Hi sally , i dont have bone mets but I do remember the months after chemo I would still be experiencing joint and bone pain. sitting for long periods at a time and then moving around was so difficult and unbearable.

Sallyyy, I think Herceptin can do all kinds of things...

Don't forget you are less than 2 months out of chemo and don't forget, chemo is cumulative.  When I had been on herceptin about 9 months, I had the wierdest thing happen with my right leg.  If I drove for too long (more than an hour or less) my leg hurt so much I couldn't drive.  It was scary. But it went away.

I'm wondering if your pain might be referred pain from perhaps a disc in your back.

I'd check in with my onc right away--not because it might be cancer but perhaps it is some wierd chemo effect or he can refer you to someone who could help you about this.

    Good luck.

I experienced joint pain for a year after I ended chemo! It takes a long time for it to get out of your system. Easier said than done, but try not to get ahead of yourself.

    Hi Sally,

I have lung mets, and bone mets. I checked on you because you had posted back in May in the Stage IV forum that you were afraid you have lung mets. Don't you have a PET/CT scheduled this month? You have been waiting since May now for this PET/CT, you will get through the next days too. Just hang in there for a little longer.

Lung mets and bone mets will show on a PET/CT scan. But like some other ladies posted already here, your bone pain might just be after effects of your chemo, or SEs of Herceptin. As my bone mets were discovered in Jan 2011, I had absolutely no bone pain at all. The same for my lung mets, which were discovered in Jan 2010, no pain for a long time.

Hope your PET/CT is still scheduled for this month, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that it will turn out good.

Good luck, and hang in there,
    Hugs,
    Helmie
