What: Bilateral MX (right affected, left for balance)

Forms: Hefty great silicone brutes and some idiotic adhesive ones. 4 years on I can no longer wear them - truncal lymphoedema makes bra wearing too painful. Plus I hate the bloody things.

    Age: 47 (43 at dx)

What: Right MX, so yes, half flat.

Form: Yes, but not around the house unless guests are over, and not for sleeping in.  Remaining L boob is size 36F, so I'm pretty odd looking without form!!  (If I'd had BMX, I'd not bother with anything).

    Age: 42 at diagnosis

    Great topic!

Ooooh, I like this thread...very interesting!

    What:  UMX, left only

Forms:  To work and when I bring my children to school or dance classes (they have not asked me to, but I do not want to be the one to force the discussion for the other kids and/or their parents).  FLAT all the rest of the time (beach, gym, store, home, out to dinner).  I keep thinking that I am very odd looking, as I am a D cup on the remaining side, but no one seems to ever notice...and I just keep being stunned.  I am not even wearing clothes that camouflage the imbalance...I wear tight t shirts, even.

Forms: fiberfill form when I am out and about - if I remember to put it in. at home I go formless- I like hearing that others go out and about without forms! gives me courage to do it on purpose.

What: Bilateral (right breast affected, bilat for peace of mind. Lefty turned out to have stage 0)

Forms: Yes, usually, small fiber fill jobs. Because of LE issues, I avoid bras. I wear the foobs in a T with the front end of a bra sewn into it.

Left mastectomy about a month ago. I've heard of forms, but I haven't a clue where you'd get them and I'm not that interested in figuring it out.

What: right mastectomy (waiting to hear if insurance will cover a prophylactic mx of left breast - I'm tired of worrying and of being lopsided)

Forms: Yes, but not at home and not if wearing a big tshirt or sweatshirt (I'm a stay at home mom).  I wear it if I'm dressing nicely or wearing something tight. I am only a A/small B cup.
