This is difficult news.
Marybe is in a coma. She is in heart failure, she has been removed from the intensive care unit, hospice is there with her and Tim. Yesterday Marybe was awake and talked with her friend Kathy for two hours. This is a turn that no one expected yesterday.
This is all I know. I am sorry I think others will come on with perhaps more detail.
This would be a good time for prayers.
I am shocked and don't know what else to say.
Blessings
Ginger

Omigosh, I just read on the chemo thread that Marybe was in the hospital and started reading from where I left off on this thread. Going along, she's improving, and then I hit this last page. I am in total shock. Marybe was posting on the chemo thread just last week. I'm praying for a Marybe miracle.

Hi all. With a heavy heart I am posting an email Maybe's husband sent to me a couple minutes ago.
Hi Barbara,
It is with deep regret
and sorrow that I write these words to you.Marybe is still alive
but, she is now on a morphine IV dripper.Yesterday (Saturday), I
was with Marybe until around 2:00pm. I left and went home and received a
call at about 3:30pm from the hospital telling me that they had to move Marybe
into ICU. Her breathing, heart, and blood pressure had all gone
haywire. When I got to the ICU, they told me that there was nothing they
could do for her and they suggested that we make her comfortable for the
balance of her ordeals. She was still conscious at this point and we both
agreed to that. We also both agreed that no ventilator was to be
used. They gave her an initial dose of morphine and hooked up a morphine
IV drip. She slowly drifted off into an unconscious state which is her
current condition. They have given her several breathing treatments which are
definitely helping to ease her difficulty in breathing. She becomes more peaceful
after receiving a treatment. They moved her back out of ICU this afternoon to a regular room as
there was no more need for ICU.She will be at Christ Hospital, Room 4063, until Tuesday. We
will be moving her to Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash on Tuesday.I want to thank each and everyone on the Breast Cancer Board who
have shown their love and compassion for my wife Marybe. I can't express
how much she loves each and every one of you all.Regards,
Timothy Enterline
