Barbara, your loving friendship in action allows so many to share their own love and appreciation of Marybe. Thank you. Please try to take extra good care of yourself too, while you're living the most extraordinary example of true love in friendship. sunflowers

The mail just came and with it two lovely cards, one from SoCalLisa and ValJean. I read them to her and she responded. The nurse said she could have her little dog Harley, visit for a while. I asked her if she would like that and she nodded her head pretty firmly so Tim is bringing him after he has breakfast with her father.
-
Wonderful news about a "Harley" visit, what a nice, caring thing to do.
-
Marybe, I don't "know" you, but I am thinking of you.
Yvonne
-
Sending love and all best thoughts to Marybe and her family.
And BarbA, I second what Sun said.
-
Dearest Marybee, May God bless and keep you close to His Heart of Love. Prayers for you and your loved ones to find peace.
-
Marybe,
Always so happy to see her critters. I just fed Gordy, (my P-I-G) and gave him some chocolate and told him that was from a very dear friend that is going through a rough patch right now. He is so happy, just grunting, etc....
I'm praying for you Marybe, we still need you here! I'm also praying for your family especially Tim.
Barbara, thank you so much for keeping us updated on Marybe. We all go through life so fast and sometimes forget that we need to slow down and cherish everyday. That's the most important thing that I learned from Marybe and I'm gonna try to remember it when I feel like everything is crazy, especially around the holidays. It's all about family and Marybe be feels like family to me.
God bless y'all,
LaDonna

Dearest Marybe,
I'm so happy to see that you are being surrounded by so many people who love you so much. I hope and pray for your comfort and peace as well as for Tim and the rest of your family. You've touched so many people with your kind and loving spirit, and your wonderful attitude is absolutely contagious. What a great friend you have in Barb as she is doing her best to represent all of us who want so badly to be with you but aren't able to. Thank you Barb! Marybe, please just know that we are all thinking of you and wishing only great things for you.
All my love to you my friend,

I'm so glad Harley is going to visit.

Marybe and Barbara, something made me check in on BCO today. Marybe, you have always been so kind -- thank you again for our PMs about Alpal/Allison and donations to her camp. You are in my prayers, Marybe -- sending you my love.
And I'm so glad your doggie is coming to visit!
And ((((((((hugs)))))))) to you, Barb -- love you, sweetie. -
I am so glad that Harley gets to visit. There is nothing more comforting than that warm body snuggling up to you to give peace and comfort. I am adding that to my 5 Wishes. Sad as this experience is, I am learning much, as I am sure others are, and I somehow think that Marybe would like that. Please thank her for allowing us to share this difficult time with her.
Peace and strength to you both.
-
Marybe, please don't "head into the light"...it might just be the janitor with a flashlight.
And don't "cross over the bridge" either. You'll just wind up in Covington.
Sending Love.

Morning Marybe, I am so happy to hear that Harley is coming to visit today. Visiting with your furry friend will send you a hint of our love for you. How good it must feel to hear Barb's familiar voice sharing our messages. Again, I send you my love. Ginger
PS Perhaps someone reading this can somehow help with your little stray cat that visits you a couple lots up from your house. Maybe someone is part of a rescue and can help. I know you, Marybe, will rest easier once this need is addressed.
Love Ginger

didn't know where to post this. As Marybe said we are all in this together. Marybe I feel like I know you through all of these post's and all of the love that is around you. Barb you are a wonderful friend to Marybe and her family and glad that you are there with her as everybody here wishes they could be. We don't know what God's plan is for Marybe, always holding on to another Miracle, she might not be done with what she has already acomplished. Whatever Marybe has given to each one of us it will be with us in our hearts and held dear to us. My prayers are with all of you. Marybe you are a true inspiration.

Dear Marybe,
I opened my back door this morning to feel the weather and it was slightly sprinkling ~ just small droplets of water falling through my trees that sounded like a fine wind chime. I took a deep breath and thought of you, Marybe. You would love it - that beautiful country air, clean and pure.
You brought that to this community, your pure friendship to each of us. You are one spectacular woman. I honor you.
Love and hugs, always.
PS ~ Thank you, Barb, for all that you are doing.
Edited to add the PS that I keep forgetting to do. -
Hi Marybe...hi Barbara. Mar, I hope your visit with Harley brings a smile to your lips and peace to your heart. Many of us have been saying that we're hoping you pull through, that we don't want to let you go just yet. And that's true, and I'm one of those people. BUT, I also want you to be able to feel peace at leaving this earth if it's your time. I guess we just have to trust that God will grant that peace to you. I don't want you to have to struggle, ever again. If that means I have to loosen any hold my selfishness has over you, then I'll do that. ((smooch))
-
What a beautiful thought Valjean. Always thinking of you Marybe.....hoping.
-
What a perfect idea, to bring in Harley for a visit! Let him lay beside you and give strength through his prescense.
-
Good morning Marybe I am soooooo glad you will get to visit with your fur baby. You are surrounded by such love and caring and it is just a reflexion of what you have put out to the universe your words and kindness have helped so many and we pray our words and love are helping you. (((Barb)))
-
I keep checking this thread for news ... keep hoping for that miracle. Marybe, please know you are loved and valued by so many. You have made a difference in so many lives. And that is priceless.
-
Marybe,
You are a precious soul my dear...your and barbs friendship is a testament to how you love us and now we get to pour love to you! You make my day every time you send me an email. Your strength is contagious and we all need that strength! Prayers my dear sister that you know how much you mean to all of us. You gave me the strength to dream about our future and that is a precious gift that this disease steals from us. Dreaming for a better tomorrow...hugs my sister!

At about 1:10 today, our beloved Marybe breathed her last, and went peacefully to the end, just as she chose it to be.
Her family and friends were present, and Barbara A was there..
she will post later.. please pray for her family, and friends as they begin to live their lives with her gone, as we will have to, also..3jays
