Girls, asking for prayers for our breast friend Marie's family, she passed away yesterday. She is REESIE on BCO. She and I met when Chrissy B and I went out to dinner and she is also a facebook friend and a dear friend to Chrissy B as well. Her family seems as strong as she was but they sure need prayers. i will likely represent all of us if there is a viewing.
Junie, please give her a warm welcome to Heaven. RIP MARIE, LOVE YOU!
Life is good, enjoy each day as we never know when it will be our last. Her last post on facebook made me sad. Her daughter was a riot, so funny. The love of family was evident..... PEACE AND LOVE TO ALL. and again, fuchk YOU Rb, FUK U!

Bernie, the bottle of wine is poyfect and glad to hear your company IS staying at a hotel. That meal sounds nasty, I think we should serve it to Lara's XBF.
Kathy, jes don't know what to say about your house, that is just so devasting, and I can't believe you are going skydiving, you are crazy! And no way would I give someone a key to my home, uh uh. That is just asking for trouble.
Unde, you sneaky goil! I been hiding one too, Sexy Rexy. Glad you are being cautious and taking things slow. I just can't imagine having to go through all that.
Thoothie, lol.......did you get your thoup? Glad your Jen is feeling better.
Dorothy, I don't know what is so spayshul about a Keurig coffee pot, can you tail me please?
Das a great lamp shade hat there Orange! And you can make a FB book page private, so that no one can see your information. You can also use a different name, say someting like Orange Orla!
NM, yes I am freezing the skettin sauce. I no longer have the stuff for canning. Of course I could buy it, but I would like to try freezing. Will have some this week to try it out. Eavesdropping, what a good way to put it! Have a great first day on the job, will have you sumpin to drink when you gets home.
Sue, I was always getting a bill from CTCA, I would call, and they would always tell me that they are waiting on my insurance. Finally ins. said they wouldn't pay, and they wanted me to pay. I said I was all paid up and covered 100%, they said they would look into just letting it go. Well, I never got another bill, but I also did not get anything saying it was at $0. Then I started getting letters and phone calls from them, wanting to know how I was doing. I never answered them, as I thought they might want me to pay if they knew I was seeking medical care elsewhere. I feel bad, cuz I just loved CTCA.
Woot woot for the wine ribbons Alli. Which ones got 1st?
Hey Karen! Good to see you.
I think we have Long Island Ice Tea's for our DOTD. Thanks Celine. Toasting to Marie and sending prayers for her family and friends, and big ole
FURB to go along with it!
Hugs for all my breasties.

Biggest hugs today for Chrissyb and Dorothy, and others that were touched by Marie (Reesie). I didn't have the honor to meet her, not even on the boards. You that knew her were very special indeed, as it sounds like she was so full of love and inspiration for everyone she met. (((((Chrissyb))))), ((((((Dorothy))))), (((((Reecie's other friends and family))))).
FURB, you have taken too many wonderful people from us.
I plan to have several Long Island Ice Teas, as tears are falling, thinking of so many people hurting right now, from losing Marie, aka Reesie.
-
CHRISSYB - I am sooo sorry...(((BIG HUGS))) !!
DOROTHY - (((BIG HUGS))) !!
May you rest in peace Marie...I shall miss you!

I wonder if anyone is doing something for her service. When AlaskaDeb passed (quite some time ago) we all send a designated amount to the local florist. A rose was added to the huge arrangements from ea person who did this...plus their condolences. It was so impressive that the local tv (AK) station went to her home and to the florist and did a really nice segment on how AlaskaDeb touched people around the world. It helps to do something like this, when so many are hurting and want to acknowledge what a wonderful person she was. There are prolly already threads about this, but I haven't looked. Big hugs to all who are hurting. ((((HUGS))))
-
Just read another thread about Marie (Reesie), and that she was only 49. Someone posted this about Marie's passing....
I know recently Reesie finished WBR and radiation to her spine. I know she felt very tired and her platelets kept dropping, but she was still full of hope that she had more time.
A friend of hers posted on her caringbridge page that she was feeling unwell yesterday and she was having pain in her liver. They took her to the ER where she later had a heart attack and passed away. It was all very quick! -
Hugs Dork its a sad day (hugs) It makes me so mad , so sad.

Hey girls, I is werking now, well Stella is really. Had to pop in for some LI iced teas with you goils. My heart is heavy over today's news. But please don't use your prayers on me, they are needed by Marie's family. They are a wonderful bunch. She once told me that all of her family are fire fighters. Her DD Megan is so sweet and so funny. Marie always told stories that were humorous yet she told them with love. I have laughed so many times at things they would say and do. the twins are 20 I think. And both are both walking the Komen race, raising money in her honor, they got that goodness from their mommy. Here here!! *clink....here is to Marie.
wanted to say more but i have to make sure stella does the right things at work. she messes up sumtimes. but she not dwinking, I watching her dwink.
LOVE YOU ALL! sorry to be so out of touch......

There's a point in every true friendship, where friends stop being friends and become sisters
-
Lifting my glass to Marie ....... May she rise on the wings of angels as she truly was one.
Just goes to show that it's not just the RB that we have to watch for but the damage treatment does to the rest of our bodies........... it is after all poison.
Think I'll have a few more shots of to kill ya ........ at least I know what that will do to me fo shore!
TITTIES UP!!!! -
good morning ladies, here's something to smile about,
hopefully our angels would like this -
well I just made a very heartfelt post but don'tcha know I lost it. I went to find a drink to sailabrate both marie and junie's life but used the same window to do the search.
here is to all of our angels in heaven, cheers! grab a straw and join me

Chrissy, the bigliest bottle is for you cuz I love you so much. I can't help but think of my stage IV friends here. I prayed so hard for all of you yesterday. CB, not sure if you remember the tour of my work parking lot but I was at the prayer pole twice yesterday and prayed for all of my breast friends. (there are dumb flags on poles at work that have a one word statement, the pole that I go to to pray says "passion" but I call it my prayer pole. I may be there again today. I had an email from a breast friend at work, we became close after losing our mutual friend Cindy. Her email was business in nature but I had to pick up the phone and call her. It just felt good to talk about the loss of Marie. This friend was very close to Cindy and had lost two friends very close in time, the other being a gal she met during chemo.her name is Sherry, I had you goils praying for her when Cindy died as she not only lost two breast friends, she lost her best friend and her father too, all in a matter of months. It was nnice having hear to lean on yesterday.
Juliet, where is that car wash? I think my rental car needs washed before I take it back hehe. Oh, hoping to get my car back today. I hope the people found that damn crash magnet and removed it.
Amen Bernie, you hit de nail on de head with that post. How are your visitors doing? Have they yet emptied your fridge? I do believe the guy relative ate ebberyting in sight? Love you.
Let's have a party tonight or all day for that matter and sailabrate the lives of our breast friends who have moved on to their final destination. And here is a group hug (((MY ARMS AROUND EACH OF YOU))). Love you all....Cheers!
-
Good morning ladies, or evening Chrissy, lol. And Chrissy, you are so right about the effects of the treatment we get.
Well, it's Two'sday, so I'm gonna have two of those bottles of booze to start with (thanks D) and then I will take two a dem car wash guys with me to help me drink those bottles, wink wink! (Thanks Juliet)
Hope everyone has a great day. I'm off to work. Ciao
