Cami - oncologists seem to differ in opinion on whether or not to "blast" a liver tumor that's metastasized from the original cancer. And yes, it also depends on the exact location, size, etc.
Thanks, sas. Perfect.

Penny I'm sure they do---I know a woman who had gone to mets with a tumor in the liver and they did blast it and she said there were no SE after and she's doing well, but again I didn't ask the specifics and it must have been a certain size and placement that was on her side. Understandable
Again one size doesn't fit all.

michelle--updated both threads with Penny, bcbarbie, and LMFSM I don't think there were any updates to both threads--here and archives that haven't been done Have a safe trip. You and Cheri have a wonderful visit

Everyone, I already told Michelle - I cannot attend the Shrine visit with her. I'm working a lot of overtime and I work too late all this week to be able to go. We were not able to meet up this week - I still hope to meet her in person before I go and I hope to visit the shrine with her even just to say a quick prayer for all of us. I am so grateful she is able to go for all of us. The shrine is very small but peaceful and powerful. I have been lucky enough to visit 3 times after my cancer diagnosis.
Thank you Michelle on behalf of everyone, and I hope to meet you before I move out of state

That we will have a future, healthy, happy, and free from cancer, and spared from the long-term side effects of these drugs being pumped into our bodies. That my friends, cecille, marivic, and raquel, recover from their respective cancers. In Jesus' name.

Hi everyone, been praying along side each of you, for each of you. As you know I am a music minister and after cancer treatments I have found a voice I didn't know existed. I also sang before, but sweetly and quietly. Now when my mouth opens I don't even need a microphone, in church. This transformation has been incredible, it feels good, and now every single word I sing has meaning, each phrase....it's like I get it now, "taste and see the goodness of the Lord", I understand with every sense we have, with every fiber of our being, we let God's love pour out and we trust that He will take care of the rest.
My DD starts her senior year of college next week, has decided to quit her job that was too many hours on top of full time school, went by a church today (the family one not the college one) and signed up to teach CCD. Am I prouder of the senior year or the CCD? My heart is full of joy.
Please tell me if you hear a new song and like it, what it is. I am teaching myself so many more, everyday. The Spirit is moving in all of us and I thank God for the journey I am on and where He has led me so far, even in this disease, to meet you all and renew my faith and deepen my relationship with Him. How many people go through life really not understanding what we know and what we feel?
God is good. Simple as that.
Song I 'm learning this week "Held" by Natalie Grant
SAS I think this song might speak to you, so beautifully.

Sagina--how beautiful. Besides the JOY, I hear a peace in your words that is new. You are blessed. Let it be so. Namaste sheila

Hello everyone,
Well I was on vacation and missed the start of the Novena. I just couldn't keep up with all the email traffic on my phone while I was away. I'll catch the next one and will continue to pray for everyone here daily!
Welcome bcbarbie!
Michelle, your post made me cry as well. I've prayed for a similar sign but haven't had one yet! I'll keep praying. I'll be having CT scan, bone scan and mammo in September so I'm a bit stressed about that at the moment.
Gina, I'm also involved with music ministry at my church and listening to Christian music while I was off work having treatments brought me a lot of peace. So many people told me I shouldn't go to Mass during chemo because of the risk of infection. I don't think I missed a choir practice or Sunday Mass the whole time - I just wasn't willing to give that up, especially when I felt I needed God the most. We have been learning contemporary music from the Spirit & Song books (http://www.spiritandsong.com/). There is some beautiful music in those books - some of my favourites from the books are Sacred Silence, Holy Spirit Come to Me, Spirit Come Down, God of Wonders, Christ be our light, Fish With Me, Go Light Your World, Song of the Cross, I Will Have Faith In You, and Open the Eyes of My Heart. I also love "I can only imagine" by Emerson Drive.
Love to all. -
"I can only imagine" absolutely one of my favorites
Welcome back Michelleo

Grateful to mmm5 for delivering the Novena intentions to St Peregrines Shrine - I am sorry I couldn't join you. Worked late tonight again and working Saturday....thank you for doing that!
Cheri
-
How kind of u mmm5.
-
Michelle Thank you.
For all, there is a specialness about having a novena and intentions delivered to the shrine of the saint that the novena is dedicated too. Over time, we have been blessed to have Members that live near shrines. Many of our novenas have been delivered as Michelle has done.
Theresa perhaps you can explain it better than my simple explanation.
For all, those that missed doing the novena , you can do the novena now, if you so wish. I will continue adding intentions until I receive no more. If i miss someone Pm me Namaste
-
Sagina , i finally got to read the lyrics from Held by Natilie Grant. You were right they do have a special meaning and it's the road that I felt I traveled. Thank you sweet sister Namaste sheila
-
Michele and Hanzie---I added your intentions on all three pages. please check for accuracy. Namaste
The reason it is important to continue to add to the intentions is ---we do novenas on a pretty regular basis . The next date is not determined, but It will be to Mother Mary of the Miraculous Medal. Unless someone opps out. The intention will be moved forward to the next novena.
Everyone will be notified by Pm of particulars. The same format will be used. History, prayer, intention, links.
The mods have said I can no longer notify on threads. Many came b/c of those thread notifications. TOO bad. But it's there site there rules. The only thread that the notice wasn't deleted from was my INSOMNIA thread which said in the header that there were no rules just play nice LOL. The insomnia thread goes in spurts depending who has insomnia. The night it started it was like a chat room. Messages flying. diverging. So it will make putting the next novena together much easier, if intentions are kept up to date. Namaste. sheila

Thank you. Please pray for me for courage and physical strength to finish chemo.
-
Praying for you , bcbarbie10 & all others.
Thank you mmm5! You are truely a blessing to us all!
-
Praying for all my bc sisters and Frank!
Breathe in me, O Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy.
Act in me, O Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy.
Draw my heart, O Holy Spirit, that I may love only what is holy.
Strengthen me, O Holy Spirit, that I may defend all that is holy.
Guard me, O Holy Spirit, that I myself may always be holy.— St. Augustine of Hippo
-
Praise Jesus! Another 20% decrease in size in that stupid goombah in my liver! Thanks for the prayers! Please continue!
