I'm curious has anyone else noticed a difference in the SE's between generic and brand name aromasin.  I was on the brand name and after switching pharmacies started taking the generic.  I noticed the hot flashes improved...less severe and not as many.  And the dizziness was better, it made me worry was it even working.  I'm now back on the brand name and everything is back...:(  I was told they are the same and there is no difference but I sure can tell that there is or am I imaging it all.

HI Jenny,  I have been on Aromosin and am really amazed at the fact I don't really have the many SE's that I had on Arimadex and Tomoxifen.  When I started on Aromisin durng the winter, it was the generic, so maybe thats why I don't really have bad side effects.  After having such a hard time on the others it's nice to not have to deal with it, and I have the confidence of knowing on on an AI. I often wonder about whether or not generic is working as good as the brand name.  Maybe I've just been so involved with all the crap from my knee issues and SE's of other meds I'm not as focused on the BC meds.  But the knee issues keep bringig up other fears about BC coming back. Guess it just doesn't get any better.Undecided

Jenny, have no advice, since I am on Tamoxifen, another nastie... But want to ''use '' your thread and ask Barb something, if you dont mind.

Barb, as you may remember I am too having trouble with my knees. Though I can tell that it is better than few months ago. But it's always there. May I ask, why do you fear of BC coming back with your knee pain?? As far as I read, they say it's not likely to met there, but am I missing anything essential, that I should know??
