Devastating news even though expected. I wish her peace and will be thinking of her joyous Reunion with our Lord and her loved ones who have gone before her. Praying for peace and comfort for all of her friends and family left behind.
-
Marybe, you were our sunshine. Thank you for giving us your friendship and your precious love.
We will always remember you, our dear angel.

I loved those pictures---still in shock
MAR --I think we have all done the same thing and she's gone --this is so sad and I never met Marybe in person and yet it's so so sad. I enjoyed her up personality and her posts and just her.
-
Such a sad day. Marybe was one of the first people who contacted me when I was so devastated just after I was dx'd. I was so praying she would find her miracle. Heartbreaking news.
-
I was soooo praying for a miracle. I'll miss you Marybe. Peace be with you.
-
I'm sorry. May she rest in peace, and may her family and friends be comforted by wonderful memories.
-
Heartbroken but not defeated by this news. She was just such an inspiration.
So very kind and caring, never negative, always looking forward.
She will be so dearly missed.
Blessings and prayers to her family at this time.

This is heartbreaking news.... I was so hoping for a miracle....
I will miss her smiling face and wonderful posts on these boards, but I know she has gone on to a better place, that she is in no pain and that she is surrounded by her loved ones that have passed before her. Rest in peace, our dear angel Marybe.
Barb, thank you so much for being there and putting our hearts at ease by expressing our words to Marybe when we couldn't. This is so hard, bless you for being such a good friend to Marybe, and to all of us.
-
Marybe
Rest forever in his loving arms. What a truly wonderful person! You were so kind to me when I first joined. I have not been on these boards for months and for some reason felt like connecting with folks today. I am sorry that I lost the opportunity to say goodbye. I so wanted you to win that contest.
Tim my deepest sympathy
Barbara thanks so much for being with Marybe at the end. I am sure you were the comfort she needed

I have no words...rest precious sister! Comfort now to her family and Barbara!
-
I just always thought that Marybe would be the one to beat the odds and she did for so long. I'm so, so sorry it had to end this way. Wishing comfort and strength to all who knew and loved her. Rest in peace, Marybe.
Cancer really is a b**ch. -
Another bright star is added to the heavens to watch over us. Wish nothing but peace to Tim and the rest of Marybe's family.

Just got home from my chemo and saw the news; I started my day saying good morning to Marye and Barbara and I was off to chemo. Marybe didn't let chemo slow her down one bit. She welcomed me, answered lots of questions and was a special lady. This news is never easy when it is expected but less so when things happen so fast.
Love, Peace and strength to Marybe's family and friends. Barbara glad you got to be with Marybe; know this is a very hard day for you
I will miss her smile, her humor, her strength and encouragment. We'll see you again Marybe.
-
With deep sorrow....

The outpouring of love for Marybe says it all. There just wasn't anyone else like her. Her wisdom and wit gave so many of us a boost when we needed it most. I always checked her thread first thing when I logged on...
So many good sisters waiting to welcome her home.
-
Goodbye Marybe. Rest In Peace.
-
What a great loss to so many people. Sending blessings and comfort to her family. Thank you Barb for being there. Would love to shower Marybe with flowers from bco friends at her service. We may be able to get a local florist to create a beautiful basket of her favorite flowers from bco. We did this for Reesie, we were able to call into the florist and add a flower from people around the world.
God Bless you Marybe.
Terri

Rest in peace sweet Marybe. Thank you for all that you gave us here at bco. We will never forget your strength, determination and kindness (and cookies!). You will remain forever in our hearts.
-
Terri, wonderful idea about the flowers ... I'm sure Barbara will post the funeral details once known, and then we can try to locate a local florist. Calling the funeral home always is the first place I start, since obviously they get deliveries all the time. The picture of the bouquet we sent to Reesie is something that brings me great peace. We've done for several other sisters over the years, and the flower shop workers are always blown away. I'll watch for more details and help locate a florist if that seems appropriate at the time.

I have heard when someone passes on that their light burns out but Marybe's light will continue to shine on all who knew her. She was such a blessing to so many and touched all of our lives in one way or another. May we find comfort in her strength and determination. After I read the post of her passing I was on my way home and noticed a flock of geese in formation all flying together and I had to smile thinking of her. Prayers to her family and friends as they continue their journey. Thanks to everyone for the updates and pictures.
Fly with the Angels, Marybe!

I am so sad...
Donations to BCO would seem to be a fitting tribute, although I love the flower idea mentioned by Terri.
-
Marybe shared so much and was always so honest, I feel that I learned a lot from her. I am sad at her passing.
-
My heart goes out to all those that knew her and loved her and my deepest condolences to those that were especially close and her family.
I have read every post in the last few days and am so amazed at all the love and support she received from so many. You all are very special and I am sure she felt your love.
Hugs to all
Diane

Barbara, I am so sorry for the loss of your dear friend. How lucky she was to have someone like you in her life.
My deepest sympathy to all who loved her.
-
Thank you, Marybe, for being at the other end of this little box during some of my toughest times. I really hope you know what a star you are! Warm thoughts to Mary's friends and family.
-
So sorry to hear this news. May you all hold dear her thoughts, words and your precious times together.
-
My heart breaks. My prayers are being lifted up for the family.
-
As the years go by, and we lose more and more sisters, it always hurts no matter who it is. But Marybe reached out to SO MANY sisters; answering the frantic, worried questions of women from lower stages (along with chrissyb, "Thank-you").
We will remember you to our dying day. -
We will miss you, Marybe. Our warmest sympathies to her family.
