also, there is BGH ( Bovine Growth Hormone) added in USA - no labels, some dairy products are Non-BGH, but not many.

Another good reason to be dairy freeSealed

Sunflowers, I am pretty sure BGH is not used in Europe, but I am ot sure, so it could be a concern here too, I guess. That is really disgusting.

I took a close look at my 'Natural' almond milk,  < that is how the label reads  >   and it does have an *.   The fine print says says

    * " with added vitamins and minerals".

Maybe you could call the company producing the "natural" milk and ask specifically what those 2 words include.

My understanding is that the word natural has no legal definition when used on labels. Organic does and the product must also list the organization that certified them.

my understanding is same as Peggy's - just think CALLING THE COMPANY puts them on "notice" that people are seriously looking at ingredients.

Hi ladies, I changed from cows milk to basmati rice milk - 30% of RDA - I love it.

I'm staying off dairy completely.... I've read a few things, including the Cina Study, that lead me to question whether any dairy is good for the body. At the end of the day, we are the only animals that consume milk into adulthood... And the milk of another species to boot.

I've gone about 99% vegan.... But dairy is the thing I won't compromise on. If something has a bit of egg in it... Fine... Or honey... Fine... Or if it's touched something that's not vegan... Fine....

I - overall - feel good about this choice and feel like it is overall contributing to maximizing my chances of avoiding a recurrence. Now that I've found awesome dark chocolate.... And a few other delicious things, I don't miss dairy at all. Also, I believe that osteoporosis is uncommon in vegans.... Oh yeah, and it helps that the local coop serves up excellent soft serve coconut milk ice cream.... And izzys ice cream in St. Paul makes an excellent excellent soy chocolate ice cream!

Since becoming a vegan last year, I have been drinking almond milk. It is delicious!  I like it so much better than cows' milk.
