Hi Chicas!
Oh Shannon nice to see you back here, and MUAH for dat gud looking guy....and he already has me on his arm....awwwwwwww.
Yuppers Cami, I went skydiving today! WooHoo!!!!!!
It was AWESOME, girls. Had a good looking guy for my tandem instructor....he was young too, but well small detail....he had a HUGE gap betwn his front teeth! LOL. He was soooo sweet and kept telling me I was doing good, etc. Had to wait THREE hours till my turn to go up. ANd on our flight, there was just my tandem jump, and then a group of 5 skydivers who jumped at almost the same time, then hooked up together. So we went up to about 1400 ft....and it was about 10 degrees when we jumped and sooo windy! I didn't care for the free fall as much, as the wind was so strong. But when he pulled the parachute cord, then it was sooooo peaceful, quiet, and just hanging there, looking down, weighless. Was not scary, and I was so happy doing it! Really was doing it for my late DH, as he was a special forces JUMPMASTER and he loved skydiving. WHen I had to really push back right into my instructors lap as we straddled the bench on the plane, and he tightened everything on me up, even more. I had to joke with him "so thats why you need a cigarette afterwards". It was VERY personal....lol.
OK are we still partaying???? Loved all your funnees! And Dorkie is partying with some gal friends, and Lori is partaying with her family, and I gotta still "milk" this birthday for all its worth.....sooooooo let the partay continue!!!!!
Song STILL running thru mese head...."I went sky-diving...."
Cloud Nine Hugsssssss,
Kath

Kathy u'r awesome wow I'm spechless with u---I've just known my niece and my nephew who ever did that and they were in there 20's. I don't even like getting on a plane let alone jump from it YYYAAAAYYYY
-
Cami, One of the instructors said he started skydiving as he was afraid of heights....so when the plane got to a certain height, he wanted to get DOWN, so wasn't afraid to jump....better for him than staying in the plane! Funny. There were several people doing tandem today, and some that had never even been in a plane before! My DD2 (33yrs) wants to do it too, and maybe she and I can do it at the same time, someday. She flew (for 15 min or so) a small plane when she was a teen, and my friend and I rode along.....that was awesome too, but scary when the instructor had her fly between 2 large towers on top of the mountain. Seemed like they were soooo close to ea other...but they really weren't.
You girls are silly....I really don't feel brave. One thing I don't want to go up in is a helicopter, but Lori has done that, and I am sure some others here may have done that too. THose scare me, too many accidents. Bungee jumping is a worry for me too, and Sue has done that!
CyndieLouWhoIsMoving, Hope they get your internet bixed up fer gud, and it don't konk out on you! It is soooo hard moving, isn't it? Good luck with all of that!
Lori, Glad you got to MI safely! AND that they had the mojitos ready for you...awesome!
Lots of prayers going out tonight, hope all our breasties are okay!
Hugsssssss and Beer Mugssssssss,
Katharoni
