AMERICAN IDOL....Season 11

I insisted they discharge me last night so I could be home to watch AI.I wasn't with it during most of the show. I left striked instructions to wake me up before the results. i woke up in time to watch Joshua and Fantasia - UGHHHHH it was terrible!!! Fantasia boosted my Joshua. non appeal. Yes, he's a greatsinger but I think he'd be best in a church, or on broadway. (Im high if you can't tell 20 hours post surgery due to a TE problem.
-
Fortunately, we had AI on DVR, so we fast-forwarded it through all the screechfests.
-
Claire - absolutely yes....start a thread for SYTYCD and I will be on there keeping it going!
It starts tonight - I am off to make sure my DVR is set to tape!
-
So thankful I opened up this thread! It wasn't on the timer for this year so now it is set but not only that - I put it as top priority #1 to tape.
I have about 50 timers set up

-
Jancie, I started a new thread for SYTYCD. If i knew how to put a link here I would. There was already a thread but it was two years old and rather sad and pitiful. Inviting all you ladies to watch one of the better entertainment programs on tv. If you like GOOD dancing and storytelling come watch SYTYCD with us. Its tonight at 8 on Fox.
-
I am glad I came to this thread too! I nearly missed it!

Ladies I can't wait to share 2013 AI with u and here we go auditions start next month
-
I just read that PP has to go in for a kidney reconstruction, his right kidney has ceased functioning. He's already had 8 surgeries. Amazing he made it thru the last few months.
-
PP was at Jay Leno last night.....
I love his personality....his sense of humor...his honesty
♥
-
"cat women gone wrong" !!! haaaa that was funny.
As far as PP's kidney operation - I hope they can fix it, if not, I hope he still has a spare. My mother has lived with one kidney for over 45 years.
I get so emotional when I think about PP - I don't want him in pain. He's one of the good guys - sincere, loving, kind...
He made me forget alllll about Christian Grey!
-
My 2 year old granddaughter only has 1 kidney and is doing great she had a whelms tumor and now her one kidney is growing like it is suppose to and taking over the missing one. You see GOD gave us two just in case one decides not to work. So PP will do just great

-
I was very pleased too Karen
-
-
Thanks Sheila for keeping us up to date on PP. That sure was a long surgery, can't wait to hear him sing again!!
-
You're welcome Karen
-
Thank you for the update. I look forward to seeing him perform again when he is well.

Idols are not idle...I was at Citifield for the NY Mets vs. NY Yankees last night The national anthem was sung by Stefano and he was wonderful. He's really got a mature and powerfu voice! I always liked him but, on Idol, his music wasn't relevant enough for the young audience.
-
I follow several of the "kids" on twitter that were on idol but didn't win in years past and they keep me updated on what the others are doing. Apparrently they all stay in touch with each other. They develop such a close realtionship and friendship while they are on the show. Some are closer than others. But I agree Joan Stphano did have a great voice he just needs to find his niche where he fits in to appeal to the "younger" generation. He's so cute you would think the girls would go crazy for him.
Can't wait till Idol 2013 I'm counting down the days and months!!!
-
Mimi- you are right - he is very cute but it seemed that his music was appropriate for a cruise ship crowd!
Keep bringing the idol updates and trivia.... -
Just heard that Colton will be singing one of the recent new songs he wrote on the Idol tour. He has recently been on a writing frenzy and written I believe he tweeted "11" songs in "11" days. LOL!!! follow him on twitter. Colton Dixon.... it's suppose to be a christian based song. I haven't listened to it yet but going to go back to twitter and listen on his link.
-
Here's the link to sneak peek at Colton Dixon's song he will be performing on the Idol tour that he wrote. Hope you like it if you are a Colton fan
)) -
OMG.... Both Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez have chosen not to return next season! Not good news!!!!!
-
Although..... hmmmm... Now that I think about it, this season really kind of fell flat... Maybe a switch-up in the judges might help? Time will tell!
-
Another Idol-er performs at Citifield in NY
After the Mets game Friday night, we saw Daughtry. Acoustics non-existent (stadum) but they are awesome.
-
Any thoughts on Mariah Carey joining Idol this next season? and what do you think about Brad Paisley becoming a potential judge? I love the idea of him being on Idol... he is a pratical joker, has a great personality, and is well respected in country music and other jonre's. It would also broaden the horizon of Idol to have a country judge. In my opinion....
-
Let's see....Mariah Carey has been confirmed as a judge.....and now Snoop Dog wants to be the third one! Or at least that's what I read yesterday....
I think Steven Tyler got a whole lotta money for just sitting there week after week, saying "That was beautiful, Man..."
