I sent you a PM several days ago concerning reconstruction. Check your private message. -
Thank you, Betty and CURVEBALL!
-
Yes Olgah...I was speaking about you. Your hair is so cute and adorable. I love it. When my hair started to grow it came in blondish...strange...as I am a Black woman. My grandmother though was a red head, and all of her sisters were blonds. Maybe it trickled down the line...lol.
A while back I did knit a baby jacket for a 3 month old and it turned out well. I had so many questions, and a woman on my job (who taught me to knit) very patiently helped me with answers to my questions.
So thank you. I will keep you in mind if I have any questions.
-
Can I see a picture of baby jacket?
Thank you again...It is ( hair) longer now and I, probably, keep it short. My hair started growing back like salt and pepper, and I always had light brown hair, of course, I am not young and I have grey hair, but I did not like what I got after chemo...They told me I looked like Jamie Lee Curtis, don't like her much... -
Okay girls, as promised the last of the pullovers for my DH is finished. I've done three for him in total for this winter so I think I've done enough for him. I'm thinking my next project will be a lace shawl for each of my daughters but first I have to but some lace weight yarn. Until that gets here I will be sorting out my sewing room ready for the summer.
-
This is a very beautiful pullover! Great job, Chrissy1 I finished pullover for my 4 y.o, grandson, waiting till DH puts it on Internet!
-
-
Very nice Olga! I really like the pattern you have used and the variegated natural color shows it off to perfection.
-
nice pullover you ladies doing a great job
chrissyb yours looks like the pattern i did on a pullover how du you put a picture on ?
-
Erika to put a picture on BCO first you need to put your pic onto a web album like Facebook , picassa or some other. Then all you do is right click on your pic and then left click on copy picture URL. Come back to this thread and on the top line of the posting box you will see a little tree. Left click on that and wait till it opens a small box. In that box in the top line, right click then left click on paste. Then a the bottom of the box on the left, left click on the word insert. Your pic will now appear. You will need to resize your pic do its not too large.
Hope you can understand this. If you have a problem just PM me and I'll see if I can sort it out for you. -
Olga,

I finished my third pullover for my DH a couple of days ago and was going to wait and get some lace weight yarn before starting another project but I cannot just sit and do nothing so tonight I started on pullover number 4 for my DH........lol.......he will definitely not be suffering from the cold! -
Hi all, still knitting away as I know Chrissy was when I was chatting with her yesterday. These are some of the thing we have made for one of the local hospitals.
And this is the scarf I made with wool a friend in Denver gave me.It was sock wool.
-
Wow Aly they are great! Yes please bring me a copy of the patterns so I can knit up the baby wool I have. I'll donate the finished items to the Women's and Children's Hospital in the city. That is where my beautiful grandchildren and nieces were born.

Olga...I will try to post picture of sweater. Still can't figure out how to do it. My hair came back thinner and I hate it. I remember saying I would never complain about my hair again. Will be picking up some yarn today. My coworker is planning on getting pregnant and I want to do something nice for her. Any suggestions for a newbie like me?
-
She is not pregnant yet, right? so we do not know what color to knit...what about nice cream color blanket?Hair wil change, the first one always look weird...
-
Guess what? She is about to transfer to another job. Just found out yesterday. I would still like to try though. Is there a special pattern or yarn that I should use?
