'm afraid to drink. I don't like coconut.
Fuzzy, I like that "bag over that personality" pin. Unfortunately, since this bc crap, it is often MY personality that needs that bag. Oh well. It is payback for all the crap I took before this. ;>)
My midterm is tomorrow. I hope I can go to sleep soon. I'm going to give those kids a run for their money.
-
Simply...LOVE the one where she says she get to TELL THEM their fired!!! LOL
-
Dunes ... YOU CAN DO IT!!! I hope you sleep like a queen tonight and wake up ready to kick ass on the test!! Want us in your pocket for that?? I'll be honest, I cheat on any test that I can get away with it....always have...LOL

Oh man...I'm watching Mississippi Burning...such an aweful story and it just turns my stomach. I have to shut this off. Please tell me Toddlers and Tiaras or Gater Boys are on....AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
-

Chins up ladies it is halfway to the wonderful weekend. But thewweek has been awesome wonderful too. Music helped.
My endo has prescribed for me some D3, bioidentical progesterone, T3 & T4 for super f'd up thyroid and the lovely extra special melatonin pills for bedtime. I am taking one now, but was supposed to be in bed 3 THREE !!! hours ago to be up in time for dawn. Now will the melatonin make me sleep through that and fire and derecho straight line wind storms? and dogs that have to go oompa? Hate if I woke up to surprises. Anyone know? I do know these are a good thing though.
