Marybe those cookies were delicious!  I actually like them a little harder and I thought that was how they were meant to be.........so no probs I really enjoyed them.  I even gave DH a couple to try and he said he liked them as well.

Hope you are feeling a whole lot better and have had a long talk to the docs about everything.

allyson: before i get started, i wante d to say: you look wonderful in the new avatar...i checked to see if we had a newbie...

  Okay: so marybe was taken to the Christ Hospital in Cinncinati.. im not sure, a day or two ago.. that part wasn't too clear..   tim was trying to get her to go before, but of course, she wouldn't . I really don't think she realizes she's so sick, even now..

  today she told me she didn't know then she was as sick as she was: and i offerred to come, but she thinks she'll be back at work soon..

  she's gone into the beginning of renal failure, which they say (and NOW she gets the cardio she's tried and tried to get: and a nephrologist, who's HIS recommendation) they did get a foley in her, and are rehydrating her , but slowly.. her levels are all over the place.. one says not enough fluid, one says too much.

  she's complaining that she won't eat.. i taLKED to tim, and had him ask the nurse if she could have one of those icees she likes.. the nurse gave the sure; so, he left, and went to get one. we stayed on the phone and talked till the nurse came in, and tried to get her to eat something..

  she's very weak, both the heart, and the kidneys are not working together..

  so, i'd ask you all to pray for our dearest, and hope that God will honor our requests, and she'll get thru this crisis, that she doesn't realize she's in. i did tell her twice, this could be life or death, and to keep screwing around about worrying about work, or her trip..

 they have her walking, trying to get the heart pumping a bit..and she has made a couple of laps, but with great fatigue, of course.. she's not alone, Tim of course, is by her side, and all the Kathies came to the hospital last night. i will try her cell tommorrow, or later tonight.. and i'll let you guys know anything i find out.. feel free to pm me, if you want..

  i pray she's still got fight in her, cause she's going to need it. i told her id tell everyone, and we'd have a pocket party, and help see her thru this..

  im too upset to say more, so everyone just think of marybe, as i know you do already..............3jays

Please God don't take our rock-we aren't ready for her to go. Hoping that her medical team can work together and get her back on her feet.

Just a note as I wish to add my hopeful healing vibes to all of yours.  I don't post anywhere much, but if you have ever "talked" to Marybe, you wouldn't forget her.  She is very special and so deeply inspirational.  I am praying for her and hoping with all my heart and soul that all gets sorted out well and that she gets through this time period and regains all she had going for her. 

Marybe you are loved and so appreciated for your loving and courageous spirit.  Get well please.

Marybe, you are in the right place at the right time and thank God everyone is getting focused together! You will have all the board meetings at the hospital talking about you - Renal, Cardio, Oncology, etc - so surely they can come up with a consensus!!! You WILL come out the other side of this stronger than ever. Next time, will you listen to those of us who told you to get seen sooner??? Hmmm?

I agree Barbe these specialists should have all been coordinated from the beginning, esp when she started the adria. Marybe she is right, you will come out stronger and have a great time on your trip!!

Prayers and love on the way....I pray for her strength, I pray for Tim's strength and for Marys heart to be carried through all of this and please take great care of Mary during this time. I pray that she finds this love and it lifts her to healing quickly. Please give Mary and Tim their needs to get well. Amen.

I sincerely hope that by this time, right now, you are doing better & that the doctors have finally kicked some PA to the curb & that you are peeing & pooping & eating the way you should be girl!
